Kid on the family deck ran up to the front rails, holding his bobble head box and his recently obtained “first visit to Progressive Park” diploma. The joy on this child’s face as he looked out onto the field for the first time is why this sport is so great.
Lieutenant “Run Support” Allen took the mound, and got the support he needed, along with a great performance. Allen went 4.1IP, 3H, 0R, 4BB, and 9K on 86 pitches. Perhaps not in the stats, but definitely another quality start for our lefty.

Holy shit Lake County. Dayton may be one of the most popular minor league teams, but LC smoked them yesterday with a 20-1 victory. Cooper Ingle went 3/4 with a home run and two walks, and as typing this I just realized every single player had a walk for a team total of 12… DAYUM.
