it’s a Pao Lopez sweeper you hit it 450 ft to left who’s throwing it okay thank you that’s a good one so it’s it is trade deadline season time here we’re just a few weeks away from the Major League Baseball trade deadline which means it’s Reckless speculation season now our guy Trevor ploof yesterday and if you haven’t been catching these Tuesdays with Trevor episodes he’s been awesome man he’s been part of johnboy media for the last few years he’s turned himself into just a big- Time media Mogul and he’s got takes he’s got thoughts uh theories you can find those episodes every Tuesday the scor our twin Show YouTube channel which we just launched a few months ago as we get closer to 4,000 subscribers thank you guys uh and giving us a five-star rating and a positive review on Apple and Spotify also goes a long way to help grow the score our twin show but Trevor doesn’t think they’re going to do anything big at the trade deadline so are you just gaslighting us with a bunch of names here or do we what’s this exercise Jud okay so I sat down a couple of days ago I went through a few teams that look like they are cuz there’s not a ton like there is be because of the three wild cards now there’s a lot of teams that are going to be on the proverbial fence uh that probably aren’t going to sell I will continue to to say say this the trade deadline is in a couple weeks July 30th they baseball needs to move this back in my opinion to the end of August if you’re going to allow this many teams and I don’t even have a problem now cuz it is it creates Intrigue it’s fun but if you’re going to allow the amount of teams uh to still consider themselves near August 1st to be in the race I think you need to move this back to near September 1st so that then there’s a little bit more definition I it sounds nuts but I mean you’ve created a formula that completely turned what was your playoff approach on its head so you’re you’re kind of saying that we we need another month to get more clarity so that there’s a little bit more of a gap that teams are more committed to selling yes or teams can pick a path I I and I I think you’re right on this and if if there’s more clarity and teams are able to pick a path closer to September I don’t think it would decrease trade values like you’d say well wait a second I get a guy for two months now plus playoffs versus one month but is there really you’re really getting a guy for playoffs corre that’s that’s what doing and there’s more rounds now so the value of said player increases based on the rounds so right now how many teams do you think are are committed today to selling I mean Blue Jays are in last place 16 games out nine games below I have read Texas considers itself to probably be a seller well they’ve won five games in a row and they’re only five but I’m just saying this is part of the problem um in in my opinion the real conundrum is the national league cuz look at the wild card situation there like the Cubs could say you know what screw it we’re not going to sell in a month I think the Cubs would have a definite answer so Rockies and Marlins are the only true sellers now correct in a in a few weeks it might be different in a month it’s definitely different correct to your point uh right now Angels A’s are for sure selling white socks are for sure selling and then the Blue Jays the Rays and the Rangers are all kind of in the maybe bin I think the tigers are as well tigers are in a maybe bin yeah yeah which is disappointing because I I thought that the Tigers would be more competitive but anyway so um I essentially went with a list of potential starters which ploof said he does not think is going to be be the case but that’s just being a killjoy that’s no fun I think we should still throw some starters out this is reckless speculation and relievers now I would say this Reckless speculation the top end of the twins Bullpen is pretty good but I think Dex will agree the back end could use Improvement if you’re not going to move Paddock there if you’re not going to I I’m afraid that varin’s 2024 might be lost he has become such a mess in St Paul that I don’t know can’t on him yeah yeah right can can you just now stick him back in the bullpen and say Do What You Did Last fall I don’t know that’s possible it’s been a mess so so let’s just say you know Brock St coming back but let’s just say for the sake of this exercise that I think you still would consider trying to upgrade some of those backend relief spots okay all right so let’s go with Texas pitchers who look like they will be available beginning with three starters Max Scherer is in the last year of his contract he has a no trade clause I think he gets get traded I don’t think it’s here I think that’s a I think the price on Sherer who also is coming off back surgery and at this point at the age of 37 he’s made three starts I don’t think the twins pay the price there and I don’t think that they probably should based on three starts and like he had a back problem how about this one you guys though he is in in the last year of his contract or on a one-year deal 32 