BIG UPDATES for Baltimore Ravens…

so Lamar Jackson is back in the building and the rookies have already reported to 2024 Baltimore Ravens training camp as the Ravens look to prepare for their upcoming season with only 52 days until kickoff against the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL opener and 25 days until preseason action against the Philadelphia Eagles we got Fox Sports coming out with some record predictions that really disrespects the Baltimore Ravens and slightly elevates to Cincinnati Bengals big updates on some injuries including Keat and Mitchell and a bold prediction from an ESPN analyst that says Lamar Jackson we haven’t even seen 75% of what he can do as an NFL quarterback we got all that in more so welcome into another episode of rven reports it’s your gu know we here with for the flock is always bringing you guys our top five news reports and story lines coming out of R Baltimore Ravens today man I hope this video finds you well and you can kind of get your Ravens content itch scratch with this video here and uh make sure you guys are up to date with all of your Ravens news man I hope you guys are doing well and having a great day let’s dive into the content at number one let’s just talk about this Fox Sports prediction real quick that’s just absolutely bogus it has the Ravens not even winning their division after they had the best record in the AFC last year a historically good dvoa um they got the second year of Todd monin in this offense Lamar Jackson fresh off as second NFL MVP but um the Cincinnati Bengals apparently are going to win the division not by a close margin but by a two whole games and the Ravens will come in second with an 11-6 record as the Bengals stroll on to 13-4 they also had the Browns going 9-8 in the Pittsburgh Steelers with a losing record um despite getting some upgrades at quarterback with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields they’re going 8- n according to these projections I never put a lot of stock into like these record predictions but it’s always fun to see other people’s perspective of your team and teams in your conference in your Division I think the Ravens are getting a minimum of 12 wins next year um I know I got the purple Shades um I know I’m a homer just because it’s been a while since we got a chance to pull out the purple Shades I go ahead and pull them out for you guys shout out to all the purple shade patrons um that support the channel man I appreciate every single one of you guys I can’t wait to pull these bad boys out more towards the season especially after the Ravens get a nice win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football to uh open up the season so I got the Ravens having 12 wins this upcoming year what is y’all thoughts in the comment section below what’s your realistic uh expectations for this team they record-wise they do have a tough schedule especially the the first five games uh let me know your thoughts in the comment section below what the Ravens will go with their record in 2024 and at number two this stat came out of John Harbaugh um as he continues to be a really highly tenured head coach um he’s tied for 20th in NFL history for alltime victories like think about some of the coaches that have been around and how long the NFL’s been around and John Harbaugh is 20th in all-time Victor it’s written here that uh it’s written here he could be top 15 by The Season’s end he needs two wins to pass Mike holgren seven to pass Paul Brown and 11 to pass Tom Coughlin Mike Shanahan and Pete Carol at 170 victories of course I think John Harbaugh is a a great head coach but I’m also excited for the coordinators this year especially firsttime defensive coordinator Zach or who the players absolutely love who they trust uh Zack Ora is a fiery young guy only 32 years old but he’s also really smart and has a lot of experience under his belt both as a player and a coach um I’m also excited for the second year under Todd monin and uh what he’s going to do with second-year receiver Z flowers the all proo future Hall of Fame running back Derrik Henry uh a healthy Mark Andrews man this offense is going to be cooking this defense is going to be fiery and I’m excited to see what it looks looks like at number three we got some updates on some injured Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson um our quarterback in the injured veterans reported to camp today at the under arour performance center uh Keaton Mitchell was added to the physically unable to perform the pup list we know that Mitchell suffered That season ending injury against the Jaguars on December 17th that thing hyperextended it was really nasty and it could have been a career ending injury however it was reported that it was just an ACL tear and there wasn’t a lot of damage to other structures on that knee and reminder Keat Mitchell you know he said he put that out on social media on Twitter you ain’t seen this me yet he’s apparently doing well in his rehab maybe even ahead of schedule according to John Harbaugh so that’s great news but if Keat Mitchell remains on the pup list throughout training camp which he probably will he’s eligible