[Applause] all right and the SP goes to Patrick momes accepting on behalf of Patrick momes is his coach Andy [Applause] Reed I just appreciate she didn’t dismantle me up here um listen I I am honored to be here to uh pick up this award for for Patrick um I listen I I’ve been around this kid for a few years now and uh to watch him grow as a football player as a teammate um as a leader has been phenomenal but really more than that to watch him grow uh as a father and as a husband has probably been the best part of that it’s uh it’s a real tribute to him and listen we’re very lucky to have him in Kansas City all of us are uh in the National Football League really but really uh in Kansas City we we appreciate all he does for for the city in itself and and obviously for for the organization um listen I I would also say that um I in behalf of Patrick uh he knows this is a a a team award he would wanted me to make sure and I uh that I say that um he he is all about the team I I’ve heard people get up here some great coaches get up here and talk and do a phenomenal job and and and players likewise athletes uh but this kid comes in the Huddle every day every practice and says let’s be great and it doesn’t come out like it’s corny right uh the guys the gu respect it and they understand it and that’s how he goes about his business on and off the field my hat goes off to him for that and again behalf of uh Patrick um thank you to the SBS and to all our all our great fans uh and chief uh Chief Nation there we we appreciate all that they they do in supporting us so thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  6. Lamar is better athlete Mahomes is a better passer of the football. But since this is an athlete award it should go to Lamar

  37. Love how andy emphasized the type of person he is. Hope I get to watch him play as an athlete. Born and raised a Giants fan, but you gotta respect greatness and witness it for yourself when you can.