right-handed pitcher Michael Lorenzen 321 ER and 15 starts real quick on Sherer just back back a second sure absolutely I don’t think correct me if I’m wrong on this I don’t think the actual monetary price would be that high because aren’t other teams paying a a big chunk of his Freight that’s why I think the asking price will probably I I just don’t know if I’m going to risk making a trade for an established name pitcher who’s had three starts and had back surgery that kept him out for the majority of the Season yeah and know man if you could just but if but yeah be fun could you imagine just get this dude back healthy healthy enough okay I just sorry I just wanted to go back to him for a second and then the second starter potentially from the Rangers he started 17 of the 18 games in which he appeared he has a 3.8 erra 31-year-old left-hander Andrew Haney who also you said Loren Lorenzen or no yes I said him and Haney and both of those guys are on expiring contracts so you would not be taking on anything more than a rental for the remainder of the Season okay I mean I I I still I’m with Dean from yesterday Nathan e evaldi is the the one that ivaldi so he does have a it’s a vesting option for $20 million next year he’s 34 going to be 35 so if he continues to pitch the rest of the season he will hit the 300 Innings most likely over the two years yep but that’s a guy he’s been Rock Solid in the regular season for a number of years so he would you know he wouldn’t just be a guy that comes into I mean he would be probably your second best starter behind this version of Joe Ryan and then Pablo Lopez we’ll kind of see how the second half shakes out for him yep and he’s been a wizard in the playoffs in the World Series in the championship series so I know that you just mentioned three other rangers pitchers but you know it some of it depends on what your appetite to pick up $20 million for a 35-year-old starter who’s still very good in 2025 Z I think it’s zero that that’s my problem that’s a shame man like but I mean they’ve done nothing they have done nothing to go away from the philosophy that they’re going to spend or it doesn’t appear there’s any endgame where they decide you know what screw it let’s just spend nothing’s happened yeah but I’m with you it’s ideal you know if it’s not that it’s it’s less than Sunny gray was getting in the multi-e deal right it’s would be one year I’m not arguing with you I’m just saying I I haven’t seen any movement to say you know what screw it this club since the end of April has played great baseball let’s go spend okay what if you could find someone to take a chunk of the 10 million from Christian Vasquez to help you offset the $20 million for next year now you’re trading who then Walker Jenkins no you what no well no I’m I’m saying if if you find like if you package this that’s my problem the asking price if you find somebody to take salary you’re going to be asked to give up a player that you absolutely don’t want to hold on yeah it’s not it’s not a top 20 Prospect in baseball but you’d have to give up a top five Prospect what yes to take a top five organizational somebody would somebody would take that 10 million for a backup catcher if you gave him like your 17th best Prospect or you don’t or or here a novel concept how about just add $20 million in payroll for a really good picture for 202 we all agree on that yes Ideal World yes Dean and you are a th% right I am literally trying to get this team a rental because I don’t think there’s been anything I have seen that screams that they will now decide we’ve got a chance to win so we will pay the price nothing I’ve seen I will say this on Andrew Haney so he’s a lefty which is interesting cuz you’ve just just you don’t really have lefties when’s the last time am I missing someone like when’s the last time they had a regular established Lefty in their rotation Martin Perez I mean it’s Lefty yeah he was you might be right just a little change of change of look right absolutely but but I don’t know that he he I don’t know that he’s one of your three playoff starters evaldi is evaldi is I I’m with you so Michael lenen is the exact type of guy they’ll go after and it does absolutely nothing to make you a better playoff team does it help you eat Innings to start to get you to the Finish Line because some guys have to start that don’t absolutely punish you every time they take the mound yes it’ll get you to the Finish Line Michael Lorenzen does nothing in a playoff series for me avaldi would be the one to go after Lorenzen also he’s sort of the he’s the flip side of Pablo Lopez if you look beneath the hood so Pablo Lopez his his FIP his expected ra is like a run and a half lower than his actual ra so the metrics are telling you that Pablo Lopez and maybe there’s a tweak or two he has to make to make this happen but that he’s he’s really like a three and a half erra pitcher that’s just getting a little unlucky or there’s some noise lorenzen’s the opposite and then he has a 3.21 erra it’s crazy but his walk rate is high his strikeout rate is among the lowest of any regular