last night and a move back there and he is back in that’s the third disengagement and the Rays will advance against these Runners Marsh lost track of how many disengagements now ground ball to short Whit with the pickup his plays at first and with that the Rays going to run how about it now Josh low with paradus seconded two out that’s lined into right center field going to be in there extra bases coming for low the run will score and it’s a standup double for Josh low so both walks are going to turn into runs and Tampa Bay leads two nothing in the first inning and that gets us to Taylor wall walls bounces it back up the middle Whit to his left behind second base Fields throws to First in time for the out and that ends the inning Zack Hein on the hill six shotout Innings this last time out against Washington in a 3-1 win last time though in this building he did not farewell and gave up five runs in three Innings and a loss Nick Loft in to begin bottom of the first swinging a ground ball wide a third and there is cabier to his left easily gather it in and throw to first for the first out one out nobody on and here is Bobby Whit Jr effin from the wind up and pitches has popped him up down the right field line low looks like he’s got it measured towards the foul line just a step onto the side warning track makes the catch two quick outs for Zack effin and that’ll leave it for Vinny pastino the Fly ball into right Josh low with plenty of room to put this one away pasquantino retired a seven pitch first inning for effin and now Johnny Dua Bing seven of the order leads off against Alec Mar and a shot down the line pretty well tagged is it fair it’s fair and gone out of here Duca lines a home run down that left field line and that will make it a three nothing ball game the Rays off to a quick start here tonight with an assist from Alec Marsh his lack of command the two runs scored in the first were both walks you got a full count he doesn’t want to walk the leadoff guy in the second inning so Johnny Dua is sitting on a fast ball which is what he got and he absolutely hammered here’s Ben work and the pitch lifted in the air Shadow left Center isbel got a late break wit going out wit tries to catch it over the shoulder and the ball drops it nicked his glove and dropped to the ground and I tell you what Whit covered some serious real estate out there to get that far from shorts out out into left center field I honestly thought he was going to catch the ball because he’s made so many spectacular plays during this series the troubles continue for marsh here’s Cavo pitch a little Tapper Third Base charg by Lofton up and out with the throw to get cabier and moving up to Second Ro back well they’re fortunate too that Lofton made such a nice play because cabier moves very well back to the top of the lineup CH Palos started the first with a walk scored a run and lines it into right on the first pitch that’s in there for a base hit Brad’s going to score digging for second Palos but he is out there Renfro got him on the throw to Bobby Whit Jr well Renfro has been known to be bble to do that he’s got a strong arm that’s a high shot deep into left all the way to the wall Melendez is going to be there and make the catch a towering Fly ball off the bat of parades caught base is empty one out Royals down four nothing brings up Michael Massie and that’s belted to right field into the corner gone number eight and Massie puts the Royals on the board in the second a solo shot in the bottom of the second and it’s now a 4-1 game some Fourth of July fireworks from Michael Massie hopefully more to come Rand La set to lead off here in the third inning it’s a shot right center field Renfro moving back and he’s going to have to play it off the wall now on his way to Second and they’re standing with the two base hit Randy roena up and in ball four there’s another walk and the Rays have the first to aboard first and second none out in the third already on top 4-1 and here’s Josh low with a chance to really blow this open for Tampa Bay and a swing and a miss and a strike out he could use that too that’s his first of the night all right let’s see if Taylor walls can get the ray a run here swing flyball left field MJ Melendez On The Run coming in and he will make the catch in left field Taylor walls is out number two it will be up to Johny Dela if the Rays had to take advantage of this opportunity and a little Looper into short Center that’s going to fall for a base hit Here Comes Lao into score moving up to second to Ros Arena and Duca has himself another run batted in the Rays pick up their fifth run of the night it’s 5 to one and the pitch and a swing a chopper back to Marsh snares it underhand toss to First nice play right there and he gets through three it hasn’t been easy Freddy F Meine leads off the third he shows bunny buns it up the third Bas side sliding stop by the pitcher sidearm throw offline and Freddy a lead off off bu single here in the third inning cutting the Miss on the reach right there the pitch wide he is out on strikes one on one out and now Nick Lofton who is Banning lead off tonight and grounded out to third in the first inning and a swing and a liner down the left field line over the leaping third basan cavier into the corner Freddy rounding second he’s to third bance Wilson will put up the stop sign a hard hit double down the left field line by Lofton and the Royals have him second and third one down so a big spot with one out in the bottom of the third Bobby flyed out to right in the first inning swing Fly ball the other way to right field Josh low is there to make the catch Freddy will tag here he comes home Lofton will tag as well he’ll advance so Bobby Wood Jr drives in his 57th run of the year with a sacrifice fly bringing home Freddy fine and the Royals