Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share a web platform I've been building since last week. In response to Cap Friendly shutting down (whenever it actually goes away 😅), I wanted to build something that not only took its place but also connected more with the fanbase and community of Hockey.

Its called (Benchwarmers) https://www.benchwarmers.app/ 🚨

And while this is still very much in Alpha stage, the summer off season will go quick and I wanted to start getting it in front of eyeballs to get all the feedback possible.

• Player Stats (Oh and its fast 💨, puts the NHL site to shame…)
• Team Stats
• Salary Info (Limited for now but plan to grow this up more!)
• Playoff Bracket Challenge – Coming Soon
• ArmChairGM – Might pick a new name 😅
• NEW! GM Playground – Make mock trades with AI GMs who have complete knowledge of all their previous trades. – *Long Term feature.
• The code will be Open Source! (Stay Tuned)
• Community-driven
• Oh and FREE, no one should have to pay to be a fan 💪

  2. I use CapFriendly for the team depth charts. Is there a way to automate the sorting of the roster into lines? Or does someone have to manually update that info as it changes?

    I’m also an out-of-work software tester who is learning Python and familiar with SQL so perhaps I can help do verifications.
