this Brew’s offense looked at emic yesterday Paulk made it look easy now they’re going to get a is this where are the Brewers just going to dust off the bats today and and get after it I I don’t know much about Jackson rutage what do you got on this guy there’s there’s not much he made I think he made four starts at the end of last year two of them were bad two of them were were solid uh this is more of just sort of like a gut play than anything else I think a lot of this goes off of the conversation we had on Monday when we were just looking at like the last 10 games for like every team in baseball and like every single team had won like five of their last 10 I think teams are getting into the break you’ve got Milwaukee coming off just the embarrassment performance you know understandably so against Paul is it embarrassing is it embarrassing I don’t know still you get they were in that game that saali man savali Sali pitched really well the big perplexing question like like I don’t even know if I’m ever gonna bet that guy yeah my take is this I I don’t think we know enough about enough about rutage um I’m not incredibly high on Freddy Peralta yeah I think he’s on paper he’s definitely better than better than Rel but he has blowout potential this Nats team has been Scrappy over the last couple of weeks um again the additions the James would I feel like ever since Lane Thomas came back a couple weeks ago they just overall they starting to click a little bit so yeah I’m I’m buying the dog here I I I think that I think the the juice on the Nats money line was attractive to me I took the Nats money line at plus what we get I think plus 198 you g me 85 I’m looking at right here you give me you g me close to two to one uh again right before the break on a team that is Hit or Miss I will take it I’m gonna I’m G to buy some stock in the N today Nat money line Nat money line and I’m looking at the Dale junor parlay today what a juicy number on two games getting a hell of a number there uh be what do we think here we back in Jackson rutage against Freddy I know Freddy Peralta used to be up there in the base winner rankings I don’t know where he’s at now but I know he used there was a time that he spent some time in that top there he’s there top he’s like the he’s like that starting rotation is interesting maybe they’ll get something out of savali I kind of roll my eyes but I again you know caldi coming into the year had a 32.7 or something strikeout percentage last 150 so he’s got it in him but like as far as this game goes uh yeah Peralta’s number 20 good strikeout percentage 87 percentile Pretty Good Stuff Plus 71st percentile great hard hit per n 95th percentile and he’s going up against I we’ve got to see this so so there’s how many Jacksons are like I guess this is a popular name when people having baby like 20 years ago but like the one thing that I’m thinking when I’m when I’m looking at this is we haven’t seen it I don’t think this is too far of a stretch Kyle a Jackson Jackson when is this gonna happen I’m betting on I’m gonna call it here it then what Jackson Jackson I’m putting in the base winter par like how many how many Jackson can we name real quick Jackson Rutledge Jackson Chio uh Jackson Jackson Merill Jackson Brown Jackson Brown Michael Jackson Jack Jack from no no Jackson R not a Jackson act Jackson holiday right uh God there’s a lot Jackson guy the Jackson guy in San Diego Jackson Merill he could be Merill Jackson for all we for all we care you know but that I think that that’s just a real popular name just looking at this name and it is having handicapped baseball for 50 years I I I think it’s interesting because there was I don’t think there was any Jacksons in the 80s let’s see if we can pull up a Jackson from the80s guys other than Michael Jackson you know he he he I had to do that I had to do that it’s like you know Mary Jane the name Mary Jane in the 80s and 90s you know all the hippies from the 60s started naming their kids after weed and then you know it just beca it became that hipster thing to do you know a little while ago and when people get on that train you know their dad if your name’s Jackson your dad probably wore a puka shell necklace we call him poo cats and they don’t even know how to start the quads out in the desert they’re just they’re just lame but uh sorry I got got us way off on a tangent let me just give you what I have at pric I got it priced atus 358 we’ve got Jackson rutl in there at 30% worse these are steamer projections are bad the Zips projections are bad all the projections are bad for rutage we’re looking at a top 10 and I disagree with the market I think the the Brewers offense is top 10 and that would indicate from the last 500 base runs created as aggregated by the by the lineup their 10th and baseball pretty decent lineup and then the bullpen the way I do the bullpens they eighth and uh the Nationals are decent they’re 16th but you put it all in the mixer and I think it’s a really good opportunity to go first leg of the Bas winter parlay a full game today um um Milwaukee what are we doing it with today Kyle we’re going to do it with sunny sunny sunny can’t you see the pitches you throw hypnotize me and because I’m warming up for the for the other one it’s going to be the the base winter WAP today is going to be mostly Kyle he’s he’s got the start he’s got the lead and I no pressure Kyle and I think Kenny like before the show like when I went to get my cup of coffee I think think Kenny’s got a little part in it too so I’m really excited about seeing if that happens today yeah stay tuned for the Q&A our base winner rap has not won not two but three performers and we never got that because we had a bad sport last year on on Fridays we won’t Point names Corby Corby and uh wait was he on the Friday one was it him last year on Fridays it was yeah it was Corby he was terrible he he you know Corby was really good for the facial reactional he was really good at that but like you know got to give Kenny some props first of all the handicapping has been brilliant but secondly when he’s been asked to do the base WI a rap he remember he did the woo on the to the window the wall balls yeah he’s a team player and we threw him into the action what three minutes before the show started we said this is what you’re doing and he’s just like yeah got it you know got it he’s good he’s been in all serious he’s been a great he’s been a great addition to the show he provides a lot really good look at games and I think that the interesting thing for me at doing the show is that like he’ll have a different take than the game and he made some really good points on his take and I have a completely different take so I think that getting that that that balance so you can kind of fit it into if you guys are in the chat box watching the show you can kind of fit it into that o your own mold and that’s what this is all about is is is is coming up with it listening to us and saying well base Winner’s full of on that one I don’t I I agree with Kenny I’m going to bet the Nationals know that’s what this is all about Kyle I think the moral the moral of the story here is I will do anything for anything there you go that’s right I’ll try anything twice anything you name it I’ll try it uh for purposes of the show we got a couple plays here we’re locking in the gats money line for Kenny at plus 185 we’re locking in the Brewers money line as the first leg of the base winner parlay and also the first leg of the Dale Jr parlay at plus 330 Ken’s going to take the Nat’s double result as a part of I for I forgot forgot to elaborate on that so I’m I’m taking I’m taking the Nats money line as just like a standard play and then I’ve got a half I have a half unit parlay on the grossest double result parlay in like the history of handicapping but first leg of that is going to be the gats double result we I don’t know if you’re getting hit by that but it looks like there’s rain just pounding down on the East Coast after that massive Heat Wave it sort of makes sense because I saw what games in New York Boston I’ve got the weather up going I just read you the three that are in so uh a at Phillies plenty of rain plenty of rain around leading up to the first pitch not much rain after first pitch I think they could get away with a late start in play we’ll have to see New York Baltimore essentially a carbon copy of what we’re seeing in Philly rain early but it mostly falls apart around game time late start and play seems like the most likely outcome and then Rockies at Mets like Baltimore like Philly some scatter storms early cleaning up this evening so all these games it sounds like they could potentially start late but I think we’re going to be safe bombs away dude you even got the weather graphic you see that I mean that was beautiful here so yeah keep keep an eye on those games on the East Coast there’s some there’s some weather things going on what he got beat up I know I’m talking a lot but I have to interject the weather thing was so beautiful those guys are doing such the only thing I asked for and I I I this would be really cool if it gets done by the end of the year is that during that weather thing like we get like just maybe not subliminal but enough to see like a
