all right Paul George coming to the east coast wear in a New Jersey next season he decided to leave LA to Head East to the City of Brotherly Love signing a four-year $212 million max deal I mean that might twist my arm he’ll be joining up with Tyrese Maxi former MVP Joel embiid in hopes of challenging the Celtics for the Eastern Crown PG-13 spoke on what it would be like to team up with embiid and the Sixers on his podcast podcast P it’s a dream come true like you you know having a a star point guard and a star big you know that’s that’s a that’s a crazy Dynamic I think we have a a a hell of a starting five um and then we got veteran guys coming off the bench um so we already have a recipe to be a really good team um ultimately winning a championship means the most in the the only thing I’m I’m trying to do at this point in my career podcast already rocking the New Jersey looking good in the blue Courtney let’s get into it Sixers are they the biggest threat to take down the Celtics this season no of in the east in theast the east in the East I still think the Boston Celtics are the biggest threat to themselves that would be like Health all of those things they resigned everybody they spent like a billion dollars on this roster more or less uh throughout the last couple of weeks to make sure they can go after a second NBA title after winning 64 games in the regular seon season this group is loaded and they’re not this team that’s like focused on a big three or like predicated off of a big three they have an eight-man rotation more or less like they can go eight deep and everybody contributes in a different way let’s not forget They just won a title without having christops porzingis for the majority of the postseason but behind them I have to say it’s a New York Knick I’m sorry like I love the additions that they made to create the recreate the villain NOA wild cats this year going out in first off the ogn and Obi resigning him when they had the chance to do that I love that Mel Bri Mel Bridges having him in there as well the defensive in efficiency intensity all of those things you get from him that replaces at least some of what you lose with Isaiah hartenstein who then ends up going to the Oklahoma City Thunder the way that the Knicks are constructed to me because we’ve talked about the big three and Paul George now joining that with Tyrese Maxi and Joel embiid I think that’s kind of like out of Vogue that’s not the way that you have to win in the NBA in 2024 and I also think it’s going to take some time for that big three to gel we have not seen a three a super team three star Trio formed win right away in the NBA since what LeBron when he was with the heat like that was a long time ago so they even took a year yeah the Celtics will Pro excuse me the 76ers might be there in 2025 I think it’s going to take a year for them to get there but the Knicks right now the way they are constructed the moves that they made in free agency to surround Jaylen Brunson they also get uh Julius Randle back remember he wasn’t healthy for the postseason that’s probably the most complete team outside of the Boston Celtics in the East I’ll start with this with the Knicks uh love every move that they made right because everything that we see these teams are doing in free agency especially in the east side is to Dethrone the Boston Celtics so their team can go to the NBA Championship when I look at New York I say to myself we know Jaylen Brunson is a closer Julius randle’s coming back back um but who’s going to be that third Bonafide score I think you have a lot of role players when it comes to the Knicks when I look at the Philadelphia 76ers and why I believe this big three is different from a big three that we’ve that we’ve seen in a long time is that their big three is a Bonafide guard that can get Buckets at any given time a wing guy that can score at all three levels in the paint mid-range three-point line who can also defend on both like on the defensive end but then you have a big as well a true traditional big that has the skill set of guards so I do view the Philadelphia 76 as their big three as different from Big threes that we’ve seen in the past because of you know the the positions that these three different players play but I love the surrounding pieces them being able to get Caleb Martin from the Miami Heat was a steal for the Philadelphia 76ers I love the Andre drumming signing because you do need someone to back up Joel andb Eric Gordon now don’t get me wrong Eric Gord is not going to go out there and lock somebody down and go between the legs there Reas he signed a that minimum deal at this point of his career but but the points you’re making on the bench think about what happened in the playoffs this year where we look at like the to Tobias Harris Tobias Harris as a third scorer was not that guy for them now you add a Paul George in that role I think he’s going to you know play a a a vital role in in that position for the 76ers but I I like The Supporting Cast I like the guy that they drafted Jared McCain out of Duke what about Miami I think they lost free agency one of the I’d put them in that category what about Miami what about Miami they they had they had ma without trying to go to Miami no I’m just saying they had major injuries last year nope nope nope nope I honestly I have the Indiana Pacers I hope UD is watching UD my brother played with UD in Miami yeah I hope is a great dude South Florida boy but I have the Indiana Pacers I have the Cleveland Cavaliers higher than I have the Miami heat right now okay what Indiana was able to do last season and what they learned is that you know what okay we got our experience and they’re going to come back they’re going to be a team that you know you can’t keep your eyes off either uh Matan was a guy that was hurt didn’t even play in the playoffs for the Indiana Pac you look at the four games that they played versus the Boston Celtics hell three of them they should have won and they had leads in those games as well so when when I look at the East I think Philadelphia because also not only do they have a different type of big three you have three guys that can get you a bucket at any given time in a game too and having that Bonafide third person now allows Joel embiid in my opinion to take a RIS so you like that Paul George left the Clippers I I just can’t say one thing on the East isn’t it funny that we don’t talk about the Milwaukee Bucks like they just like fell off the face of yeah you’re right
