What Milwaukee Brewers’ Christian Yelich is saying about his MVP season in 2024

throughout the year you just keep going and keep try to play well and then once you get back on the good side of it then you start trying to build momentum again and and go from there so uh it was nice to get out of here with the wi for sure but um yeah I think everybody would just focus on trying trying to play well H that’s sort of always your message you know never get too high never get too low um when you’re going like you are right now at the plate how do you avoid getting too high um well I I mean it’s kind of open for the series till lost that bat yesterday you know and um kind of had a little I actually kind of had a little bit of an extended stretch there but it’s really just the next step B you know what happened before really doesn’t mean anything you can’t change it they’re already done so really just stay focused on the present and your next that bat and um that’s it honestly cuz whether you did good or bad before doesn’t change anything for the 1.4 so um you know I try to do that as a player just like stay present and focus on the moment because there are going to be ups and downs and uh personally in this game team wise in this game and really just do what you can to stay locked in and I found that at the end like that kind of works out the best what do you make of the level that you’re at right now Ops over 900 um it’s just been I don’t I honestly have no idea what like any of my staffs are like couldn’t tell you one of them um so probably Homer is the only one that I know but all the other ones I literally couldn’t tell you a single thing because I just don’t look at them CU doesn’t matter they changeed so much throughout the year anyway so who cares what they say you just try to like contribute to wins and be a good player that day and keep trying to stack it and and work hard every day you come to the field to to be at your best and then at the end of the season you kind of just all right see where you ended up like I said a few days ago talk to you guys it’s like some years end up shaping up to be special others you know you’re just good some years just struggle like you don’t really know it’s it’s a hard game so you just put everything you have into the current day like just everything you got you know inside of you that day should be put towards trying to help the team win and be successful that night and then start again the next day
