  1. Said before the game he was gonna throw a no hitter. He got damn close, and was brilliant!

  2. So happy for Steele finally getting a win he’s put up great numbers all year

  3. That’s my ace! Steele is proof that pitcher W/L is a bs stat, well deserved win for him!

  4. What a performance from Justin Steele. He was so excited after he got the complete game. I like that he wanted to get the baseball after the game. Very happy for him

  5. No matter what happens, we’ll always have April and July 4-5th

  6. Steele absolutely deserved that. Got the team fired up in Milwaukee last week, finally showing some life and fire, and then comes out and pitches a CG for his first W (!) of the season. Cy Steele!

  7. Get to hang the flag today. I don’t live in Illinois and I found out recently some of my neighbors thought it was some sort of surrender flag and even though I explained it to them, I didn’t want to put it up on July 4th.

(it doesn’t help that my MAGA neighbor has some other flag choices that might have got people going down the wrong path on the W flag)

  8. So glad I got to attend one of the most fun and relaxing wins of the year.

Also, 1-0 as a fan this year.. who’s buying me tickets? /s

  9. Awesome to see Justin dominate a trash team with a complete game win today. Perhaps the Cubs can put together a little win streak against the Angels this weekend

  10. That might have been the most enjoyable baseball game experience I’ve ever had. We scored 2 in the first, never trailed, Steele threw a complete game in under 100 pitches. 79 degrees and sat in the shade behind home plate. 10/10 would recommend.

  11. We are without a doubt one of the top 30 hottest teams in baseball right now.

  12. Being at both the Stroman CGSO last year and now the Steele CG has been so much fun.

  13. Cliff out here defending seiya. Good job. Rf is n wrigley is tough

  14. I was at Wrigley yesterday and today…and was late for both games. I’m afraid to get there on time tomorrow…but I want my Steele bobblehead!
