[Meirov] #49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk has requested a trade out of San Francisco, per @MikeGarafolo. The two sides have failed to get a deal done, and Aiyuk is now making a move.

1. am I the only one here who doesn’t want him?? he doesn’t fit our culture at all and we already have a solid wr core which we don’t need to spend an additional 30 mil a year on

9. I think people in this sub are underestimating how good Brandon Aiyuk is. He’s a 26 year old receiver coming off a 1300 yard season entering his prime. We have the money, and even though he doesn’t totally fit the timeline, anything less than a first round pick to get him would be a steal.

10. This is just a new contract move. He will get his money from the niners and he isn’t going anywhere. I believe this is the last year of Deebo’s guaranteed money so the niners can move on or restructure his deal.

11. Ahh the plot thickens.. maybe the first domino effect of SF’s downfall/reign 

12. No. We just signed a rookie WR1. Undercutting that commitment by signing a guy who will demand to be WR1 to a huge contract is peak pudding brain stuff. I love Brandon as I do all (most) Sun Devils, but let someone else pay for him.