starting pitcher and his expected ra is over five I looked at today yeah that’s a problem no question I just don’t know if I if I trust that in the second half of the season if we’re going to talk about a potential trade with Texas I think avaldi is is it’s a great idea I think it’s got no chance I think that there’s actually to Circle back here I think there’s a better chance to get sherzer if you’re take if you’re willing to take take the chance based on what Phil said which is I think the Mets are still on the hook for a huge amount of the salar so Texas alone is not paying that um sh to pretty cheap yeah according to spot Trak the payroll uh the the payroll portion that the Rangers are picking up is only 122.5 million I think yeah that’s probably right so it be a 12 yeah and and by the way he so he’s made now four starts since June 23d mhm including one last night and uh know he’s going six and a third six and 2/3 so dude could you now he’d have to okay it obviously thing I mean I I just don’t know even though the twins are a better team I I think that that roadblock in my opinion actually puts up a bigger roadblock or or probability that they won’t be able to get sherzer and that’s why evaldi would be more realistic even with the $20 million investing up Michael lorenzza no question will be the guy yeah it’s going to be him it’s it’s exactly what they’ll do you’re so right about that it sucks but you’re so that that’s de dead on accurate okay um Toronto I found I found one starter and plof has actually talked about this guy a couple of times including on Tuesday Kikuchi okay it’s a good one now he’s 4 and8 which you know isn’t that important uh 4.12 e RA in 18 starts he again is a left-handed pitcher and is in the final year so a rental of his contract what does that potentially do for you guys right up there for me yeah the Lefty aspect yeah get you well that might be more realistic then and doie I think you can do this Doogie threw this out because I I took that Mark feinan article with the Tweet about how Toronto’s only really interested in selling their rental players the Twins were very in on Kikuchi before he chose Toronto when he came over here okay so the twins have interest with this organiz with this uh Brain Trust FY LaVine Etc in him before um this would be this would be second to me to Nathan ivaldi in terms of getting after him okay yeah again uh ivaldi is sort of the bar for me in that if you add him he is for sure one of your three playoff starters and then bayy obber gets bumped to four so so Joe Ryan ivaldi and then Pablo Lopez and some order is Kikuchi definitively your third best starting pitcher kind of depends cuz like I think he’s kind of Bailey oish in terms of like his Effectiveness his numbers but one’s a righty one’s a lefty so it gives you flexibility based on who you face maybe you could handcuff a couple of these guys together having a quality Lefty that can start or come in at some point yes is a really interesting chess piece and and the twins lack quality lefties starting and and out of the bullpen yep and if super interested and this allows without I think a second thought Paddock to go to the bullpen so it strengthens your bullpen in the playoffs as well yep go throw 99 miles hour Chris Paddock for an in and that’s unleash it for 25 pitches yep absolutely absolutely okay last starter um he also is in the last year of his contract and so there should be no tax here in the division is Jack Jack flarity 28 right-handed pitcher he’s had a nice year he’s been dealing with some back problems and he actually they skipped his start here so that concerns me a little bit but because the twins haven’t had any issues with yeah I was going to say and that always concerns me the twins might trade for an injured pitcher but this is a situation where because he’s a rental I don’t think that there would be a tax to trade within the division for him so my last one Jack flare of the Tigers yeah I mean he came out through that St Louis Pipeline and the first couple years he came up when he was like 21 and the first couple years man he looked like oh this is going to be the next think about the Cardinals pictures over the years right Chris Carpenter Adam way wri and then his career just kind of went sideways with injuries and whatnot but he’s he’s back to being the version of Jack flare that people thought he was going to be like six years ago yes he is and he’s not he’s only 28 not that that really matters because he’s a rental but right you know is he healthy is he healthy that’s the question he’s a highend arm no I don’t he definitely intrigues me I can sit here on a podcast all day and be like yeah go get Jack flarity but I’m not looking at the MRI and the the X-ray so yeah if you get a healthy version of Jack flarity he is one of your three playoff starters right yeah and I I think I forget maybe was the athletic or someone wrote but I I believe the floor of what they’re asking the tigers are is a top five Prospect even though he’s a rental now I don’t know if they’ll get that but and I also think the twins would