STEVE YZERMAN MAKES ANOTHER MOVE: DETROIT RED WIGNS SIGN A D-MAN (Tory Dello)

so Steve Eiserman watched the last YouTube video on this channel wherein I said that it’s pretty boring and there’s not really much to talk about because the Red Wings went out there and made themselves a signing spicing up our Thursdays and giving us something to talk about update the Detroit Red Wings today have signed defenseman Tori Del to a one-year two-way contract and this is as minor of a deal as minor deals can get two-way deal so he’s going to be making a different amount of money in the NHL versus the AHL one year long so it is just a transitory season for Tori Del but if you’re paying attention to the Grand Rapids Griffins and their overall structure their team their players you might actually be familiar with this guy because Tori Del was initially a Grand Rapids Griffin in 2019 to 2021 he played 20 games with the Griffins before signing a free agent deal with the Laval rocket he then played with the Montreal Canadians AHL system for two seasons went over to Chicago and played over there and then this previous season he had 13 points in 65 games played not the best not the worst he’s an okay guy 27 years old 6 feet 194 right-handed defenseman there really is nothing more to it he is death a lot of people are kind of Ming in the comments saying oh this is somebody to take Jeff Petri spot okay that’s probably not going to happen Tony Del I wouldn’t really think is going to be a or Tony Del Tori Del excuse me I read the next comment here Tony D’Angelo no it’s Tori but Tor Del probably won’t be getting some NHL time this upcoming season just based off of his track record who really knows I mean guys like these can sometimes surprise everybody in training camp and in the preseason so if that happens then okay we’ll see Tori Del in the winged wheel this upcoming year but for now it seems like he is just going to be a Grand Rapids Griffins depth signing good depth piece I like the signing Stevie is clearly zoned in on fixing our glaring issues and keeping the puck out of our own net we’re going to be buyers at the deadline for sure I also saw some people talking about how this signing could be indicative of the Wings intention of moving some of their Grand Rapids Griffins defenseman up into the main Squad which does make a lot of sense to me I mean you take a look at the Griffins they do have quite a few guys that could transition into NHL roles Albert Johansson I’d say is the most notable out of this crop of course we’re assuming already that Simone Edinson is going to be a Redwing but from Albert Johansson to potentially vilam vinder maybe anti toist maybe broen rafy who really knows there are defenseman who could transition into the Red Wings system fulltime so you’re going to need guys to fill up their roster spots in the AHL and this is exactly what Tor Delo is going to do so let me know your thoughts in the comment section below about the Red Wings making another signing I hope you enjoyed this V sign on and bye

  1. Caps fan here,
remember when he was a genious for getting vrana and and a first for Mantha to the caps? I would take caps GM everyday. caps have a plan and Detroit seems to be hoping to get lucky, i expected Detroit to be contenders since the Mantha trade. they are fun to watch, and the caps were like watching grass grow, not this upcoming year I think caps move up the metro and fight for 3rd vs their last playoff spot last year. caps/ islanders were last two in last year, you got to think new jersey is in knocking out islanders and caps are much better than last year. this east is a beast, ottawa also got better ,buffalo put it together late last year, i think caralina is the weak spot with losing good players and weak goaltending, they may havr missed thair window and are vulnerable to be passed for a playoff spot IMO. Go Caps!
