Still counting down the days until the season starts and the “being offended at only being top 3 in power rankings” threads stop.
It’s true. The Niners are so great that the Lions had to fuck up the NFC Championship game in order for the Niners to go to the Super Bowl. They barely beat the Packers and KC had already obliterated them at the end of the season.
We’ll see December 30th
I didn’t pay attention to their offseason, did they get better?
God we should’ve beat them…the narratives would be so much different if we could just close out a 24-7 lead…
How does San Francisco have a better running back room than we do? McCaffrey is among the best running backs I’ve ever seen but Detroit has Gibbs and Montgomery (plus Sione Vaki could be a hidden gem of the draft class). Detroit has a deep running back room.
I mean. A lot of ours is Potentially good. Especially defense. They Should be good. Jamon Should break out. But it Hasn’t been consistent. YET. RBS is the only one I’d fight hard over. We have TWO great backs. We can still run it out if one gets hurt. They are Screwed if he goes down. Right now we just have st brown while they currently have 2 great receivers. Yes Hutch is great but for now he’s the one that stands out. Reader will change that for sure so by the end of the season Lions will have that. But it’s just potential right now. Our LBs are decent but Fred Warner is a Beast. And of course our secondary has yet to play together so that might take time to gel, even if the Talent is better on our team.
I notice they don’t have QB on there lol.
I’m ok with this bc it’s one more chip on the teams shoulder, detroit vs everyone.
I think the combo of Gibbs and Montgomery is better than cmc
Lions have better RB, better O line, and now better secondary. They can keep the LB corps and DL for now, but that’ll change soon. See you week 17 whiners
