  1. Stanton was doing something similar for a while, but more to the sides of his head. Looks like they’re phasing out the dawgs hand gesture for this?

  2. Every year they have some kind of unique basehit celebration. Last year it was making a circle with your hands. The year before that it was the tapping of the elbow.

    Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. But I’m sure there were others.

  3. Used to be “seeing eye” hit, eg, the ball landed just inside the fair line, like it had eyes, but who knows?

  4. Didn’t they pretend to bang the roof with a bat after Gardner’s ejection?
