We’re trading Brook Lopez for a draft pick??

so reports are coming out that the Bucks are shopping Brook Lopez and they are needing a first round pick in return and before I get into my thoughts and I’ve got a few mock trades that I’ve created that include a first round pick coming back to the Bucks I do want to let yall know 10:30 a.m. eastern time July 6 tomorrow morning I’m going to be streaming uh Greece national team Giannis going up against Luca and Slovenia um on this channel so subscribe if y’all want to see that um yeah hit that notification Bell and we’ll be talking bucks all that good stuff tomorrow morning anyway so the Bucks are looking for a first round pick in return for Brook Lopez and personally if there was somebody that was really looking to move it would be Bobby poris for me but if you have tried that and teams don’t really have any interest in him I’m open to moving uh Brook Lopez if we get a good return and so I made some new uh new trade scenarios that would include a first round pick coming back to the Bucks and I just want to hear from y’all what y’all think would be the best uh one in return I’ll give you my when it comes up but we’re starting with the team that comes to my mind most when I think of teams that really could use Brook Lopez and that would be the Kings they’re a team that has given up a lot to be good now in terms of that really just that uh H Burton trade going for from halberton to sabonis that kind of puts pressure on them to start winning and they’ve kind of continued to make moves that points that that’s where they want to go and so getting a big man would be huge for them a team that likes to shoot thre so Brook Lopez would be great that’s been one of the best offenses but but one of the worst defenses he’d be a he’d be huge for them improving their defense protecting the rim when other guys make mistakes and then offensively he fits perfectly with what they do so I think that would make sense and the first one I have made up is Kevin herder for Brook Lopez herder could come onto the Bucks be the starting two or he might even he’s still young enough to where he could have value that you could use him in a further trade I think it would be a good asset to acquire if you get him with a first round pick coming up I wouldn’t be mad at this is one I’d be like h we’ll see how it goes if I’m uh for me personally I think moving off from a 36-year old Center if you could get a playable piece and a first- round pick makes sense so I wouldn’t be mad at it it would be just one that i’ have to see where it goes and then the other uh possibility would be Harrison Barnes it kind of just depends who the Kings would want to give up more this maybe would help a little bit more now just providing a little bit more size get losing a seven-footer um and haris bars might still be slightly better than Kevin herder but uh he’s much older I’d Pro I’d prefer to get Kevin herder but maybe this is what the Kings would want to give up that would be another possibility if we made a move with the Kings but next up for the possibilities would be the Lakers that’s the team that’s been the most heavily uh thrown out there as a rumor that they want Brook Lopez I brought up AAR Reeves before doubt that happens I kind of like this one more than the Kings I’m not a big ruy hamura guy but I’d prefer him to Harrison Barnes to me he’s like a younger Harrison Barnes and jayen Hood Chino is a guy that I actually liked coming into the draft last year point guards usually take a little time to develop so the the fact that he didn’t get minutes last year isn’t a massive um red flag to me so to get a guy uh going into his second year with potential and then get a first round pick for the Lakers especially if you get it like two years from now that could end up being really valuable who knows where the Lakers are going from right now so I would not mind this trade at all right now for the bucks and then we’ve got the Rockets right here another team that would make a lot of sense they’ve been um looking to make big trades happen they might be in the uh market for a bigger piece like a Brandon Ingram but even right here jock Landell Jan Tate and AJ Griffin for Brook Lopez I like AJ Griffin a lot I like him more than Jay chafino he’s another guy that just hasn’t really had the opportunity yet I think he could come in and help the Bucks and then if not a first round pick from the Rockets wouldn’t be the end of the world maybe you could get a better asset um from them because they have so many good young players but this is just something to think about and then next we’ve got the Pelicans probably another team that I think makes some of the most sense for book Lopez and I’ve heard people talk about herb Jones I’m sorry it’s not happening and I’ve heard people talk about Brandon Ingram I’m sorry it’s not happening for Brook Lopez I really doubt it this one seems to make more sense you get CJ McCullum not my favorite guy but a guy that would D would love to have and as a starting two that would make this bucks offense quite a problem with Dame CJ Chris Middleton and Giannis and then Mei could even potentially be the starting center he’s a guy that seems NBA ready and just in terms of Rim protection defense and if that was the other starters that all you would need is that defense and so I think that would make sense as a guy that you throw into the deal and then these young guys are really just to make the salary work and um this would be the only trade where you’re able to get off of Pat conon so I think that’s something that Bucks fans really want to do so that would be another Plus for the bucks you get off Pat Hon’s contract you get a guy that Dame likes another high level score that could be your fourth option um at times he’s been a second option on good playoff teams so I think that would be a pretty solid move for the Bucs even though I’m not the biggest CJ McCollum guy so those are all my mock trades for Brook Lopez overall I’m not desperate to move Brooke um I think for this year I wouldn’t do any of those trades if this was my only focus was this year but you can’t have just a one-year window you need to have a wider window and I don’t think any of those trades would um significantly hurt or kill the Bucks chances to win a championship this upcoming season some of them could actually improve the Bucks this year and all of them if you get a first round pick gives you the opportunity to improve either at the trade deadline later this offseason or maybe