be reluctant to give up a top five for flarity I like flarity feels like top five is very aggressive for R Who Would you trade Julian I I have to think about how that fits in with like the Tigers but you know if if a team said I’d consider we we’ll buy a little bit low on Julian I’d consider that yes for one but it’s for one year if if I had some team control y I don’t know if I had a year and a half of Nathan evaldi for instance but if you had team control you won’t make the trade because you’re concerned about what what you’re going to make off TV in 2025 and this is what creat such a Sticky Wicket I’m not concerned about that I would well tell you not too far a man of the fans not too far from us Phil there’s an office where there’s at least one guy if not more very concerned about that yeah so that’s it for starters I’ve got now now let’s say that they don’t trade for a starter what ploof said proves to be true I again contend that you can improve your Bullpen then because you’ve got good upper Eon guys and I you got some question marks okay so I’m going to throw some names that probably aren’t household names out but I think could be options to to fit into the bullpen pretty nicely yeah Toronto again um pending free agent 31 right-handed pitcher Trevor Richards two starts but he’s also come in relief in 37 games when looked it up a 3.06 ER Trevor Richards I think would be considered probably an upgrade to the middle of your Bullpen he’s a horse man he’s already he’s already eaten up 47 and 2/3 Innings now he has made a couple starts too but yeah but just two you’re okay all right so he’s I mean any of these guys if as long as you’re you’re bumping some of the Dead weight out of your Bullpen yeah cuz we’re not we’re not talking about at least with Trevor Richards he’s not like jumping over Griffin Jacks at the back end right these are guys that would just help just yeah some guys that could come in and get some out okay backfield guys and and from the atrocious Florida Marlins Tanner Scott he is a southpaw again a pending free agent he actually has saved 13 games 1.42 RA in 37 games and he is 30 he’s the type of guy that you might like to try and keep but for now a rental and I am guessing he gets moved for sure yeah yeah they’ll sell him and Tanner is just a good baseball name isn’t it it is Tanner Scott’s a great name baseball it’s a great Sports name it’s like a creative hockey punter perhaps in football Tanner scner Scott he’s like a slot receiver Tanner Scott Tanner Scott yep yep can see that for sure and from the Angels uh again a rental 37 right-hander Luis Garcia okay his ER is 4.25 he’s a horse again 38 games that’s another baseball name Luis Garcia hey I got I got a buddy named Lu Luis Garcia what does he do for a living oh he’s a major league reliever probably but utility infielder he might be a basketball player could be like like yeah like the Spanish national team or something I could see that exactly right so so if plof is right and they don’t trade for a starter and he might be right I do think that they probably try and add at least decks one guy in the pen and it’s probably not going to be again a big name it’s probably going to be what we all consider to be a typical twins move but I think it’s probably more realistic right now that they do that than at a starter as much as I would love for you guys to be right and evaldi starting in the playoffs would be fantastic yeah they’ll they’ll add probably a mid-tier bullpen arm and I mean they’re going to get Brock Stewart back who’s been very effective went in the bullpen Justin topa who has yet to throw a pitch for the twins uh is progressing probably toward a rehab appearance here soon again um so if you just do the math here you got Stuart that’s going to enter the pen maybe topa does do you move Chris Paddock there like the shuffling of the deck chairs starts to start a little bit after the first three guys which are basically Don Jax and Alcala correct um it becomes a little easier to build out the pen and plus with the Wild Card roster like Bailey Ober was left off of the Wild Card roster cuz they knew they weren’t going to need him as a starter so they had an extra arm to throw in the pen for that so there’s there’s some chests that can be involved here with adding a couple Bullpen arms but I think the top three arms are good but those second tier arms which I know twins fans get upset with you know when people say well if Griffin Jack and Durant aren’t available we’re just going to have to play these guys like yes that is how that works when a bullpen arm is unavailable you have to rely on your mid-tier guys and they need in the regular season in the regular season especially playoff like that’s the good news for this this team actually profiles better in the postseason because you don’t have to worry about this like who’s your number five starter thing it doesn’t matter anymore like their biggest problem right now is they don’t really have a fi out rotation correct but but once you get to October you don’t need five starters you need three and a half starters