  1. Funny thing is we have evidence that he’s right. Outside of Judge & Soto every single player that comes here regressed at the plate AND in the field AND on the base paths. You are lying to yourself if you think he’s wrong.

  2. You can say we shouldn’t hire Teacherman because he’s a douchebag, but I raise you this: I and many others here have spent their entire lives with Brian Cashman as the GM. That shit means nothing to me

  3. Schenck is not regarded with much respect by legitimate professionals in the industry in spite of being associated with one of the greatest hitters we’ve seen in recent memory. Boone and the Yankees are hardly the first to disregard his thoughts and opinions

  4. Boone isn’t the guy who should be answering those questions or under fire for it

  5. Boone has a bright future as a VP, corporate communications for some dipshit financial services company

  6. Ted fucking Williams could come back and try to teach these guys and they would still suck ass because the organization is rotten

  7. Boones right. They gotta right the ship and everyone is going to talk about how bad you are until you aren’t but will be the first to talk about how amazing you are when you win. It’s the toxic nature of the sport. Ignore the noise, focus on baseball, be better.

  8. I will say this about Aaron Boone: he has a first-class temperament.

I don’t particularly like his on-field decisions, but he is a solid human being.

  9. If Yankees player dev is so bad, why do teams keep trading with the Yankees? And then the prospects usually end up not being much or worse elsewhere. I’m not crying over Blake Rutherford.

  10. We live in a time where you cannot speak the truth. If you see something terrible and you have to say it’s great. If you tell the truth you get attacked for being insensitive or disrespectful.

  11. >You can’t get all consumed with that stuff.”

Maybe you should Aaron, considering nearly every year you have been manager the lineup goes through month-long slumps and multiple hitting coaches have been fired under your watch.
