  1. Positives from today’s Cleveland baseball:

Kid on the family deck ran up to the front rails, holding his bobble head box and his recently obtained “first visit to Progressive Park” diploma. The joy on this child’s face as he looked out onto the field for the first time is why this sport is so great.

Lieutenant “Run Support” Allen took the mound, and got the support he needed, along with a great performance. Allen went 4.1IP, 3H, 0R, 4BB, and 9K on 86 pitches. Perhaps not in the stats, but definitely another quality start for our lefty.

WILL BE EDITED SHORTLY Offense has bats, and the crowd supported them with some nice MVP chants for Kwan. The bats get 0 runs off of 0 hits and 0 walks.

    Bullpen WILL BE EDITED SHORTLY

Holy shit Lake County. Dayton may be one of the most popular minor league teams, but LC smoked them yesterday with a 20-1 victory. Everybody had at least one hit with 3 players having multi hit games, including Alex Mooney going 4/4 with a home run, two doubles, a walk, and a LC record by scoring 6 times in the game. Cooper Ingle went 3/4 with a home run and two walks, and as typing this I just realized every single player had a walk for a team total of 12… DAYUM.

    Division magic number: 69

    Playoffs magic number: 66

First round bye magic number: 66

    BONUS STATS AND MUSINGS:

Jhonkensy Noel hit the ball 1,114 feet today.

  3. Need the Rockies to beat up on Lugo tonight to help the Clase Cy Young agenda

  4. It’d be really cool to have like six different pitches to fool batters, but the fact that Clase is the best closer in the game with just two dominant pitches is so badass

  5. Alright we evened the series!!! Let’s win it tomorrow and get revenge against the Giants!

  6. My girlfriend just commented as Jhonkensy was running off the field that he’s gonna be a star after seeing his homerun and how big his ass is. I hope she’s right.

  7. Update from Cbus: Rodriguez just smacked a homer that bounced off the building in left

  8. I couldn’t imagine saying this six months ago, but Hunter Gaddis should absolutely make the all-star team.

  9. Why did I see people shitting on Vogt God in the game thread? We’re crushing it this year lets just be hppy bbyplz

  10. Comment apropos of nothing but I like the beard on our translator. And go Guards.

  11. Jhonk needs to be an every day player! No one else in the platoon offers even close to the same power and game changing potential.

  12. When a team is struggling to win consistently, like the Guardians have….

Boy is that SFR feed stupid.

  13. Anyone see what Logan had to say after the game? He looked very upset getting pulled.

  14. I want to have a stroke every time absolute dumbasses on Twitter ask Andre why guys like Rocchio or Noel use an interpreter even though they speak English occasionally.

Like fuck it makes you remember how stupid people can be