so I skipped one I’ve got one more reliever that I think is a great Twins name and this guy is 38 he’s played for everybody and their brother he is currently a ranger David Robertson oh yeah David Robertson is probably going to to be moved he’s appeared in 35 games he blew a game here right Dex I think at Target Field he blew a game did but is but would that not be would that not be the most twins likee acquisition his contract actually it looks like he’s on the hook or like the team is on the hook for uh 5 mil this season but I think it’s done after that so A rental again that just strikes me as the ultimate twins move cuz it it’ be for like Prospect what 19 22 he also came into what was it was it the the 17 was it the wild card game in 17 David Robertson came in and just shoved in a game against the twins in the play he was he was good back then Rivera’s been retired for 10 years he was setting up mariana rivera yeah that was 10 years ago 10 plus years ago and he was damn good at that he’s still good man like and he’s still in his late 30s he still has huge strikeout numbers so that’d be a great one and he would SL he you could trust him especially play playoff seasoning right yeah so if you’re him too does he have a no trade clause because he’s a 10year does that does his 10e factor in no because he he’s not five with Texas okay that’s right 10 you got to be a 10 and fivey 10 five yeah so no he’s fine he gets traded constantly okay all right mercenary David Robertson I’m in on David Roberts so we’re just starting here though but I believe that the Reckless speculation Wheels need to turn I don’t care who tries to to kill Joy our fun who comes on and says I don’t think they’re going to make trades I think we at least need to discuss it it’s not our job to decide whether they will or they won’t it’s our job to throw out ideas for what they could and should do in the next three weeks and I think a rental I don’t think a rent is a crazy thing to talk about and I mean if they don’t do something in the rental category then I do think the organization in the front office deserved a lot of criticism this is because this is a team they’re not the favorites to win the World Series but this is a team that can win the World Series if the offense continues to be a top five offense and you’ve got some high-end arms in your rotation your Bullpen it is not far-fetched to say that this team can win the World Series this year with a tweak or two and some health down the stret strch and certainly if nothing else make a playoff run yeah yep get P the second round this time you guys how about that ALCS Reckless speculation all right let’s get to the you want to do random twin or do you want to do the the twins on the grid we have a packed show here let’s knock out random twin random twin okay let’s knock out random twin random twin of the week here it’s a battle of twins historical wits Dean has the clues so it’ll be Jud versus myself here so all time I have 19 wins Dex has 14 and Jud has 13 wins in random twin of the week the last handful of random twins are kennes Vargas Dustin Moore Grant balfor Marty Cordova and Carlos Gomez go go Dex will throw out a series of Clues Jud and I no Googling we can contrl f the previous random twins if we want to make sure that uh there’s not a duplicate and we can shut out answers whenever we want if one of us hits a third strike a third incorrect guess the other one wins automatically here we go random all right this random twin of the week played in 1300 major league baseball games 1300 games made his MLB debut at age 20 young pup young pup in the big leagues 1300 games H 20 he was a kid in uh the rookie league in the miners when he was coming up he won a batting title really mhm I’m going to control left here come already you done that person this random twin of the week hold on uh oh no we done him too we’ve no we’ve done both these guys I’m sorry oh oh thought I had it there to miners okay this random twin of the week received MVP votes Rookie of the Year votes and was an Allstar in his first Big League season so wait so so our rookie of the year votes mhm MV all it was an Allstar mhm in his first Big League season think we’ve done this guy Miss control effing this guy guys I can we’ve done this guy too what am I shoot we’ve done we’ve done everybody there’s no one left we’ve only done like 45 MVP votes rookie of the Year votes and was an Allstar mhm his first year in the big leagues 20 doesn’t sound like a guy that began his career at the twins is what I what I’m surmising I think we’re being I think we’re being jerked around here good job this random twin of the week played for three major league baseball teams in his 1300 game Career Team Rookie of the Year allar first year D God just an absolute stud at 20 stud at no no no that guy never played in the miners this random twin of the week despite all those games played never once played in a playoff game not a single trip to the playoffs 13-year career no playoff games it’s not Ernie Banks yeah back in the old days it was harder to get to the playoffs that happened