We would have to give up way too much to get him. 49ers don’t want to trade him – you’d have to overpay. It’s not worth it.
I’d give a 1st no questions asked and that’s what it will take for sure
A 2nd and a 5th for the right to pay him 30M…that sounds familiar for some reason.
Amari Cooper (25) went to Dallas for a 1st rounder after notching 3 Pro Bowls. Aiyuk is a year older and doesn’t have any Pro Bowls but I imagine they’d still demand a 1st. I don’t think it will happen and expect them to part ways with Deebo instead. But I guess we’ll see
How are we paying him?
I hope not. Not against trading for big names, but given his price tag & wanting a new contract, I’d rather see what we have in Diontae and XL before another huge investment in the position.
Didn’t he say he wanted to play for a competitor? I can’t imagine him being very happy here.
