  1. Compared to Dodgers we are

    AMATEUR HOUR.

Especially offensively. Shit the bed 80% of the game.

  2. This is going to be another game they just don’t have a ump scorecard for…

  3. Can’t lose a game scoring 5 runs off the Dodgers ace, and Ohtani goes 0-5. Especially with facing a leftie tomorrow and Keuchel on Sunday. The bullpen is actually really hurting right now almost everyone has had a poor road trip. Need the Nationals to help us because you can’t give the Cardinals life at the division before the break. All you need is 1 in this series but we haven’t won in this stadium in forever and I hate it so much. Also we used almost the entire “A” bullpen today and lost so we have that against us too.

  4. The umps were bad, yes, but it’s extremely hard to win when you get only 1 hit outside of the 4th inning, and give up 3 dingers to the same guy and 10 hits overall.

    Did the umps hurt? Yes.

Are they responsible for the loss? Despite what this sub will say, no.

  5. If the Brewers and Dodgers each win a game, it’ll be the first three way series tie after the umps took game one.

  6. This is my fault. I drove out of town to watch the game with a buddy 🙁

    I hate baseball

(I can’t wait to watch it again tomorrow)

  7. No sir…I didn’t like it

Also my vote is for the clown face because of the grand slam

  8. Wasted opportunity and getting jobbed out by the Umps.

    Just don’t get swept.

  9. Painful loss.

    1. Wasted a Hoskins grand slam.
    2. Wasted a 5-2 lead off Glasnow.
    3. Ump was horrific in the 8th and 9th.
    4. Regardless of ump, you cannot afford to give up 2 runs after scoring 5. You just can’t. It will kill you every time against this lineup.
    5. Peguero is not good enough to be put in tie games. Need an effective Devin back.
    6. lol will smith.

  10. I could have sworn this was an NBA game with the number of superstar calls.

  11. Probably not a good sign when the Dodgers make smashing our best bullpen arms look that easy, but that’s statistically the best part of our team so I’m not even sure how much we can really do about that to ensure it’s less of a problem if we face them in the postseason.

  12. Fun game. Then the ump decided to alter the strike zone in the dodgers favor at the end. Freddy gets an extra strike on a pitch on the black. Garret gets a ball 6inches outside called a strike. That’s just how it’s goes with today’s umps. Good news is when playing field was fair we hung with em. I like our odds against those chokers in the playoffs.

  13. We seem to lose a lot of games to teams we would likely face in the playoffs…

  14. Can it be all star break? It’s hard to watch the crew right before the break.

  15. Im to the point where I think there is some rigging and some really big favortism in the MLB with the umpires.

If the last inning ( Bottom of the 8th called a ball vs Freddy ) and then turn around to the top of the 9th and the one that stands out is the called strike on Mitch on pitch #2 that was way out of the zone being called a strike.

What gets me is that the ump was so consistent for both teams until a critical moment which resulted in the Dodgers breaking it open.

I am just tired of getting our asses whipped by these umps. Its really bad this season. Brewers are I think second in all of baseball for calls that hurt them vs other teams.

It does not really matter what the offense or pitching could have or should have done. Your fighting a force that pretty much decides if your going to win or not.

  16. Do umpires sleep at night? Do they have a conscience? “Umpires” sounds too close to “vampires”. I have seen them making bad calls during the afternoon, so they must be daywalkers, but I think their eyesight is poor, like their bat kin they shape-shift into. Currently researching. Vampires are evil, umpires are evil, coincidence?

  17. I’m just saying, if we’re STRUGGLING to win games against potential playoff opponents, then our asses will be kicked out of the Wildcard spot in an INSTANT. The offense HAS TO WAKE THE FUCK UP. I’m not even joking. 1 inning of offense is not going to cut it against teams like the Dodgers or Phillies

  18. Remember when our bullpen was so good we hardly noticed we were missing the Airbender?

  19. And of course Cardinals and their bullshit voodoo are all of a sudden 5 games back

  20. Was a good game until it wasn’t.

Will Smith got buffed by Gawr Gura I guess.
