  1. I’m gonna need Franz to give me a small loan 😂.

Well deserved, I can’t wait to see how the next half decade plays out.

  2. he’d have to make all nba next year to get 270. once his extension kicks in expectations will have changed, hope he finds his shot again!

  3. This is why we weren’t more agressive going after other team’s stars.

  4. We’re just not used to seeing these numbers associated with the Magic. If he works his jumper out and ups that 3 point percentage like we know he can then he’s worth every dollar. Let’s go Magic!!

  5. well deserved!! knew he was max player despite the shooting woes last year, dude works his ass off and will continue to get better

  6. This is normal now for any up and coming players. If you don’t pay them, another team will be more than happy to. Suggs will probably get 200 mil.

  7. This is the price you pay when you draft a player that quickly shows that he has star potential.

    #Good problems

The comforting thing about Paolo and Franz is that not only do they have all the god given tools to be stars but they are both of the character that they will do everything they can to reach their potential.

They are mature, hard working, intelligent and their lives revolve around basketball.

  8. It’s big money, but this is the new NBA. This is the franchise making a statement that they are going to take care of their own players.

  9. Good to see the organization paying good players instead of trading them for garbage. Finally

  10. There is so much expectation now. You can’t have extended slumps with that kind of money. You can’t go invisible in the playoffs. You’ve got to be expected to make big shots. He’s clearly the 2nd best player on the team and we aren’t gonna be lottery lucky any time soon.

With him and Paolo and the supporting cast, we are going to be that middle of the pack playoff team every year for the next several years. That’s the spot where you are good enough to make the playoffs comfortably and not bad enough to have good lottery picks. So we are banking on everyone getting better and us moving from the middle to that top tier in the east.

  11. Good news – Wagner can be a 25/5/5 player in the future on great splits

Bad news – post all-star he scored under 16 a game and shot 30/20% in the 4 games in Cleveland when they needed him the most

  12. He is our Jaylen Brown. Next year is Paolo! Just like Brown and Tatum. The future is bright!

  13. Yep, sounds about right.

The market was set with the Scottie Barnes deal, then Cade got it too.

  14. love franz but if he keeps shooting like shit on high volume like he did last year ? man I hope last year was a fluke

  15. If you want to know what yoeyz has to say just scroll down to the bottom of the post.

  16. We’re so fucked. I know it had to be done, but this guy is now being paid like a top 15 player when he’s in reality top 40-50.