yeah never played in a playoff game after making the All-Star Game in his rookie year yep he made it in his sophomore year his second year in the big leagues okay but then never made it back to the All-Star Game whoa so Allstar career to start year one year two and then years three through 13 never made it back oh see that just took away another guess I had and we’ve done and we’ve done the guy I thought it might be because shoot 3 through 13 never made it back never played in a playoff game now also it’s none of those guys after retiring this random twin of the week spent time as a coach in the minor leagues and as a hitting coach in the major leagues a major league hitting coach who was a stud out of baseball in 30 but he never made playoffs yeah he was so he when he debuted in 20 he was out of baseball by the end of 32 so age 32 was last year in the big leagues obviously and we’ve know that guy played in the playoffs of those, 1300 games he played 1249 of them were at the same position so the same position mhm so that’s pretty wild okay so it’s either the dog outside’s mad trying to figure it out he’s trying to try to give me the answer this random twin of the week I don’t know if this is too much of a giveaway this random twin of the week his legal first name was not the name went by okay and it wasn’t like in my opinion close to his like it wasn’t like a nickname that was just like abbreviated like I kind of want to give you his legal first name but it might be too much of a giveaway his legal first name was Harold Butch weiner ding ding ding ding ding ding Butch wer Butch wer Butch wer I mean I was nowhere near that one congrats Jud that Jud had to get that one yeah had to get that one nice job Jud Butch weer wow twins Yankees Angels I mean he had a couple good career uh years in his middle years but like great promising start yeah and then kind of just was just a catcher just a backup yeah just kind of guy he got traded to the Yankees around the same time SMY did after they moved into the Metrodome so Jud you have tied Dean now with 14 career wins here nice job there so I’ll give out the clues maybe late next week when Dex gets back from from uh you know getting married and things like that this weekend in a honeymoon okay the the festivities are not over yet because the Twins were on the grid last week and we’ve been saving this one so let’s pop up the immaculate grid here basball for the YouTube audience we will explain this for the audio audience and this is an interesting one so here’s what we’re looking for and the more obscure answers we can deliver the lower the Rarity score and you know we’ve gotten as low as like four and five on the Rarity score so we’ll see what we can do damage wise we’re looking for a twin who was also once an a a twin who was a red and a twin who drove in a 100 in a season at some point we’re looking for a national or Expo who was an a a national Expo who was a red I have a couple great ones we’ve used we’ve used those squares before I’m pretty sure uh and then a an expo National who had a 100 ribs in a season and then we’re looking for and this is where things get dicey a rookie of the year who was an a a rookie of the year who was a red like they had to have won the Rookie of the Year I think with those teams that is correct yep yep and then a rookie of the year who also drove in a 100 in their rookie season so Jud is there anywhere in particular you would like to start you can start top left side with Kurt Suzuki former twin who was an who was a knat I think maybe a couple of times he was a knat yeah and was definitely an a Orlando Cabrera didn’t the Twins get him from the A’s I think they did when they traded for Orlando Cabrera who obviously spent a good amount of time with the Expos Red Sox Expos did he also maybe go back to the Nationals at point but yeah Expos for sure mhm the one that I had was we’ve used him before but he was an expo and then he he actually ended his career with the A and stayed in the Bay Area as a radio host on KBR FP santangelo oh it’s a good one uh Tyler clippard reliever also played for both these teams that’s right yep so there’s a lot of good choices mhm so I I mean between Kurt Suzuki who was the one Tyler clippard that’s a great one Tyler clippard and FP Santan I feel like Kurt might be a little cuz he was a catcher and he’s like within the last 10 years and like you know he made an allstar game with the twins and was pretty good when he came up with the A’s MH and FP Sant Angelo fairly prominent expose young player and then a radio host so let’s go with clippard clippard FP was an analyst on Nat’s games right yep he’s been Nats he’s been Giants he’s been A’s he’s been a talk show host 3% yeah clippard was a sort of a he was out there like he was a he was out there that’s a higher score than I thought it was going to be yeah yeah me too me too okay all right should keep going across Nationals XS Reds Reds okay so uh I don’t just Tony perz played for the Expos and he was a red okay did John Rous play for the Reds I don’t know for sure um I’ll give you the there was