What a day this was!

In Nov 2019, I was fortunate to have the opportunity with a group of Veterans from Leidos to play in a Salute to Service flag football game with a group of Ravens Legends at halftime of the Texans game. Jacoby was on my team. He was the coolest dude, and he was exceedingly happy to be mixing it up with a bunch of spares like us. All of the Ravens were fun to be around and really welcomed us but Jacoby was really, really fun to be around. I think he still knew everyone on staff under the stadium by first name and they all gravitated to him. Was a great day but made even greater because Jacoby was there.

Although he was only with the club for a few years, he was a comet during that time. He was the personal architect of at least 4 or 5 of the top 10 most iconic plays in team history. Mile High Miracle, SB 47 70 yard TD catch and run, SB 47 KO return, KO return during Vikings snow game and Thanksgiving KO return vs Steelers when Tomlin stepped on the field to get in his way.

Gone way, way too soon.

RIP, Jacoby. Keep dancin’!
