  1. Well yes. Paying the most expensive position on the team will probably raise the amount they are paying. Probably exactly at the average.

  2. Looking at over the cap they are currently at $79m spent on offense and $137m on defense this year.

  3. Jordan is going to make more than any Packer ever. After a single season a game over .500. The NFL is wild.

  4. Beyond Love’s upcoming extension, the next Kenny Clark decision will impact this number bigtime. That’s IF it happens… I’m not 100% sold it will.

    I think we absolutely should extend Clark but Wyatt is up next in 2026 and if we see the expected progression of a 1st round pick then that contract will also be huge. Then you consider our WR room… lots of tough calls in the next couple years

  5. Hmmmm…I wonder if last year’s $67MM in dead cap and this year’s $50MM in dead cap might possibly have led to less cash spent on deals this year. It’s almost like the Packers have been squeezed by the salary cap by pushing money out to make 3 more runs at championship under Rodgers.