to move straight to the active pup list which means sitting out at at least the first four games John Harbaugh said he’ probably come midseason so that’s expected at some point in the season Keat Mitchell’s going to return and it’s probably going to be a big spark to the offense as we get to see Keaton Mitchell and Derk Henry the thunder lightning duo in the same backfield uh getting handed balls from Lamar Jackson it’s going to be absolutely a blast we also got fourth round rookie quarterback TJ Tampa um who is starting off the year on the pup list as well and uh rookie third round pick outside linebacker Adisa Isaac is on the non-f football injury list Adisa Isaac he missed OTAs and mini camp due to that hamstring injury so he’s still nursing that hopefully he comes off of that soon because um you know training camp is going to be big for the rookie but also just a little reminder that players are eligible to come off of the pup list in the NFI list at any time during training camp and immediately start practicing so at any point these guys could be activated hopefully at sooner rather than later for TJ Tampa and Adisa Isaac we know Keat Mitchell he’s got a little bit of a longer wait in recovery time at number four this is absolutely absurd if this is really true if this is um something that comes to fruition because there was a ESPN analyst uh Freddy Coleman says that the best version of The Raven signal caller Lamar Jackson has not been seen yet and uh the co-host Harry dougas he agreed as Lamar Jackson reaches his prime years of athleticism that we still don’t think we’ve seen the best Lamar Jackson yet is what they said he said but that doesn’t mean that he’s not in his prime though we just haven’t seen Jackson at the heights of his prime I’ll be honest with you I don’t even think we’ve seen 75% of Lamar Jackson if you’ve won two MVPs in you’re only 27 years old and youve you know only seen 75% of what you can do man that’s that’s scary there’s definitely things that Lamar Jackson can improve on you know one thing that I’d like to see is just some more um you know taking the easy stuff you know I know Lamar Jackson he’s a big play waiting to happen he can hold the ball a lot and get away with it because of how athletic he is he can scramble around and throw a 50 yard bomb downfield to an uncovered Z flowers or Mark Andrews and it’s absolutely amazing it’s magic um but sometimes um he goes to move around and maybe the quick seven yard 5 yard hitch was there to get you to Second and and three but um maybe he takes a sack maybe you know an incompletion happens or something like that where you could take the easier throw that’s like the biggest thing I’d like to see at of Lamar is taking the easy uh getting the ball out quick taking the easy check down the uh the quick slant some of those just more simple completions that aren’t as sexy uh when it comes to quarterback highlight plays and if he could just get like 10 to 15% more consistent on some of the you know deep balls downfield we’re talking about a a really dangerous recipe if Lamar Jackson improves in those two areas alone he’s already you know if you look at all the quarterback lists he’s top two in almost every one I see he’s usually two and and there’s somewhere he’s not top two but every quarterback list I’ve seen so so far this year he’s been at least top five that’s our quarterback entering you know at only 27 years old entering year seven with a lot of weapons in a seconde coordinator with Todd monin that’s really starting to figure things out with his Personnel this is going to be a really good offense at number five I know this has been talked about a lot but I want to address it um jacobe Jones he passed away at 40 years old um very way too young right and it’s just kind of an eyeopener of uh your your next day of life your next uh breath in your lungs is not guaranteed and uh it’s really sad to see Jobe Jones pass away um however there’s a lot of great memories that his family um and all of his friends and everything can be really proud of not only throughout his career as a football player of course the Mya Miracle but the memories that he’s made as you know a family man as a friend those type of memories as well where jacobe Jones everyone’s just talking about how of a genuine positive person he was I’ve read a lot of uh stuff on social media today about jacobe um different teammates and players coming out and saying different things um specifically about how uh how much of a jokester funny guy he was always making light of things um with laughter and that type of thing and also about how he was just a uh cons consistent and calming presence uh to his friends and family and his teammates in the locker room and when something like this happens man it’s always the families that I think about the the daughters the moms the dads like the brothers the sisters right like um it’s always the family members that I really uh have on my heart as they’re grieving and they’re hurting but I did want to touch on this news and talk about Jacob’s life a little bit and uh let me know if you have like a top play or memory or something like that with jacobe um I know
