and one now on our July MLB videos we’ll be breaking down the Braves at the Dbacks from Chase Field first pitch set for 9:40 p.m. Eastern Braves negative 135 Road favorites Dbacks plus 114 with a total of nine exactly uh we got two righties here we got the grizzled veteran and Charlie Morton with a 55 record 396 ER 1.25 on the whip against the youngster Slade saone 2 and six 610 erra 1.31 on the whip starting off with Morton here you know he’s been solid across the year he’s his home road splits there’s not really much to read into there he’s basically the same pitch he is at home as he is on the RO he’s coming off a start where he allowed four runs three earned on five hits and five in the third Innings against the San Francisco Giants and the Dbacks bats have cooled off in this series so far we’ve seen them only score six combined runs in these first two games of the series after averaging nine runs in the prior four games they were crushing the ball in the series against the Padres and against the Dodgers but the bats have cooled off a little but only six runs so far against the Braves in this series however the focus this of this one will be on Sone and the Braves bats the Dbacks pitching and the Braves bats in this one Sone had got hammered in his last outing against the Padres who we just mentioned he allowed five runs eight hits only four and 2/3 Innings and his erra is horrendous at home it’s a very short sample size only 17 Innings pitched at home but he has an 1165 ER and a 360 Oba at home so he’s really struggled at Chase Field like I said a very short sample size um he’s worse against righties and the Braves projected lineup they’re going to be stacking six right-handed bats against him one of the lefties being Olen so it’s a pretty tough task here for saone uh Braves bats we know they’ve struggled throughout the season whether it be right or left-handed pitching they’ve fallen short of expectations but they’ve heated up recently they’ve e either scored five or six runs each of their last five games and the Braves have also really feasted on the Dbacks this season five head-to-head games we mentioned they’ve won all of them 6 five 69 and five runs against the Dbacks this season going looking at the bullpens we know the Braves Bullpen talked about it before they’ve been Elite basically been like the best bullpen in the majors over the last 30 days Dbacks on the other hand on the season they’re 25th in ER one alarming thing they’ve allowed the second most home runs in the last 30 days and we saw this Bullpen get exposed against the Padre’s in that Series where we took the over in every game and this dback Bullpen uh can get lit up so we got the Braves at home I’m sorry on the road guaranteed to have nine innings of that bats really good hitters park at Chase Field they’re team total of 4 and A2 is only – 110 to the over so we’re looking that way we’re going to pick on aone here expect him to keep struggling at home and if they don’t get the job done against him I think they’re going to have plenty of chances against a DB Bullpen that that hasn’t been very good this season or even recently
