they go with fber Valdez against this Marlins offense yeah this is an excellent matchup on paper for fber Valdez they are not very good against left-handed pitching on the season and he sends this one in the air playable for Jake Myers and Jake will put it away for the first out of the inning chisums retired for the first out here’s Brian deor Cruz line drive right there is John single in on a NO2 pitch Tor Cruz lines out for the second out swing and a miss got on another curveball Burger strikes out and it’s a one two three first for fber Valdez for hoing this will be his 13th game but his second start loss against the White Soxs Friday night in his return off the iil Altuve back at the Box waiting for another 02 here it is and Altuve lifts this one in a shallow Center racing out bride coming in Chism Chism Dives he can’t get it it bounces behind him Altuve a big turn at first but Myers came and backed up the play to prevent Altuve from getting another 90 ft it’s a bloop single for Jose he’s aboard for Alex bregman 2 two bregman lines it in the center field right at Chism moves a couple of steps to his left makes the waist highe catch bregman hit it hard but he is the first out Altuve takes off and that is outside ball four and yordon draws the one out walk Astros have Tan on Altuve takes off both runners go pitches inside found it a second by Sanchez and Alvarez beats it Clos play at second Altuve took off Alvarez saw that so he went as well and it’s a double steal for the Astros table set for Yer Diaz in field in 3-1 pitch to Yer is sent over the head of the first basem into right field one run scores Here Comes yordon Myers has a good arm and yordon is out at home plate Astros get a run on the base hit by Diaz and it is one- nothing Houston a good throw by Meyers charging that baseball to cut down yordon one and two the count to the short stop and the pitch is swung on at m strike three and the side is retired and the Astros lead one nothing as we go to the second he will work on Josh Bell who starts the second that’s a fair ball right down the right field line bounces off that sidewall and right to L peredo so that will keep Bell at first base the onew and that’s hit in the air out to right field to his right low peredo waiting for it and he makes the catch for out number one Bell back to first that’s could be the double play ball he’s looking for though robber’s 21st double play ball of the Year there we go there’s the ground ball when needed one- nothing Astros Singleton left-handed hitting first baseman for the Astros John Singleton sends one through the middle Big John who didn’t have a hit last night back on the hit train as he sends one back through the box for a leadoff single here in the second now Jake Meers will bat Jake hits one well into left center field back goes J Chisum he’s near the wall he will reach up it’s off the wall Chism is down on the warning track Singleton’s going to be waved around here comes the relay throw home John is safe Astros lead two to nothing Jake Meers with his 37th RBI and a good read by Singleton he was already past the second base bag as that ball went off the wall so the infield nothing my goodness that was a Moon shot to right field deep into the seats L profito out of the nine hole that is dangerous 02 to bregman Chopper softly hit left side hoing over bare hands throws to had six double plays turned behind him in his last two starts two-run home run for Joey his second Major League home run and Joey hits this ball hard to center field back goes Jaz Chisum Jr he will not get the ball as it bounces off the fence Joey’s got a homer followed by a triple he’s going for the cycle in Reverse got a bad way to do it he’s got two of the toughest components of that cycle out of the way low peredo on third infielders are in little Tapper right side croin is going to come home and the throw is going to go by the catcher Sanchez scoring his low peredo the Astro score on the missc by Cronin and it got by The Catcher And the Astros score at six nothing and for the first time tonight the Marlins have a man in scoring position now it’s going to be Xavier Edwards with two on and one out and a ground ball through the left side a base hit green light around third here comes the throw it’s cut off and Rivera scores so another base hit for Edwards and the Marlins make it six to one fber was able to get his ground ball but this one found a hole on the left side of the infield one two did he go around he sure did says Larry Van over at first could hold up on the 1. 2-0 against Miami including Loperfido Second career HR will definitely be able to sweep Miami tomorrow!!

Who will be here tomorrow night again?? Let me know!!! There’s a little chance I might see you there!!

  2. This is the way the offense should look. Scoring some runs in different innings throughout the game, rather than just a couple or a few in one. Excellent performance on O and D but, then again, it IS the Marlins.

  3. I was at pool league, so I didn’t see much.. But I was wondering why the CF checked up on Loperfido’s triple?.. Then I saw Jake’s double here..

    “Oh”… Direct quote.. lol..

  4. Why in the flying hell are we making yordan run? I dont want to see him ever trying to steal a base or even rounding third unless its clear as day that he will make it. I get so nervous watching him run and slide….this dude is lumbering like a sack of potatoes and the fact that hes has multiple knee surgeries.

  5. That wall crash by Chisholm definitely had him rattled. The second hit out there he was more worried about the wall and missed the catch. Good game astros!