are down three it’s now 5-2 and that’ll bring up Vinnie pasquantino under in third two down on the ground and through the right side he’s driven in 11 during the home stand his 57th of the year and the Royals are within two they’re down 53 three walks to start the inning well this is now six walks for Kanas City pitching and one strikeout tonight it’s miraculous that the Royals haven’t allowed more than five runs you you almost have to put up a crooked number this inning Now High Fly ball back into left field Melendez going back to make the catch a tag at third Brandon LA’s going to score and the Rays pick up run number six Johnny Duca takes off from first pitches a strike throw down not going to be in time a steal of second by Josh low so he gets in with a steal on the strike out of Duca Will Smith making his 31st appearance for the Royals signed as a free agent this offseason second and third two out and a fellow Lefty at the plate in Ben r r be H in right here comes a Ros Arena Josh low will cross the plate and a big big hit for the left-handed bat of B short bent right there and the Rays tack on two more and suddenly they’ve opened an 8 to3 lead a rare walk from effin and it’s a leadoff walk to Isbell brings up Bobby wit J Who’s 0 for one with a sacrifice flly tonight sliced down the Third Base Line Fair ball toward the left field corner is Bell around second Sprints to third Wilson holds him there and Bobby Whit Junior’s into second with a double another extra base hit for Bobby wit Jr 44 rbi’s at home includes Vinnie’s RBI single in the third inning breaking ball pulled up the first Baseline parus knocks it down with a glove takes it to the back himself his only play was at first and he makes it Isbell comes in to score from third and the Royals have cut the deficit to four high pfly into right field does Josh L see it in the Twilight he does not see it now he finds it goes to his left and makes the catch he lost it up in the purple Skies of Kansas City Lefty on Lefty here with louds a double in a walk two runs scored or an RBI single to Center even oh there’s a high shot back into deep right that’s going to send Renfro back he’ll run out of room and that Baby’s Gone Home Run for Brandon laau that’s number eight and the Rays tack on another run that will make it a nine to4 ball game Michael Homer in the second inning his eighth of the year he’s also flyed to Center swing and a chopper to the second baseman Palos he bobbles it and Massie safe at first the ball rolls into foul territory Massie sprinting for second throw down there is late that throw gets away from the cover man walls the short stop so Massie is at second base to lead off the inning an error on the second base and pus look like a routine PL and it’ll bring up rro and a swing and a little flare into right that’s going to drop for a hit Massie will be waved around third he’ll come in and score and the Royals are down 95 a little soft dunker into right and Massie had plenty time to come around third come in to score his second run of the night the Royals are within four Lawrence high schools Garrett cger comes into the game and appears for the 38th time this season the first time in this series Garrett hson on the year is hitting 274 as a pitch hitter will swing and hit it high in the air deep left Center Siri the center fielder going back he can make the play and it bounces up against the fence Hunter rro being waved around third the throw comes into third it’s offline rro scored and it’s a Pitch hit RBI double for Garrett hson off of Garrett Clevenger and the Royals are within three now it’s 9 to six now it’s Freddy fine still nobody out runner at second and that got him on the foot and the Royals will have two on with nobody out Michel Garcia is on Deck he’s going to bat for Kyle Isbell Runners break again and the pitch is popped into shallow Center coming in syri in a hurry he gets there to make the catch and the runners get back their first and second Jason Adam gets the call from the ray Bullpen with two men on one out Nick Lofton is the tying run grounded left side out at second and it’s going to get away and the Royals will get another run that’s a big play right there because if the Rays turn the double play Not only do they avoid giving up a run but that keeps Bobby Wood Jr from coming to the plate from the stretch deals and a breaking ball fly ball toward the alley in left Center that’s going to drop for a hit going first to third will be Lofton and the Royals have at the corners with two down and you’ve got exactly who you want coming to the plate in this spot breaks for second to throw down and he is out at second base rvat cuts down Bobby Whit Jr trying to steal they will not review a caught stealing Ben rfed to Taylor walls and and the Royals don’t get a chance with Vinnie pasquantino at the plate so a couple of two out two strike hits from cabier and Rosario and that brings up paradus the pitch swinging a line drive on the left it’s a base hit for ESO paradus rounding third coming home cabero heading two3 is Rosario RBI single ESO paradus the race with three consecutive hits after there were two out and nobody on and Tampa Bay has double digits they’re now up 107 in the seven two two pitch and a fast ball is called strike three got him looking he Strikes Out low but Tampa Bay puts up another run and now all of a sudden the Royals are down to their final out Obby Wht Junior steps to the righty batters box and Junior lines it into deep left field and the Royals are still breathing it’s 108 Bobby wi Jr breathes life into the cofman stadium crowd his 14th home run of the season brings the Royals within two Vinnie Pas quintino bats now the ground ball to the right side heredes will step on the bag and the Rays win this one a run in the ninth inning it’s a 108 final
