pitch that missed low and he walked him Brian Reynolds going to his second All-Star Game he deals an 02 and did he go he did a strike out Reynolds is upset but he’s gone one of those curve balls down out of the strike zone Reynolds fooled Lin vrag Rings him up down at third base and now Cruz contr sets up away the pitch dribbled up third it’s going to stay fair and at the last moment monasterio have been the best two out run scoring team in the major leagues they have a chance with two outs here in this second inning two2 monasterio Strikes Out Swinging on that down and in spinker four strikeouts for skin Brewers leave on Two And McCutchen with the Pirates second hit two away runner at first for O’Neal Cruz here comes and a swing in a Miss he got him with a breaking ball and the inning is over the fifth for seali Paulk back to work bottom of the third inning 3-2 coming Perkins struck out swing and 99 blew the heat right by him five strikeouts the first time through the order svali and that that will be the end of his day Brian Hudson will enter Brian Reynolds at the plate on the ground monasterio to Second out there throw to first and it is dug out by Bowers wow what a play it ends the inning Jake Bowers with a Jem the batting average leader in the National League facing a pitcher who is yet to surrender a hit round ball backand Gonzalez nice play by Nick Gonzalez one away here in the bottom of the seven to Damas who has struck out twice and the Fly ballway they can get this out two quick ones and the catch made and once again swinsky lays out this time to avoid a collision yes very fortunate right there that could have been really bad goes to it until you hear the outfielder call you off and and swinsky did not call for it and somehow doen missed him Paul Skenes went 7 scoreless innings and set a franchise record recording 7+ strikeouts in eight consecutive starts and tied his career high of 11 strikeouts in a single game. Yasmani Grandal hit an RBI double in the 7th inning to bring home Jack Suwinski to put the Bucs up 1-0. Colin Holderman and Aroldis Chapman finished the game to secure the Pirates win and take the series.
