He looked totally defeated out there. You could see it. He was probably afraid he blew it for the last time. Has to be stressful.
They should put some alternatives for anger release in the dugout like stress balls or bubble wrap
what a fucking idiot.. just pull a krod and punch ur father in law no hand breaking going on there
They never learn
Maybe punch with your non pitching hand?
His train of thought somehow reached “better not to do this with my pitching hand” without proceeding to “better not to do this at all”
If you know you’re about to get DFAed this is actually pretty smart
Players who do stupid shit like this should have to go without pay for the entire time they’re on the IL.
There should be a section of the dugout that is lined with layers of bubble wrap. Bad inning? You get to the bubble wrap section of the dugout and start punching away. Each punch is accentuated with the sweet sound of bubble wrap pops. As you start to get it out of your system, you sit down on the bubble wrapped bench and keep scooting down until youve been popped back into the right frame of mind.
One franchise’s conditioning team is going to revolutionize the sport by replacing the walls in the dugout with giant cushioned pads.
I keep telling young men, stop hitting shit thats hard. If you MUST punch something, go punch something that wont break your hand (this does not include living things). If you break your hand punching something you wont be any less pissed, but now what you’ll be pissed about is entirely your fault
Reminds me of Amare Stoudemire vs the Heat back in like 2011 lol. Dude punched a fire extinguisher or something in the locker room after losing a playoff game.
Why do people get in fights with walls? No one has beaten them to date…
Did his best Jaden McDaniels impression
Potentially career altering bad decision. Huascar ynoa did this his rookie year while he was fantastic and he’s never made it back to the mlb since. Guys like this sometimes just aren’t cut out for the big stage
always use things to hit things; never use your hands to hit things. I mean, best-case you don’t have to hit anything, period, but if you do…
stadiums should provide a small soundproof room that has a heavy bag and a 50-pound cast-iron bat. lol maybe some goggles/ gloves and a bunch of flourescent bulbs for smashin’
What about Brewers pitcher Colten Cub?
He fought the wall, and the wall won.
Cubs fans need to show that they’re behind Brewer and make sure all their rivals know that today, they are all Colten Brewer. They should show their support by getting #mybrewcrew and #gobrewersgo trending.
“This body part is integral to my livelihood. I have trained the rest of my body to move this body part at incredibly high velocity. Let’s smash it against a wall.”
Maybe he’s pissed off because his name is literally Brewer and he’s playing for the freaking Cubs.
Then you’ve got a guy like Ranger Suarez playing for the Phillies, when he should obviously be in Texas
Manfred should make rules to outlaw this kind of bullshit.
It’s making a mockery of the game.
Ah the ole Hunter Strickland approach. Bold strategy.
i did that once playing in my dart league. i had one more game to play and did end up doing better with a broken hand
so don’t say it never works!
Jarred Kelenic has (1) missed calls
Hanshin Tigers legend Colten Brewer
The Wall stays undefeated vs baseball players/athletes.
Wall – 1million
Players – 0
Players have never won, why do they keep trying to beat up the wall?

Maybe don’t punch walls next time Colten
Kyle Brewer
men would rather punch the room than go to therapy
It’s so fucking funny how common this is.
The wall remains undefeated in these encounters
Dumbass
Pretty par for the course for this team tbh
Devin Williams can confirm punching walls does break your hand.
Honestly, makes sense. I was at the game, and I also wanted to break my hand punching a wall after he left the game
The funny thing is you all know like 5 guys who would break their hands punching walls if they were angry. Incredibly relatable.
This has to be the most dipshit way to get an injury
Plesac moment
Since grown men aren’t going to stop being irrational babies can we just get punching bags installed in all the dugouts? Seems like a fair compromise.
Well at least he didn’t [do this](https://youtu.be/mChUv7hVEc0?si=q8B-JYiopsFb_JTh) 😜🤛

Has a wall ever lost to a pitcher?
That’s not very cash money of him.