a there was an Austin Karns trade and I remember this because he was on one of my rotisserie baseball teams in I think it was 2008 that this happened and the other players involved included Bill Bray it was a trade between the Nationals and he play the Reds were sending Austin Karns to the Nationals and the trade involved also Bill Bray and Felipe Lopez infielder Felipe Lopez and reliever Bill Bray I just remember that trade Bill Bray yeah Bill BR I don’t remember Bill BR just kind of an obscure reliever here 06 to 12 yep got be super 4% Billy I think our best bet for a national Expo I mean there’s like the Ryan Zimmerman and um exp is go pluck Expos Like Larry Walker Gary Carter Tim wck Drive-In 100 oh that’s a great one Tim Wallock he was good I don’t recall if he drove in 100 rock Reigns was the top of the lineup I don’t know that he would he drove in runs Tim Wallock would be a great one Adam Dunn for the Nationals D Andre Dawson Hawk yeah now now Hawk flero Hawk’s GNA be I I think vlat and Hawk are going to be the most popular Expos Gary Carter would be up there but I’m not sure if you want to take a shot on I mean Gary Gary Carter is a Hall of Famer right so like did Maris Grom ever he was so good he was scoring a 100 I don’t know that cuz that Outfield was that Outfield was Felipe Aloo um Maris Grom and Larry Walker I kind of love the Tim Wallock idea and Felipe used to pee on his hands to toughen up those C yeah that’s disgusting um he was a good player the Expos had some badass teams man yeah oh the 94 team I just watched a documentary on them fantastic documentary Larry Walker on that one or no he was with the Rockies by then wasn’t he or did he no he was with the Expos and then he went to the Rockies like in 95 yep correct correct all right so what do you want to try here you want to try Tim Wallock that’s a great a like a really obscure awesome hitter from I don’t know he drove in 100 though he’s just a really good player like this this is I’m I’m okay taking a shot and being wrong here in the name of like because here’s the problem we know that Andre Dawson and Vlad Guerrero and Adam dun these guys are going to be like they’re going to Rune our Rarity score all right well if if you want to take the shot let’s take the shot okay I was gonna say maybe Dimitri young he finished there after being with the Tigers he had a couple big he was a big batting average guying big batting average dude and TOS after being with the Tigers but I would feel more comfortable with the Tigers than I would with theats I think all right so well let’s let’s make the call this could be it Tim walk Tim thank you 3% Timmy wall I was hoping for less than that I was what’s going on with these scores and now like the Rookie of the Year ones are going to be we can get to it later but like let’s I’ve got an A I got an A is one I like a lot for Rookie of the Year yes I got one too Walt Weiss oh when I was he was a rocky a Rocky’s manager wasn’t he yes he was butal go Houston Street but Houston Street’s good too Walt Weiss was okay let’s do Walt Weiss Walt let’s put the throw that win in there Weiss Weiss good short stop yeah 16 16% the problem is I don’t there’s how many so first of all rookie of the year can you hover over it didn’t start to like the 60s right 47 okay 47 so that’s very disappoint mathematically with all these teams there’s only going to be like a handful of Rookie of the years for every team our Rarity scores are ruined but there’s not like what were you going to do you know like even like so throughout Houston Street Mark Maguire they’re all going to be none of those are going to be 1% yep all right okay for Reds Chris Sabo is the only one I can think too but Sabo is going to be than than bench yeah I had a figure a Chris Sab action figurine when I was a and then and his daughter was a twins yeah she’s back home now the Reds 15% yeah we’re on non- bankrupt all right we might as well keep going okay Rookie of the Year 100 ribs Albert PS Mark Maguire I’m just so dishearten right now um did noblock Drive in 100 his rookie year m I don’t think so I don’t think so he’s at top of the order he might have scored 100 but oh he probably did Aaron judge well Aaron judge and Pete Alonzo both hit like 50 Jacks in their rookie years right yeah those guys came out of the gate leading the league in homers I’m trying to think of like a 50s or 60 or you know old school one but it doesn’t really matter at this point no that’s fine a judge whatever you want to do I mean let’s go let’s let’s let’s use Maguire then at least let’s go back at like you know 30 years 30 some years four four hey 4% okay there we go okay all right now we get to the twins part twins A’s we used Danny Valencia ton um Pat nesek Bobby kilty Bobby didn’t didn’t kilty go from Toronto to the A’s yes um he definitely played for the A’s Tommy Malone Tommy Malone yeah that’s a good one who was the uh is it uh uh Sam fold right superar Sam F Philadelphia now mhm he’s about to be World Championship boof bonser went to the a did he go to the A’s I don’t remember that a lot of good choices here