winner there what was your feelings towards last year’s game for this year’s game a little bit more kind of intensity it looked like compared to last year just the buzz around this game what was your feelings towards last year compared to this year yeah I mean both years the uh fans were great but um obviously this year was H some pretty good energy and uh I pretty exciting game I mean go to a shirot outs uh it’s always fun chemistry guys with s twins almost I mean what what’s it like playing with him after you know getting to know each other meeting each other last year this you’re saying in touch and you know you mentioned your roommates just is that mesh on the ice just being roommates knowing each other beard that does your game grow together on the ice because of that I was remot with with him h no they didn’t let us play together this uh this camp but uh no musty’s he’s he’s pretty legit and obviously he has a eyes in the back of his head like you you could see out there I do remember you guys said you were hanging out but just that camaraderie feel like you know being that friendly off the ice with someone does that add to you guys play together on the ice 100% I mean we’re uh always hanging out I mean at the hotel I mean going to get food or um whatever I mean it’s it’s always fun being around these guys and um once’s to get on the ice it definitely helps as you take today as sort of a kind of a big game kind of thing like you know this is your first game as a shark in front of the Sharks fans and all that kind of stuff just like extra motivation also you know obviously your roomate here too like is that an extra motivation kind of put your best out there I mean yes and no I mean obviously it’s uh it’s still summertime but it’s still a game so I think uh we’re all competitive here and um it’s obviously fun getting to see the F and um I mean get to introduce yourself to them with your play and um it’s pretty fun well now that you’re signed obviously how much does count like this how you view it now just in terms of it being a little bit more real in terms of The Next Step that you want to take a lot I mean I’m coming here at this Camp it’s obviously a little different I’m I’m signed for the for next year and um I mean seeing where I’m going to live and seeing the areas kind of more uh more things I was doing this camp and um obviously it’s definitely more real as The Season’s coming track what the Sharks did this offseason terms the guys they they brought it and kind of look at the dep chart of where you kind of might fit in on the NH roster is that something you looked at a little I mean obviously before I was gonna assign I knew they were gonna make some moves and kind of you know bring guys in to you know help us and obviously that’s that’s huge for a team that’s going to win so I think um before I even sign into there do that and um it’s prettyy exciting looking forward to you know getting to getting to know guys like gr some of the other veteran definitely I mean a couple of them gave me a phone call and just kind of you know welcome me to the team and um it’s pretty nice you know having those guys around to kind of show us the way I guess uh you know I guess he had to have one more game against that guy over there today um surpris you know not surprising to see him put his imprint on the game late I know it’s three on three and there’s more space but given you know what he’s done in his ped it’s not surprising to see him no I mean his impr it’s probably our seventh game versus each other so uh we were pretty pissed off in the room when they we found out we were on the same team but uh no it’s it was pretty fun I mean hopefully that’ll be one of the last times is this kind now automatically get into the hockey mode knowing what’s GNA be set up for the rest of the summer before the actual training camp starts definitely I mean uh talked about earlier in Camp I mean obviously the Gym’s huge this summer and um it’s an NHL season so it’s 82 games and I know that going into it and uh know it’s gonna be battle I talked to Mike was talking the other day at at the draft he said you got a lot of guys who now fit either play your Center or the wing I mean I know you’re a centerman but you play play a little wing was the last time you might played the wing guess yeah I’ve played Wing in my in my career I mean obviously um I played center at BC but yeah I’m totally comfortable playing both and um I mean whatever they need me to do I can do both and I think at BC a couple games I would switch back and forth depending on who I was playing with just positioning I would say um Sun here kind of more low and slow and um kind of more all around the dzone uh having to you know find your guy where when you kind of have your quadrant thank you [Music]
