  1. The grit Chucky brings is not easy to put into words. Hockey lifers have “it”.

He took that “it” to Sunrise and we’ve ridden on his back (not from a stat standpoint) and had the edge we’ve needed for so long.

This image will always stand out from our Cup run…..sacrifice, no matter how down you are.

  2. Sitting in the stands I knew it was close but it wasn’t until I got home and watched the replay about a dozen times (especially the view from in the net) that I first realized how insane that was. Especially considering when Chucky first got on his horse not being the fastest skater. There wasn’t enough time for it to really matter but he just never freaking quits.

  3. One of the greatest plays in hockey to amount to nothing. If you guys had come the other way to tie it, it would have been the greatest highlight in NHL history. I say it amounted to nothing but I mean within that game, obviously he got the last laugh. Nothing but respect for your organization as an Oilers fan. Well deserved championship

  4. One of the most fantastic things I’ve ever seen and I don’t care that mcdavid scored right after. To say fuck it I’m not giving up no matter WHAT it takes… ugh one of the many reasons I love Chucky forever

  5. The effort is unreal and the fact that the puck couldn’t be closer to the goal line just adds to the jaw dropping nature of this play.

  6. This is why we didn’t lose.

Don’t give up. Keep going. Personified.

and yeah he was -7 for the series. Eyes on the Prize and voila, one Cup win.

  7. This and Montour celebrating the short handed goal against Boston in Marchand face are the highlights of the playoffs

  8. Random but anyone else notice that the jerseys the players wear the white on the sleeves connect to the white on the torso?

All my Adidas prime green authentic jerseys don’t do that lol
