  1. I’d like to see this normalized to number of games(regular season) because our seasons are now 17. His were less for all of his seasons. It probably won’t be a huge difference, but there is a difference. (First 100 gamesish)

  2. did people rip manning for his turnovers as much as allen or is it just because of the non stop sports coverage we have now?

  3. Playoff success may not be a QB stat, but it’s incredibly important in the NFL. JA won’t be talked about the same way as the greats like Manning until he wins a Superbowl.

  4. What about the other great QBs, like Montana, Marino, Kelly, or heck, that guy Brady?

  5. Manning led the league in passing yards twice in those 6 years, and was top 3 each year. Josh hasn’t been better than 4th. Manning led the league in TD passes once in those 6 years. Josh had never done it. Manning had an MVP, Josh does not.

  6. The thing everyone forgets is when the games are “in the clutch”. Need to win performance. 1 stands up and the other sits down.

  7. I’ll say it and say it again. Allen since 2020 has been 1A 1B with Mahomes. They just love to put Allen down because he hasn’t had the same playoff success and will mention his turnovers. Even though in the playoffs he turns over the ball less than anyone.

Turnover narrative never made sense to me because if you look at guys like Brady, Brees, Favre, Manning, Marino. All those guys had more ints than Allen in their first 6 seasons. But they only talk about Allen. Even though he’s scored more TDs than anyone.

  8. I love JA. I’d give him a smooch if he’d let me. However, I find it weird how we always cherry pick stats in these instances. I’ll agree that total TDs are super important for Allen (15 rushing TDs is insane), so why don’t we do total turnovers?

With that said, I’m on record saying the only area Mahomes is substantially better than Allen is in getting drafted to a better organization. Allen on those Chief teams realistically has as many Super Bowl wins. Unfortunately, the world isn’t ready to hear that.

  9. Josh Allen is a 2020’s version of Brett Favre.

    Highly talented gunslinger-

    gonna take chances he shouldn’t

    Win games he shouldn’t

    Lose games he shouldn’t
