Quentin Musty Meets With The Media After The San Jose Sharks Prospect Scrimmage

you’re locked on sharks your daily podcast on the San Jose Sharks part of the locked on podcast Network your team every day how did you see it yeah I mean it’s probably more fun for the white team than us seeing them come back like that but yeah I mean it’s a it’s a great camp and you know anything can happen like that when you got guys like that on both teams that much skill and you know every game’s going to be a close one like that one so it was a lot of fun chemistry out there that kind of start last year death camp how easy it is toy the yeah I mean it’s I don’t want to say this but it’s pretty easy to you know play with a guy like that has you know that much skill and hockey IQ and yeah even I’ve played on a couple spring teams with them growing up and stuff and yeah always seem to you know have some good chemistry with him and yeah he’s just a lot of fun to play pretty easy to play with you seem to just continue to score the Hat birthday last year today sweet assist there what does it mean obviously last year was a good turnout just an extra added level of intensity out there what your feelings since this season compared to last season yeah it was great I mean the camp got you know better this year bringing in more high-end guys like that yeah it’s exciting seeing uh you know you know all the the prospects getting better and Prospect group getting better and you know hopefully next year it’ll be even better so yeah it’s lot lot of fun playing those game today was that sort of a tease of just how exciting might be to take passes from that guy in future yeah I mean a lot of fun playing with him and yeah pretty easy you just get open he’ll find you so a lot of fun the most St you take yeah you just try to learn I mean scrimmage is more of a fun kind of compete just trying to you know play your game out there but you know the whole week just uh taking in a lot of lot of highend you know coaching and you know staff here and just trying to learn from them and you know they went through it all so just trying to take in everything and you know get better even though it’s only a few starts yeah I mean it’s a lot of fun you get to meet a lot of new faces and uh you know some familiar ones and yeah just hanging out I mean hockey’s a pretty close community and a lot of guys I think every guy enjoys each other’s company and yeah it’s a lot of fun hanging out with these guys it’s cool to see kind of all the picks prospects come in you know from your draft Bo this year draft Bo you just see the core getting built bigger and bigger just kind of make you start looking to the Future two three years down the road we could all be in the NHL together yeah I mean obviously that’s the end goal you know I don’t think it’s not not an easy League to make and not an easy team to make so still got to keep working hard but yeah it’s fun seeing you know this high-end uh you know skill and you know IQ and just players coming in it’s fun to you know see them and play with them and you know get used playing with them yeah it was a lot of fun on the spot who had a better first pitch giant I mean Matt kind of just floated his in there I respected Smitty’s effort a little more was in the dirt maybe could have got a swing out of that one you never know I also wanted yesterday you guys had kind of a cooking challenge based on that who would you want to be your roommate with the sharks just based on the skills showed yesterday I think uh Halton was actually cooked up nice burger I think he won that part of the competition yeah he’s great kid as well fun to be around yeah looked like he was into it yesterday cooking so R out here thanks buddy [Music]
