  1. Put the Spurs in any of these “reports” and you will get clicks just due to the Wembanyama affect. Spurs will be showing “interest” for any and everyone.

  2. Juuust because we have cap space and assets, we get tied to any and nearly all potential trades. I don’t see this happening

  3. Neutral defender, not that good off-ball, also 3PT has dipped recently.

    Also AmicNoooooooo

  4. Nah, he’s nice but he’s going to want a max and I don’t think the spurs do that.

  5. As always, it’s all about price. He’s a good player, but he’s not a special player. He’s expiring, and wants to get an enormous new contract.

He scores with league average efficiency, in part because almost half of his shots come outside 10 feet, but inside the arc. He’s an okay passer, but not really elite. And midrange jumper merchants just aren’t super-duper valuable if they’re not a primary creator. He is a pretty good finisher, but the last 4 seasons only 14% of his shots have come at the rim. And while he’s not a horrible defender, he’s definitely been a minus defender in his career.

So like, do you really want that guy on a 30% max? Do you want to pay Brandon Ingram 52 million dollars a year?

And do you want to give up assets to pay him twice as much as Devin Vassell for the next 4 years? Because I don’t.

  6. This is just getting stupid now. Agents are clearly throwing our name into everything to drum up interest

  7. Next rumor spurs show interest in signing Jesus. They just throwing out their name in everything.

  8. BIG NO to Ingram

    he is overrated SF

too injury prone and need the ball also

I rather keep Sochan than get Brandon Ingram

  9. Yeah these trade rumors are actually so annoying now I remember when I wanted people to talk about the spurs. I take it back

  10. When did we become the Dallas Cowboys. We were linked to every draftee, now were linked to every player in the NBA.

  11. I mean I wouldn’t be against it but for a low price. He isn’t worth a max imo

  12. I know this all just click bait but if either DeRozan or Ingram come to SA I will move to San Antonio and buy season tickets

  13. The more often the Spurs are “interested” without getting a deal the more I think they’re on some Danny Ainge “ok you give me Jokic and you get 2 second rounders, Malaki Branham and I’ll pick you up a double cheeseburger the next time you’re in San Antonio”

  14. Brandon Ingram is one of those dudes that has good stats, then you watch him and you’re like oh he hasn’t really improved at all in 6 years.
