putting up with you for that long I’m sure as a Seahawk fan she’s seen you on an emotional roller coaster over the years so uh shout out to your wife as well for putting up with you Jaylen with a $5 Super Chat writes in which player are you most excited to see play this season go Hawks uh Jaylen I got two answers for you here I’ll give you one for each side of the ball let’s start with the offense yeah it’s got to be jsn right jsn has been the star of the off season he has been Gino’s go-to guy we saw him show flashes of Brilliance last year I think he’s going to take another huge step forward I think he passes up lock it on the depth chart you’re going to see him more on the outside I have High Hopes shout out Panic at the Disco for jsn in 20124 defensively it’s the same guy that got drafted in the same round as him Devon Witherspoon is the guy I’m watching for Devon Witherspoon has had a fantastic off season he has been Mike McDonald’s favorite player they got some big plans for him I think Witherspoon’s going to be fantastic those guys are going to have big second years with the Seahawks Lord farore with the question uh what What’s the quote from Lord farore text about uh if somebody’s got to die you know what I’m talking about then then that’s just going to what it’s going to have to be or something uh I thought a big mistake in the Shrek movies was killing off Lord farar spoiler award granted the movie came out 20 years ago so I don’t know how much spoiler alert that is but they shouldn’t have killed off Lord farar he was one of the best characters they should have kept him going for the next other movies maybe come back as a ghost or something what’s going on with Jake Bobo light writes Lord farore uh so I’ll tell you this much they haven’t talked a ton about Jake Bobo this off season but he hasn’t done anything wrong okay we haven’t heard that Jake Bobo had just some bad practice where he didn’t perform well or anything like that so it’s okay to not necessarily be in the news all the time if you’re Jake Bobo what we have heard is that he’s not in any danger of losing his spot on the depth chart of getting passed up whether it’s by chenel or Eskridge or any of these guys Jake B was clearly your number four receiver last year he he played all right uh had 19 catches 196 yards 10.3 yards reception two touchdowns Jake Bobo had his moments and Jake Bobo was a steal for the Seattle seah hooks to get him as a udfa he was the star of the preseason fans loved what they saw out of Jake Bobo and I think that he’s got a chance to be another sneaky good player for this Seahawks team to take a big step forward and be an impact player as that number four receiver the seahs are going to run more four and five wide receiver sets than we’ve ever seen before so Jake Bobo is going to be on the field plenty in 2024 I’m excited to see what he does you want to see more Jake Bobo you guys know what to do been a while since we’ve done this but in I love to me some Johnny Bravo back in the day uh on Cartoon Network I think some of the best episodes were when they brought in Donnie Osman as a guest star uh what do you think of rayan Jenkins I like rayan Jenkins and the fake news mainstream media has kind of dismissed ran Jenkins and not just since he came to Seattle they dismissed him when he was in Jacksonville and you look at the statistics that he put up I mean he was very solid I thought uh with the Jacksonville Jags last year had two interceptions was was very good it reminds me a lot of the Seahawks bringing in Julian love last year and Julian love he had untapped potential right and he took a huge step forward and became a pro bowl player this last year I think the same thing could happen with raayan Jenkins where he’s been a good player but he’s looking to take another step forward and we’ve seen track record that Mike McDonald has when it comes to safety right with the Gino Stones the Kyle Hamiltons the Marcus Williams of the world they see something in raan Jenkins I think ran Jenkins uh could surprise some people be a pro bowl caliber player here in 2024 will ran Jenkins have a big year I’m giving you two options you can either type why for yes or you can type in for no which one’s it going to be will it be a big year for ran Jenkins wait in the comments section let us know what you do Danel writes in do you think Seattle can be a Super Bowl competitor this year no hate to break it to you but it it’s just a no for me what what Randy Jackson say on American aisle it’s no for me dog um look I think that when you look at this Seahawks team heading into 2024 the goal should be to be a playoff team and they can be a playoff um I think that is kind of Step number one of the Mike McDonald regime if they win 10 plus games then this season was a smashing success and you have momentum heading into 2025 then in 2025 that’s when they should be a contender in the NFC got a lot of young parts and pieces at this point in time but they still need developing and you still have some obvious needs that you need to fix like the offensive line finding some help when it comes the inside backers all that stuff long term think about this too with doson and Baker who you brought in those guys are on short contracts so next offseason we’re going to have the discussion again about the middle linebacker position uh so with that said seks are not a Super Bowl Contender this year they could be in 2025 potentially but right now not a Super Bowl Contender hope is they make the playoffs couple more for you let’s go to Wayne Wayne’s World partyon what are your NFC West Standings at the end of the year Wier number one Hawks Rams cards all are unknowns to me I think the uh as much as I hate to say the winers will win the division they’re just too good they’re just too freaking good too much talent um there and Kyle Shanahan’s one of the best coaches in football I would expect the wiers to come in first place I think the Seahawks can finish second uh I think that’s very realistic that the Seahawks get a second place finish uh whether it’s at 9 and8 or 8 and N or 10 and seven somewhere in that range I think they finished second I think the Rams are going to take a step back I think losing Aaron Donal was a bigger deal than people realize he was playing the role of about three different players on that defensive line and it’s not going to be easy to replace that Stafford’s getting older he’s had problems staying healthy we’ve seen Cooper cup have issues staying healthy I think they finished third I think the Cardinals are going to turn some things around I like what they did in this draft uh I love The Pick of Marvin Harrison Jr but but I still think they have a long ways to go they’ll be improve but uh they got they got a lot of figuring out to do I think that’s your standing it’s wiers Hawks Rams and cordons next from Evan Evan writes will jsn be a pro bowler this year I think he’s got a shot I think he’s got a really good shot I lean towards yes and maybe that’s some overconfidence for me but I think it’s certainly possible Evan that jsn is a pro bowler this season I think that he’s got the talent he’s got the capab abilities and this coaching staff’s going to put him in a position to do so last question who will be the quarterback at the end of the year if there are no injuries I think it’s GS I do Sam how is not your long-term answer he’s not better than GS Smith um Gino I think’s going to have a very solid year I’m very high on what Gino can do in this offense we’ve seen him kind of held back a bit from Shane Waldren in the past I think that he is going to thrive this upcoming season so I I think Gino is your guy I would be uh surprised
