I know you’ve been waiting to see that kind of offensive explosion for a long time to see it happen but also particularly for so many young guys contributing to that um how special is that to you it was it was awesome yo look after what happened last night they see come bounce back today and do what they did uh that says a lot about the character of these guys and our young players man you know they’re hungry you know they they want to play they want to play baseball so uh I was very proud of the way we came out today and uh and hit the baseball really um yeah we could have came back today and been with this kind of been lethargic but they came out ready ready to Swing Swing the bats and uh you know Lance Lyn is a retan guy that’s been pitching really well you know so um kudos to our players for to going out there and scoring first scoring early and continue to to put some runs on the board you talked about a little bit but why do you feel like yesterday’s result and just the past couple weeks in general didn’t carry over to today these gu like I said they they you know they’re instill and Brad just just put it past them you know we don’t we don’t dwell on on the bad things we just try to stay positive here and these guys are have been really good about that hey forget about it it’s over let’s come back today and go one and0 home the first pit he knows he can drive how much can that also spark an offense and get things going yeah when he gets when he gets a pitch he can he can hit um you know it’s the first pitch the third pitch whatever um you know he he he jump started us right then and there so our BK were really good you know we we we we didn’t chase as much uh we got the ball in the zone um everybody make made good contact today always talk about potential but a special player like James would I mean be able to do what he did today you know in this situation finally get some extra base hits and they’re very impactful hits yeah very I mean um like you said he got the big home run for us and then the double uh when they started making a comeback you know so um he had he had some good days I mean he’s look he’s been playing really well since he’s been here so uh I love his at bats he’s very patient he’s trying to get the ball in the zone which we talked to him about you know since spring training um so he’s doing well Mckenzie was so crisp the first two innings gets a huge lead what do what do you think happened after that you know I think one you know he lost um his fast ball a little bit you know I mean he fell behind uh nine hitters seven seven of got on base uh he had a 40 44 pitch inning um after that in that heat I think uh I I think he got he just got gassed a little bit so um it was hot you know and he had through that many pitches you know we tried to stretch him out because our Bullpen has been beat up um but you know you know hick and I just said he can’t go no more you know so um look you know I’m going to talk to him tomorrow tell him hey forget about this one um let’s get get ready for for five days from now J you talked about on the day he got called up like trying to not be a fan um how did you process that home run today that was good I wasn’t a fan I was trying to win a game um but is that bad was really good to stay on the ball hit the ball the other way for his first home run uh was awesome his a little bit this month obviously triple cycle today what were you see as at best just as appro yeah right now he’s just real quiet with his legs you know he’s staying staying behind and and really trying to hit the ball with his hands um Lou is doing the same thing you know so um Darnell I know Darnell and CJ are working really hard with those guys to stay you know just stop jumping at the ball let the ball come to them just really hit the ball with their hands so and they’ve had so far they’ve had a good week it gets kind of lost in the but for those three relievers to be able to get you through the rest of the game give everyone else the day off how much difference does that make oh it was great I mean Jacob came in did his job Williams came came in and did did his job and uh and then uh rainy threw the ball really well you know got quick outs there so um it it was huge for our Bullpen you know hopefully tomorrow our Bullpen is ready to go um you know and hopefully our starting pitching could go a little deeper in the game today was Trey’s first day back kind of what how did you uh evaluate his overall yeah he looked good he hit the ball hard you know three or four times so um but he looked really good out there you know so like I said he’s going to get now’s his time you know and I talked to him earlier today he’s going to play Third Base you know I’ll do some days where I give him off um but I want I want to play him I want to play him over there you know most most there every day and see what he can do
