all right it’s Bill here and it’s been a while but I’m going to give you my thoughts on the leaf season now if you go back to my first video at the end of the season so the SE the the end of the season video where I said all you idiots saying that it’s going to be bold changes like that little idiot with his colorful glasses talked about what did I say nothing’s going to change nothing and what’s happened nothing absolutely nothing window dressing what did I say Marner wouldn’t get traded they changed the coach we probably switched captaincy from taras to Matthews hasn’t happened will happen and we’ll do a little window dressing and we’ll run it back and this team doesn’t disappoint me in my predictions all these great YouTubers and bull crap analysts talking about Marner getting traded you can’t trade a guy who has a no trade clause and an agent that doesn’t negotiate deals until the deal runs out uh I don’t know which analyst or which of one of these Superstar uh reporters know any different but doesn’t happen that way so we got Marner for another year who’s surprised by this if you’re surprised by this you’re not very bright I’d also like to mention I don’t have to worry about like hopefully not uh taking down my TV anymore I got this nice little stand with a light and a microphone I look professional I guess now uh also I’d like to uh uh thank my parents and my wife and my daughter for getting that for me so hopefully I don’t banging anything where my phone falls down before I just had my phone up now I’ve got a nice little stand nice little cool thing happening here same background but anyways let’s get into the changes first of all Sheldon Keith fired Craig buuy hired who cares oh but Bill Craig baru was a tough guy first of all Craig baru was an awful player on the leafes an awful player the only reason I like Craig baru was because he was traded in the Doug Gilmore trade that’s the only reason to like Craig baru but he’s going to make the team tougher bull S I got initials they’re called BS tell me tell tell me how tough St Louis Blues were please fire away did he make Jordan cyou tougher no I’m pretty sure Jordan Kyu made fun of him the minute he got fired so Jordan Kyu very similar player to Mitch actually not even similar player to Mitch Mar he’s way tougher than Mitch marter he’s going to change Mitch marter into this forceful mean person he’s going to change neander into taking strides every shift and he’s going to trade Matthews now to get a t tumm in the playoffs that’s what Brew is going to do well he’s got no history of it what Brew did was run a hot goal tender to the Stanley Cup Jordan Bennington made Craig baru Craig baru’s playoff record 466 466 that means he loses more games in the playoffs than he wins and by the way he won a Stanley Cup and he still has a losing record in the playoffs he’s got a much worse record in the regular season so we should look forward to that I think we may have a chance this year I’m not even having to worry about the playoffs we’ll just get it done in the regular season and be done horrible sign horrible see see this little rose-colored little Keith py you you wear your happened two weeks ago Joel quinnville is no longer suspended now that would be a good coach to hire that’ be a winning coach but you know what would happen if you did that move you get Flack you’d have people complaining oh what about this what about he’s a winner if only you care about is winning you hire Joel quinnville are you telling me that Joel quille is not as good as a coaches as Craig brube but again we listen to these idiots lie to us and yet they don’t hire the best coach out there they hire a coach who’s available who’s won a cup they can try to sell that to us thank you Jordan Bennington Craig bruy is not a good coach let’s take a look at his record he had one two Good Seasons with the St Louis Blues he was mid with the Philadelphia Flyers 500 record with the Flyers nearly 600 with St Louis although one season stands out but he’s going to make our team tougher you know okay great they did I will say there was a couple good moves uh they did get rid of Bobby bue great maybe we’ll change the power play not to go through John taras that would make a lot of sense and I think they hired Mark svard okay well Mark sard will look at John taras and go no thank you we won’t go through John Tas on the power play anymore that would just make a lot of sense okay you got buub let’s start in the net that’s probably the only thing I can probably get half decent okay with I think they have improved in net Samson off out stallers in money coming in less than what it was before fine that moves fine no problem for me stolar was a good goalie backup 6’7 again he’s going to understand he doesn’t play for the Florida Panthers anymore and he’s got the Toronto Maple EA defense in front of him so it’s probably not going to be as great as numbers but to me I don’t see the issue with wall I might be the only one who doesn’t it’s his injuries maybe but I think wall is a damn good goalie you don’t need to put the money there I think you’re all right there I think they sign Matt Murray as a third who cares you got stolar you got wall fine the Nets better then we go to the D the D has been atrocious for a long time and after the signings it’s still atrocious Chris tanov is 34 years old he’s been signed till he’s 40 uh just if you if you need exhibit a on that one Mark Giordano signed him so we’ll probably get one maybe two good years out of 10 of and then we’re going to have four disgusting ones for the price tag that we get now I get it they probably put throw can throw them on rob. Island maybe so we get two seasons of TANF is that an upgrade over leushin maybe a little bit so I’ll give you a little bit