Steele absolutely deserved that. Got the team fired up in Milwaukee last week, finally showing some life and fire, and then comes out and pitches a CG for his first W (!) of the season. Cy Steele!

Get to hang the flag today. I don’t live in Illinois and I found out recently some of my neighbors thought it was some sort of surrender flag and even though I explained it to them, I didn’t want to put it up on July 4th.
(it doesn’t help that my MAGA neighbor has some other flag choices that might have got people going down the wrong path on the W flag)

Awesome to see Justin dominate a trash team with a complete game win today. Perhaps the Cubs can put together a little win streak against the Angels this weekend
That might have been the most enjoyable baseball game experience I’ve ever had. We scored 2 in the first, never trailed, Steele threw a complete game in under 100 pitches. 79 degrees and sat in the shade behind home plate. 10/10 would recommend.
We are without a doubt one of the top 30 hottest teams in baseball right now.
Being at both the Stroman CGSO last year and now the Steele CG has been so much fun.
