so this is the big question and I feel like we are in a bit of a pickle like the Guardians were last night and luckily they couldn’t get around it but I said I wish we were talking about extending Jack flarity and not trading him wow great work today six Innings one run the best signing of the Scott Harris era mhm that’s where I’m at it’s like I wish we were talking about extending him but we are not because we’re not in a situation to be actually contending for a wild card spot in my eyes because we did we did dig this hole so deep where I just don’t know if this team’s can realistically get out of it do you guys see this team remaining hot where you can justify not selling a Jack flarity and trying to extend him moving forward no I can’t I I don’t see that happening unfortunately obviously you’d like to resign him and bring him in but I think we’re dealing with a little Fool’s Gold here and you know maybe the Tigers lose six in a row after the All-Star break and Caleb’s back to hating his life and everybody thinks that that the tigers are are back off of the horse so I think you should try to move him and I think he’s going to price himself out to to Chris illich because we know Chris illage doesn’t want to spend money on anybody so if a guy is putting up stats like this he’s not going to come back for $8 million a year again like you’re going to have to pay him or whatever I think he’s at 14 or something like that but he’s going to want more than that he’s going to want in the 20s and I don’t know if Chris illich is going to be willing to pay him that much yeah I think this was kind of the plan no matter what happened this season we were going to bring him in on a one-year deal and hopefully have Chris feder you know check cuz he wasn’t very good last year he had he had command issues a lot he was trying to overthrow he was throwing 9798 but he didn’t know where it was going um so now you know Chris Chris feder changed his slider you know gave him his command and I think now we got to trade him for for pieces I think that was Scott Harris’s plan the time whether we like it or not if it were up to me I’d see kind of what the market was for Jake uh Jack flare um if if he wanted to do like a three-year deal $18 you know million a year $20 million a year I think I’d do that cuz that’s your that’s your number two guy behind scuba right now M isn’t working out I mean ree Olson is going to be our number three you don’t know what you got in Matt Manning I think this is a guy that could be in the rotation for the next 5 years but but who knows I but like I said I think I think Scott Harris’s plan is to move on [Music]
