hey guys what’s going on James here and welcome back to yet another video looking at some Pro Football Focus Rankings today we’re looking at the running back position now this is the entire unit okay not just specific running backs they’re grading the entirety of the unit so as we’ve done in the past I’m going to be curious to see where the NFC other NFC South teams are the Saints are coming in here at 22 very interesting considering Alvin Kamara and Jamal Williams is there if that’s a unit that gets 22 and I think it’s actually a pretty decent unit uh interesting interesting in my opinion what about the Carolina Panthers where are they going to come into this equation they’re coming in at number 27 so it’s two NFC sou teams that are in the bottom half of the league so far up to this point I’m surprised the Panthers aren’t a smidge lower but it is what it is the Falcons I dude they might have the Falcons in like the top five we’ll see they’re at number five well there you go ban Robinson’s there Tyler alir is there I don’t know cordel Patterson went I’m I’m curious as to where he went I’m uh I’m not too sure the Ravens are at number four with Derrick Henry I still can’t believe they have him it’s just that is crazy to me but where are the Buccaneers number 20 so they are technically second in the NFC South not breaking that teen Mark coming in at number 20 and you know what I would say I would say that I don’t think that this is a pure knock on Rashad white at least I hope not because it does say he was the eighth highest Pro Football Focus wins above average figure among running backs last season um I think the offensive line plays a factor into how the Bucs running back position did last year as well and like I thought Rashad white was was good last year I thought he was fine this may be a bit of a knock at the overall depth because again you’re looking at the overall unit I love Chase Edmond I’m going to have him back here on the channel soon but you know he was hurt last year unfortunately and that definitely hampered his season but Irving is a fourth round draft pick and we don’t know how he’s going to be in this upcoming year so like I I think if Chase Edmond didn’t get hurt last year and he was able to prove that he was a a bit more of a a proper good backup running back maybe you could bump them up into say like the mid teens but right now like at 20 I don’t know man I mean like the Bears are above them with DeAndre Swift Cil berbert and Roshan Johnson the Chiefs Chiefs being an 18 is kind of crazy to be honest cuz cuz Isaiah Pacho is pretty darn good Clyde Edwards hair is is you know fine back as well I I don’t know man the Steelers at 17’s also kind of crazy I I don’t know man I don’t know like I don’t know if the Cardinal should be up this High I definitely don’t think the Titan should be at 15 goodness uh Seahawks at 14 I I don’t I don’t know I mean the Vikings at 13 they did get Aaron Jones I I don’t I know about these rankings man I don’t know you you could say the buck should be a bit higher you could say a few of these teams should be a bit higher I think the Steelers should be higher the Chiefs should be higher uh I think the Cardinals should be lower I think the Titans should be lower could maybe say that the Seahawk should be a bit lower I I don’t I don’t know I don’t know about all that I don’t know about all that man that’s that’s interesting but I mean hey the Bucks still are the second top team in the NFC south I mean it’s not much considering where the Saints and Panthers finished um but I do think they should be in the teens I I feel like that that’s a reasonable thing to say I think you could put them at like 17 maybe and I think that’d be a fair ranking for them kind of where the offensive line was I think the offensive line was at 17 as well um and I I do believe they will do better than this ranking of 20 especially with Rashad white you know still being in the mix Chase Edmond’s being healthier now Bucky Irving coming in excuse me and uh being a bit healthier as well I I think this unit hopefully will be improved from this ranking um and we’ll be able to Showcase some of their skills going forward especially with hopefully an improved interior offensive line as well but what do you guys think let me know your thoughts and opinions about this down in the comments section below do you agree with the running back unit being ranked 20th in the NFL second in the NFC South do you disagree let me know your thoughts and opinion I’d love to hear them down in the comments section below thank you guys so much for watching this video hope youall enjoyed as always guys I’ll see you all on the next video or the next live stream but until then and as always guys goodbye for now and go bock