went from twins to A’s I like boof little boof John bonser Grant bfor no he’s boof dude he changed his name show some respect to boo wasn’t his real name John right it was John but it was but then he changed it legally he’s really boo bonser I forget if he’s like a plumber or like an auto like oh you could see him with like plumber ass crack hanging on yeah yeah oh yeah for sure let’s we’ll go boof we all right boof boof boof point three okay we’re back we’re back I’m pretty sure we had a twins’s red square like last month cuz I remember us using Mike Lincoln yeah Jeff Jeff rear play for the the Reds pitch for the Reds I think JC Romero did didn’t he pitch for the Phillies for sure P Angels Kyle Lo Jared Burton Kyle Jared Burton yeah Jared Burton’s good Jared Burton um it’s gonna be really low Jared Burton I mean Mike Lincoln would be low too early 90s twins guy but but we used J Jared there we go nice point two okay what’s the rarest what’s the rarest J Willingham the hammer Willingham Kad did it once delman young in 2010 Cy yeah cuy 06 oh like 06 I think they’re a 90s one like like in in cuz they they could hit did Moler no that 96 team had to have a guy driving up Moor hit like 341 year maybe no yes yes so hold on Mader in like 96 or 97 wasn’t Moler one of the first first players to ever drive in 100 without hitting double digit homers oh that’s very possible I’m pretty sure that’s the case that’s very possible but that 96 could hit we can fire it it was either we’ll look it up after but I’m pretty sure in either 96 or 97 he had 100 ribs like 110 ribs and like eight home runs crazy okay fire it be right fire the bullet one nice let’s look it up hold on h molor no I bet you’re right I I vaguely recall that now that you mention it it’s it it never happens where you drive in 100 and don’t hit 10 home runs yep nice so here it is yep 1996 he hit 341 he led the league in hits as a 39y old 225 hits nine homers 113 RBI 18 stolen bases 41 doubles as a freaking 39-year-old yeah well and and that’s the team where where Pucket lost sight in spring training yeah or that lineup was loaded it still was without P but they wound up that team would have scored yeah they wound up like ranked pretty high in run scoring they didn’t hit home run they had no 20 home run hitters but they had noblock 341 moer 341 Marty Cordova 309 drove in 100 Dave Holland was a pretty good the Rookie of the Year thing screwed us I’m not going to lie right now I’m bitter about this it’s it’s hard though I mean go it up there there’s only like eight on each no I know but I mean Walt Weiss should not be 16% people shouldn’t remember him why do you people remember him stop remembering Walt Weiss let’s look at Walt Weiss’s rookie year give me back my Rookie of the Year Walt Weiss let’s see here he was a good player he had a nice career at shortstop 60 years old he turned I think he’s a coach still somewhere so he must have been a really weak crap for rookies in 1988 because you bite your tongue he won the Rookie of the Year award batting 250 with a 633 Ops three home runs we didn’t really look at Ops back then Phil what was he but he played good defense I bet and that helped him a ton and those a teams and those A’s teams were phenomenal about to say it was probably successful teams too it was a really that the late 80s A’s were great oh funny Walt Weiss and Chris Sabo both won the same year so we just we both guessed the same year Mark Grace finished second in the NL the NL had so here’s the NL players that year for Rookie of the Year Chris Sable Mark Grace Tim Belcher Ron Gant Roberto Alamar Greg Jeff Damon Barry Hill so like like actual players the AL was Walt Weiss Brian Harvey jod Reid Don August Dave Gallagher molo Perez Mike Scher and Cecil espie so I don’t remember Mike SCH baseball all right so Dex is going to take some time off to tie the knot and uh go do some things in Las Vegas best of luck this is your last Twin show then until after all these festivities right yeah we’ll come back with some BL it takes about a month to adjust totally I will War you bet uh Kelsey likes to put hers on anytime she gets her nails done I I don’t like to put it on cuz like when I did the fitting it kind of got a little stuck I’m not je and I’m terrified of it getting stuck before the ceremony so commment phobe oh you don’t have to put it on she she looks at as a commitment fobe I look at it as like what if it’s stuck on there and then we can’t and you’ve got no like once it’s on it’s yeah it’s on so if I was you the first time it goes back on is Saturday when she does it yeah exactly no you’re right no no no she’s wrong I’ll talk to her thank you let yeah let her know that on Saturday on Saturday yes on Saturday let her know that this is the scor North Twin show here good luck to the Dexter this weekend and uh twins study up on that list the judge just gave you okay hey poll ads 20 million next year for evaldi

  1. The bullpen might stand pat especially with Stewart comeing back. Funderburk could be moved as well as theibar. But I hope they did something to make thier bullpen more robust.
