UPDATE: Blue Jays May LOSE Vladdy & Bichette…

this is the cherry on top of what has not only been a horrible season for the Blue Jays but a horrible way of managing your young core we have heard from industry experts about the blue jay’s plans at this upcoming trade deadline as well as their plans with Bo bashet and Vladimir Guerrero Jr and based on the way that they have handled these two young players so far they are absolutely screwing up their chances of extending either of them for the long term what’s up everybody and welcome back to Blue Jays today in this one we’re going to be covering the latest extension talks around Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Bob bashet and how the front office has managed to screw up potentially signing back one or both of them before we get into it guys I encourage you to hit that like button and smash that subscribe button if you enjoy Blue Jay’s news and content when Guerrero and bashet first arrived in Toronto the front office and many fans envisioned these two guys as being the future of the Blue Jays for the Long Haul and in their first full seasons in 2021 that duo became Allstars bichette led the entire league in hits while vlat he led the entire league in home runs and was second in MVP votes and while it was super exciting to watch both of these guys blossom into Allstars and MVP type players there was doubt whether the Blue Jays could realistically afford to extend both of these players because after those two great Seasons their value has never been higher so Ross Atkins and Mark shapire decided to wait to see if those two guys would actually be worth the dollar amounts that they were commanding at the time and so they decided to wait and they waited and they waited and they waited and they waited and they continued to push off any extension conversations and that’s where the Blue Jays screwed up big time and while waiting to extend them may have decreased their value from 2021 it caused an entirely new problem both Bo and Vlad are only one and a half years away from free agency and they’re beginning to smell the free agency money and because of that the extension conversations have all come to a stop John heon says in a New York Post article word is past long-term negotiations with both Stars never came to a close agreement and folks who know the pair believe the Jays have little to no chance to lock up bashet and maybe only a slightly better chance with Guerrero the only reason why the Blue Jays even have a chance with Guerrero to begin with is because Guerrero has said that he’s open to an extension in 2022 vlat said to Hector Gomez I am open to signing a long-term deal with the Blue Jays I feel really happy playing here I hope something can be done about it this offseason and of course the Blue Jays did nothing that off season now that’s not to say that vlat won’t be extended this off season or hell even when he’s a free agent but who knows what kind of budget the other MLB teams might have for vlat if he hits the free agent Market but bashet on the other hand seems like he is ready to move on from the Blue Jays entirely especially after his recent comments about him potentially being traded away from the Toronto Blue Jays seemingly having no sympathy about that transaction so it leaves the Blue Jays in a really awkward and uncomfortable position do you trade away vlat and bashet at the trade deadline to recoup any value or do you stick with both of those players for one last run in 2025 with the risk of losing both of them well Bob Nightingale said in a recent article that the Blue Jays still want to make one last run with Vladimir Gro Jr and Bo bashet they should be staying until at least this winter if not next summer time for a quick shout out to betway betway is the best place to make all of your sports bets on all of your favorite teams betway is also in collaboration with igaming Ontario must be 19 years older to participate and guys please bet responsibly now back to the content so let me get this straight the Blue Jays think it is best to keep both Bo and Vlad on a roster that has proven to not be playoff caliber for 2025 have them potentially walk after that season get little to no value in return only to sink your franchise into an even longer rebuild after that year yeah that sounds like a front office that is royally Fed Up in my opinion looking at the roster right now it is time to plan Beyond 2025 and based on the way vlat is playing you have to sign that guy back for the next window of this blue jays team and you have to look to see if you can get any trade value from a guy like bashet but that’s just my opinion guys you let me know your opinion in the comments down below thank you so much for watching and as always guys go ch’s go

The Toronto Blue Jays front office is at it again. The new word from MLB insiders are the Toronto Blue Jays have “little to no chance” on extending either one of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. How on earth did they allow themselves to get into this position? Let’s talk about it.

  1. At this point who cares about Ross Atkins anymore he is a waste of a GM .
All they care about is $$$ for stadium and buying on the cheap

The Jays are doomed as long as this front office is in place
10 under .500 / 9.5 out of wildcard , the division lol might as well be 30

  2. I don't think they're extending Vlad. They've never even brought anything to him previously and now that they're crap they will trade him to rebuild I think. But to trade he and Bichette is insane, those are the only 2 stars the Jays have outside Springer. This will go back to the couple years when Smoak was their best and most popular player LOL ANd eric Soguard was their best hitter.

  3. Indecisiveness on the part of management is sinking the franchise both on the field and in the stands. In the standings, they're closer to a #1 lottery pick than reaching the playoffs. If they trade Vlad, good luck trying to attract free agents. I'd try to sign Vlad now and trade Bo.

  4. Watching Toronto makes me want to throw my phone in anger I miss double a Ross needs to go as well with Schneider he can’t manage the bullpen because he keeps putting the worst bullpen pitchers in close games I know the whole bullpen beside a few have been bad but John can’t put someone with a six era in a one run game

  5. Not extending Vlad and Bo was literally the best move the front office made during at least the last 3 years

If they received star money, this team would be cooked… There’s no shot Bo or Vlad are worth what they would’ve gotten paid (Vlad deserves maybe 140 for 6 years and Bo right now is worth no more than 20M but peak Bo is worth about the same as Vlad)… Theyve done nothing but prove they aren’t the guys so extending them and going on a useless search for the true number 1 piece

With Vlad and Bo as the headliners, 2022 is the peak if everything else goes well… 92 wins, no shot at the division, no shot in the playoffs… I’m not hoping for another outlier 2021 season, it’s clear that’s not who these players are

  6. Bo & Vlad only getting 5 or 7 year contracts not 10. Not in Rogers to give out 10 year contracts. Until they get contracts Bo & Vlad are still on the cheap. I don't care what kinds of returns there are for them two its not enough. Put them through the grinder see what their worth is. Still have next season the best trade is no trade if its for Bo or Vlad.

  7. So long as Jays fans keep showing up on Tuesdays to stuff their faces with cheap hotdogs, and keep buying every hideously ugly jersey that gets thrown at them, do you really think this organization cares about winning? They'll probably let them both walk, and Vlad, at least, will haunt them for fifteen years.

  8. There may need to be an MLB investigation on Sabotage. Our front office cannot be this corrupt. I believe they are attempting to sabotage

  9. Bo was asked would he be surprised if he was traded. His answer is no……That is the most honest answer I've heard in a while. He's basically telling you that he's having a sh%tty season and nobody with a sh%tty season should ever be surprised if they're traded. A very blunt and honest answer. No where in that statement do I hear " I don't want to be here anymore"…..So I don't really know what the Hell you're talking about when you say he doesn't want to be here……

  10. I've said it from the beginning …..vladdy and bo are a packaged deal….I would like to see vladdy go south to a national team….vlad will win mvp someday imo….

  11. Keep bo and trade vladdy, then trade bo next year. Vlad has done well as of late, so his value hasnt tanked. If vlad had the effort to go along with his talent, hed be putting up judge numbers. Too bad he doesnt have the drive.
Trading bo now is to sell low. If hes in a fresh year with a payday to chase, he might just play well enough to raise his trade value back to where it should be.

  12. Honest to God, how many times are you gonna troll us with this clickbait. Every other day, Vlad is going, Vlad is staying…..blah blah f@$king blah. Unsubscribing now, bye.
