Really cool. Glad he received the honor
Saw him return one against the Vikings at Soldier.
It was December. Like 12 degrees out. Cold as fuck with the wind off the lake. Grossman blew – threw for like 34 yard.
It was fucking awesome. I believe Benson had a TD, and Vasher returned an INT for a TD that game. Poor Vikes had Tavaris Jackson out there, if I recall correctly after Brad Johnson got hurt or benched.
It was cold my dad’s french onion dip froze during the tailgate.
One of my best memories of me, my brothers, and my dad.
My oldest brother was actually in the bathroom for all three TDs. Lol
Hester deserves the fuck out of this.
I got to meet him 5 years ago when the NFL opened with Bears/Packers for the 100 year anniversary. He was very cool. Told him I only saw the last 10 yards of his opening TD kickoff return at the Super Bowl cause I was just getting the chicken wings ready to bring in!
I thought they got it in Canton. I didn’t realize it was shipped to their house.
as a Bears fan Thank You Devin, do not give this man the slightest opening, he will run right past you.
