keeps on hitting that’s now six hits in this series 6 for 10 and a swing and a miss he went upstairs and got bomed to chase two down there he goes pitches inside no throw I don’t think Neato had a hand on that so 11 stolen bases now for Trey Turner that’s a really good sign maybe that opens the door he had a supreme jump even though tyion is very quick to the plate toaso trying to be a little quick and he didn’t quite get the grip on them philings went fully loaded obviously a very Dynamic group but even without those guys it’s pretty solid they got a good mix of left and right there’s a line drive Bas H to center field Turners around third heading for home Bellinger has a good arm here’s the throw to the plate it is offline sweet slide one nothing Phils it’s an RBI for marsh and the greatest slider of all time gets his hand in ahead of the tag it’s one ZIP Phillies yeah really nice job of hitting by uh by marshy he stays on this little uh change up or Cutter and drives to the two have reached here in the second the Cubs got a little something cooking here I think part of the maturation of Christopher Sanchez is that when he has had games where early on he doesn’t have Pitch A or B they keep throwing it and he finds it like there he found the change up he got Morel and that’s the the first strike out so one away yeah this is vintage Christopher Sanchez and this is the one that Fades stops pops and drops and he gets Christopher Morell swing and a miss he got him second strike out aggressive on the fast ball and it doesn’t always have to be in the strike zone that the Cubs have the lead and was able to elevate that pitch from Sanchez boy he was really purposeful too with that swing TR to make sure he got that ball Airborne it’s just the second home run Sanchez has allowed all year 71 Innings without giving up a homer before that that shot by Ian H that one lined in left field BDI with a base hit Swanson Racing for third Davids trying for second and he’s in so good things happening for the Cubs two men in scoring position for Tomas Neato ground ball to short it’ll get the job done scoring on the play as Swanson the throw to first is in time Cubs lead four to two holding it second on the play David bod nicely done by Tomas nicoo at the plate up the middle and it gets through bod coming in to score Nico and RBI single and it’s 52 got an oldfashioned rally going on here yeah Christopher Sanchez just leaving the ball out and over the middle of the plate which he has not done all that much of this year this is a slider that stays in the middle and up in the zone five to2 here with one down in the top half of the fifth inning the middle Swanson diving play gets up and throws him out that is a gold glove play right there from Dansby Swanson man yeah with a burner going down the line roas one of the speedier guys in the league so Dansby had to do everything how quickly he gets to his feet and unloads this throw here’s O2 swing in a Miss Phillies go down in order here in the top of the fifth middle five the Cubs with a 5-2 lead over Philadelphia Bellinger then Suzuki and then ha the other way and a base hit he just punches it into left field left on left with two strikes you can’t stop Cody Bellinger that’s a little dribbler to third bone save at first say has got an infield hit third time today now the Cubs have had the first two reach turned into a big inning last inning whatever reason Christopher Sanchez just didn’t have it today his last three starts had allowed one earned run today a different story boy it was half effective three-run home run in the fourth High Fly ball right field that one on it way and forget it hap has done it again Ian hap breaks it open his second three-run Homer of the day and it is 82 yeah happy Fourth of July indeed one from each side of the plate well when’s the last time the CBS with had a big comfortable lead like this in the middle Innings jamion J need more good work here todaying to generate some early swings from these Philly hitters get some quick outs and Pitch as deeply into this game as he can here comes the two2 strike three called tyion Strikes Out D Phillies don’t score time for the seventh inning stretch Suzuki is on with one away half the batter let’s see if half can do it again and that one the other way it’s a fair ball down the line Half Racing for second Suzuki to third when you break your bat and you get a two- base hit you know it’s a good day for you make sure you get all the pieces of that bat we got to nail that baby back together that bat get Suzuki but able to Gun Down half sof single to right by wisdom they’re loaded with one down and the batter now is Cody Bell right side stopped to Turner the belly beats it out run scores 102 now two out here in the ninth inning the Cubs needed a ball game like this one two struck him out ball game Cubs win Cubs with an easy win on the fourth of July 10 to2 the final you always hope that a game like this will lead to many more just like it
