In all fairness to him, some folks aren’t cut out to be *the* guy but are good in supporting roles.
…but man, between Fit and Hurney, imagine looking at the Panther’s org over the last decade and be like “yeah, those guys are folks that can do their jobs”.
Imagine you get to a be GM and you have DJ Moore, CMC, Burns etc. and you trade away the first two relatively quickly and expect them to be quickly replaceable

I will defend Scott on this, when he was under a superior GM in Schneider, he wasn’t a problem. I’m predicting being under Peters will also be great for him. He’s probably a capable guy when he’s answering to great GMs, but he can’t be a GM himself
