If we were just gunna waive Reed and give Highsmith the rest of our cap space, it woulda been done by now, no?
I’m genuinely excited for and really interested in seeing what Ricky Council IV brings off the bench this year. I also think he could learn a lot from PG.

Paul George is either going to love it here because it’s the best sports city he’s ever played in and play super hard or he’s going to come out nonchalant become public’s enemy #1 and crumble. I really can’t see a middle ground.
Feels like Morey is just going to wait things out a bit here which he has no problems doing and makes sense when you look at the free agent list. No superstars obviously left except maybe Derozan, but lots of quality bench/role players that can probably be had much cheaper than expected due to cap space quickly drying up around the league.
Guards – Gary Trent Jr, Malik Beasley, Lonnie Walker IV, Markelle Fultz, Spencer Dinwiddie, Cam Payne, Dennis Smith Jr, Kyle Lowry, Tyus Jones
Bigs – Mike Muscala, Precious Achuiwa, Danilo Gallinari, Marcus Morris, Dario Saric, Daniel Theis
Split the $9 mill by trading/waiving Reed and splitting it between two of these guys and then sign two or three of them on minimums and you have your squad.
