you’re to here in Vegas now you’re one of the older guys on the team how are you taking on more of a leadership role here um since I’ve been here before been a part of the uh the program I’m just trying to tell guys like how we do things here uh what we do on the floor what we do off the floor how we carry ourselves so it’s been fun uh taking this taking this type of role even though last year I was here I was a little lost I don’t know what’s going on so I know some of our radies like tone and and V like they’re still learning so I’m trying to teach as much as I can even though I’m still learning I’m still a young player uh so yeah what have you seen from the two rookies so far I mean uh tone can shoot the ball uh very well can handle um very calm and composed uh easy to freak athlete can uh protect the rim um I mean they’re still learning they still learning as as as me as well so um it’s it’s going to be fun learning with those guys and and how they uh develop throughout the year seeing how they develop for you what are you working on here what can you take advantage of just this extra time to get to get some you know game time in um yeah I’m taking on like uh like you said the leadership role trying to uh get more of a playmaking role on the court um of course shoot the ball um but try to take the playmaking role uh translated into the Pelicans organization and we actually get to start playing so um yeah in your two what are you focused on as far as growing your game um all definitely the defensive been trying to get on the floor first and foremost I think that’s what held me back a lot of times last year was not being able to guard so I think this year my my big focus is on being able to guard uh guards and try to guard Wings try to get bigger um like I said playmaking role and shooting uh being a 40% three-point shooter for our team cuz I mean you know we got guys that can penetrate uh get to the hoop I just got to be able to knock those shots down open the open the floor for him and we’re keeping all our teeth this year hopefully I don’t know I still got the fake one in so I don’t know I hope we do thanks thank you h