of a plus there o Oliver emman Larson played on the Florida Panthers in a system played well when he played on a similar team Vancouver he did not play well running gun what do you think the least play he play running gun what is Oliver emman Larson going to do for the leavs be a dis appointment is going to be my guess so do the Leafs get better on defense I’m not sure I don’t I see all these people there they really cranked up the defense the Chris tanov is the best right-hand defenseman they’ve had in a long time shut up Chris tanov well that’s shooting it out of the park isn’t it Chris tanov Woo color me excited does he hit good Edmonson hit he’s a 34 foury old defenseman on the end of his career and we should get really excited about this what are we in the freaking Ken Dryden Pat Quin years why don’t we just go get jurk lume while we’re at it the best right-hand defense we have is Demitrius scavage and guess what jich skage was much younger than Chris tanv I’m going to suspect tan is going to have two good years the four third fourth fifth and six it will be disappointment Oliver Eckman Larsson will be a disappointment I’ve seen him play with Vancouver I watched a lot of the late games he was terrible he went to Florida yeah okay Florida plays a system maybe Craig Ruby’s got a system in him I don’t know okay so Goldies we get a little bit better forwards or sorry defense You could argue a little bit better maybe and then didn’t we hire a 6’7 guy who doesn’t have a knee that was a brilliant move I don’t know if he signed is he not signed sign him the guy traveling ding ding ding ding ding ding talks about he signed him and then the guy like I didn’t sign him and then he didn’t sign him you tell me what’s happening with [ __ ] and poo or hack and poo or whatever the freaking guy’s name is it’s only it’s a disaster being a Lea fan you know that forwards do we get better no we signed DOI we lost bruzi how do we get better on forwards okay you’d argue forwards weren’t the issue H how many goals have we scored in the playoffs we have less playoff forwards than we did at the beginning of the offseason because Tyler bzi played well in the playoffs so who’s going to be this new Bobby McMahon Bob Bobby McMahon’s gonna come up and show up Bobby McMahon has played in the NHL for what one year if that how do you know what he’s going to be like I hope he’s fantastic I think Matthew n will get better no doubt but where what else you going to do with that forward do me it’s not better so defense got a little bit better goalie got a little bit better and the Fords got worse and we certainly lost a playoff performer and I’m supposed to get excited now I’m going to go back to you know the the colored glasses there Keith p and and Brad tror ling ding ding ding and shanan talking about bold moves the Bold name the Bold move they did they haven’t done nothing bold signing Chris tanov is bold really bold I would suggest their offseason last when they got DOI and bruzi was more bold than this one why do you give press conferences and talk about stuff that you never do oh we think we need to be changes what changes did you make and you know why you couldn’t make changes cuz you mismanaged the year before and let you gave to him and you he’s with an agent that never negotiates an extension so no team’s going to trade for him without an extension would you expect the agent to change his methodology halfway not be a hockey player that would be one of the biggest insults you could make to a hockey player that they’re sensitive Sheldon Keef was aware criticizing Mitch Marner because he was sensitive you know who should be sensitive a goddamn poet and artist someone in M Maybe music sensitive that’s a great way to describe someone if you’re a poet you want to be sensitive you got better words or whatever songs you write better songs you’re sensitive you might be a better person I don’t know better people are sensitive I don’t know but a hockey player being described as sensitive that’s like the worst thing you could call a hockey player and we get stuck with him because of the moves last year again if you go back to my videos you you might know but if you go back to my videos from from they’re going to make the playoffs I hope I’m wrong about that but even if they do make the playoffs if you’ve done something since 2017 18 1819 1920 2021 2022 22 23 24 or 23 24 and you think something’s going to change in 2425 when you’ve already run it by eight years I think there’s a thing called Insanity a definition as Le fans guess what we are at least we’re not sensitive we’re insane uh again I’ll probably do some more videos if they do something else but I frankly I’m not even excited about it uh if anyone’s interested I’m going to be doing some darts videos on the world match play again probably different crowd different area but uh I’m going to enjoy it again I like this equipment here I’m I feel free I can move around without having to worry about my phone falling down I got a microphone and I don’t need a light but I I got a light on it too and I guess I can hold it up and do like some cool stuff but I’m probably not going to do that also you know you know what I forgot ah the John tver countdown I’m going to get this on uh on uh the um on my video I’m going to put it on the video if I can I got to figure out the editing I’m trying to figure that out but you know me I’m not going to be able to do that so he is uh his contract will end on June 30th at midnight so we’re gonna say July 1st at 12:01 he will not be a leaf anymore so if we do the countdown clock on this we are currently at 300 and 55 days 4 hours 58 minutes and 50 seconds until we no longer have to put up a jity at least that’s something to look forward to next season cheers
