Isn’t Tumpane the guy from Latrobe that talked the guy trying to jump off the bridge down a few years back?
How is it +1.1 for NYM when one wrong call literally cost us a full run. And it’s crazy that the top 2 pitches came in the highest leverage at-bat in the game.
Hate to see it. But there is no bias out there against the pirates.. the umps just generally suck. Pirates have had plenty of favorable calls for them too over the season. Good teams put themselves in position to where a couple bad balls/strike calls shouldn’t impact the game.
So the ump was overall pretty avg except he struggled when the moment got big which honestly sucks cause it basically means you can’t expect him to be consistent when a big moment comes up in a game and you don’t know what the call is gonna be
