  1. Glad they decided to cancel tonight’s game. Can’t wait to start the series tomorrow!

  2. Lead was 7 games after Wednesday’s game and now it’s 4. Can’t give the Cardinals so much life, would be nice to keep the lead over 5 at the break. The team needs the break badly we need to heel up because every injury is becoming very apparent now. Every one in the bullpen except Megill, Zastryzny, and Junis have had a very tough week. They need to find something in the next 5 to get them to the break with a nice lead so the in-organization bullpen reinforcements can arrive.

  3. Out of all the misery that occurred tonight, I’m most worried about Payamps.

Let’s also never use this lineup again.

  4. Maybe we can try turning off the team and back on again during the all star break.

  5. If Capra and his .111 BA aren’t in the line up tonight we might have won. That botched double play ball is what gave them life.

  6. Made these moves for some starters and now our pen has gone to complete shit. Not great

  7. Rea did not pitch as bad as the stat line says. He got let down by the defense that failed to not only get one out but a tailor made DP ball. Instead in typical Brewers Fashion this season, kicking the ball around on D seems to result in a pretty bad inning run wise.

10 LOB with 6 hits and all the offense could get is 2 stinking runs.

Just a bad bad game. This better not be the Typical pre AS break meltdown that we are used to seeing every year from this team. I still have hope.

O and BTW the Devil Birds are only 4 games back now. If they win both games tomorrow and the Brewers lose the lead is down to 2 games. They could have a -100 run dif and still be a 100 win team for the voodoo they have.

Maybe the team needs to lose first place to wake them the fuck up. You cant just have all these damn base runners and only get 2.

    Fuck the Pirates.

  8. Gotta say the boys are starting to have real upset tummies at all these ice cream cone factory trips.

  9. How about Skenes wanting to meet Uecker? Getting harder and harder not to root for that guy (as long as the Pirates don’t get too close in the standings lol)

  10. The debate should be : should we trade high prospects for Crochet. Is this team good enough to win the NL pennant with that move?

  11. The results of the individual games don’t really matter. The causes behind them, i.e. the persistent overuse of the bullpen because we have 2 starting pitchers, matters. We *must* fix this problem at the deadline to legitimately compete this year. I do not believe ownership is interested in that. I don’t necessarily blame them; next year when you figure to have Woodruff and Gasser back seems like the year to cash chips in on.

  12. FUCKING pisser of a game, these Pirates always play us tough…
    Get em tomorrow..
