started with Jameson could the bear sign defensive tackle lval Joseph he played under Eric Washington in Buffalo last season I kind of peruse lynval Joseph recently and if you remember two years ago him and and domakin Su signed midseason with the Eagles and he was actually pretty decent in Philadelphia um last year he was okay in Buffalo he’s like 35 now but he’s not a bad backup nose like he’s 330 he’s going to eat up blockers so um you know 15 snaps a game I kind of look at him as like the Mercedes Lewis of the defense like he’s not going to play a ton but he offer a lot to a locker room he could play at a decent level and you kind of look that defensive tackle position still pretty thin now I have more questions about the three Tech spot because Andrew Billings is going to hold it down for the most part it knows I guess it would come down to this what is Zack Pickins role is Zack Pickins going to be your backup up nose or are they going to kind of move him around play some three Tech occasional nose defensive end cuz I think that’s how they should deploy him in different spots like I don’t think he’s a starter but I think he could play multiple spots he can play occasional Edge he’s 295 300 like he’s not a nose I didn’t really get that last year so uh it would depend on that but bet minimum for lynval Joseph to be her true backup nose to Andrew Billings that’s two big boys uh at that nose tackle spot paleo appreciate the question he says when the time comes who do you think is more likely to get extended first Kyler Gordon or dcoin brisker I think I saw this circulating on Twitter people were debating this Matt bero I remember specifically when he took this job he said the three Tech is the engine to this defense that position and then he mentioned nickel is the second most important so if all things are equal I would guess they would keep Kyler Gordon first over dcoin brisker now would say through two seasons brisker has been more consistent um he was definitely better as a rookie but could I would also say Gordon might have been slightly better as a second-year player if you combine them both I would say brisker has been a tick better uh big year for both those guys they’re both contract extension eligible after this season so um I would lean Gordon assuming Flo is the coach but uh I would say Gordon’s been a little better or brisker has been a little better to this point so probably comes down to how they play this year DC Viper how much would a trade for Joey Bosa or Trey Hendrickson cost it feels like a day two second round pick which the Bears have two of um you know Bose is very good but he’s had some injuries Hendrickson’s already has a trade request out there I don’t know where that stands at this point he’s also 30 I mean I would guess those teams would ask for a first but I’m not giving up a first maybe at the trade deadline you can get one for a second um you know they’re both good but they’re not like all World type of players like you got Montes sweat for a second who I think is a more complete player than both of these guys these guys are probably slightly better pass rushers historically I’d still say a second round pick it might cost you the Carolina one which will be a top 40 pick but um I I would say a second is probably what I would be looking at there now if the when we publish content Aaron bar or barge do you think bis Jones is going to make the team if put a gun to my head today made me guess I’d say yes but I’m not confident in saying it he’s an excellent kick returner can he provide value elsewhere if he does he’ll make the team if he doesn’t it’s going to come down to the wire Logan Bell at what point in the season should we know Caleb is the right QB I think once you get to like Thanksgiving you should at least I don’t think it’s like you may not have a concrete answer like either way in terms of like this guy’s going to be incredible or this guy’s a boss like I don’t think anything could happen this year where he’d be like oh god he has no chance or oh God he like I think it’s more likely you feel on the positive side on the high level of things rather than the way low level of things um because guys stink as rookies all the time at quarterback and then are awesome like Josh Allen was terrible as a rookie and then he was great so um you know I I I you’d like to have a Feeling by November like hey this kid’s going to be pretty good so that Detroit game Thanksgiving like you would hope by then you have a pretty good feeling again I don’t know how concrete it’ll be but will have you know 10 or so games by then 10 12 games so that would be that that’ll be a good check-in Point all right who’s the most underrated player on the Bears right now who is it could it be DeAndre Swift I got a video coming up on him soon or depending on when you’re watching this it could already be out um underrated player let me know who it is Nate D is that Nate Davis um what is the highest ceiling in the lowest floor for this season record wise if it let’s take injuries out of it because if kale Williams is out for the season it obviously lowers the floor significantly but let’s assume there’s no significant injuries which obviously can’t assume that but just for the purpose of this exercise you’re relatively healthy I would say the floor is what you did last year seven and 10 schedule’s easier you’ve a lot of upgrades on paper even if not all of them don’t play out as upgrades you should at least do what you did last last year which was go seven and 10 and by the way you blew three games in incredible fashion and then I would say the ceiling if everything goes right 12 I I mean I I wouldn’t predict 12 13 but like I think you’re more like if you ask me what’s more likely 7 and 10 or 13- four I’d say seven and 10 but if you ask me what’s more likely 7 and 10 or 10 and seven I’d probably say 10 and seven so I I’ll say 7 to 13 is the kind of extreme of the gaps maybe you could say 6 and 11 is the floor but I would legitimately be pretty surprised if this team won less games than last year considering the on paper upgrades they’ve made fear of the squid who benefits most in the defensive line if Dexter takes a year or two leap I would say whoever the Ed well I think everyone Montes sweat gets less double team so he benefits but like whoever that second Edge rusher is whether it’s Austin book a free agent like if Dexter takes a leap and Montes sweat is still montz sweat that other Edge rusher is going to be on Islands a lot lot of one-on-one looks that person even if it’s an average player should get home decently often so I think that’s probably the biggest domino effect but if Dexter and sweat are playing next to each other and they’re just dominating like that duo could do some damage we’ll see if Dexter could take that Jump seai City says what has Roshan shown you he’s good at besides blocking that keeps Bears fans uh elevating him above Herbert in his rookie year do you see FL did you see flashes as a runner I did see flashes uh he’s very physical he’s got more physicality uh than Herbert Herbert’s got a little more juice um but you mentioned the blocking he’s better he’s a better pass catcher um the only thing Herbert does better he’s a better outside the tackles Runner and he’s got more burst but that burst kind of dwindled last year I think that was a result the high angle spraying you would think that would come back last couple games of the year he looked better there last year he average 4.3 yards per carry that’s solid not great but for his style of Runner that’s pretty good he caught 34 uh passes uh C Herbert’s not going to catch 30 40 50 balls for you he might catch 20 so yeah I mean I think he’s more well-rounded Herbert’s the better Pure Runner there’s no question about it and if it’s a wide enough Gap there like if he is so Leaps and Bounds better as a runner then they need to keep him but if Roshan closes that Gap and is better in every other area oh and by the way can play on multiple special teams units whereas the only Unit C Herbert can
