  1. So many left hand defensemen. Excited to see what the ducks do to make room for everyone.

  2. minimum AAV bridge deal for a young defensemen that was immediately thrown into the fire last year and survived? great deal!

  3. Actually a small pay cut for him as he should have hit a performance bonus last year for average time on ice, but a nice deal. I feel like he earned a bit more, but hey, I’m glad he signed.

  4. Kinda feel bad for him. He deserves more. Good for the team though of course.

Excited to watch his progress this year.

  5. Basically best case deal for the ducks. Min salary, 2 years, so still an RFA at the end if he has a good development curve.

I feel like he earned more from the Ducks, and certainly more respect from the fans, but I am glad he wasn’t traded away for a minor piece. LaCombe was a malleable and respectable rookie.

  6. Prove it contract, learn to play the Right side because we got lots of boys in the pipeline who play Left. Dont see a lot of offense but has good moments sometimes. Could be a really good bottom pairing for us when Fowler is off the books. I dunno, just ramblin.
