I mean yeah you not see the title of the stream that you just clicked it’s going on it’s about to start that’s what the title of the stream is is I’m aware thank you though what a day man what a day big the end of result of the summer league game I don’t know I don’t care but probably bucks lose by 30 something like that I mean it’s John hor draft picks that are coming to to play that should be a prediction in itself and if you can’t make a prediction based off of that I’m assuming you’re not a bucks fan Rando appreciate you joining the show what a great day we are having today we can talk bucks rotation going into summer league you know you know what a guy like me was thinking just want to find one guy that could step into the rotation this sum Le just one but now I don’t care at all yes I mean it would be nice to have a young guy with potential that way we could put him in a trade if needed if somebody gets hurt they could Step Up all that stuff but I’m done getting myself worked up and upset by the fact that these young guys all St they stink just everybody we don’t need to act like they don’t we don’t need to act like well you know we lost by 50 but Maran he had 20 no no it’s fine he stinks the young guys all stink but we’ve got a solid rotation we don’t need young guys right now we’ll be okay we will be okay yeah I want to watch Tyler Smith hopefully do more though but even he’s not like a guy put the ball in his hands and go to work and for the Aj Johnson Defenders I don’t want to get too deep into this stuff because I’ll probably end up repeating it once we get some more people in the chat I’m assuming we’re going to have more than two people at some point but you could get the early Taste of the things that I have in my mind um for the Aj Johnson Defenders or whatever like oh just give him time we don’t need a draft pick that you could give time to what the Bucks need is somebody that has value now either that could step to the rotation because we’re trying WI a championship now or a guy that has value that you could then flip in a trade imagine if we drafted tered Shannon Jr and he was doing for us what he’s doing for the Timberwolves at Summer League even if we got Gary Trad Jr and said hey we’re not going to really play minutes yet you know what we could do put him with Bobby poris and say hey teams what do y’all got for us you know what might happen we would get a pretty nice package in return a pretty nice package you know you might even be able to make a move for the Warriors and say Hey listen up dubs we’ll give you Bobby we’ll give you Teran Shannon Jr you know what you’re going to swing us I was trying to think of something to pair with Kavon Looney that would be I guess it would be like a big in P we won give on Looney back and somebody’s going to give us p as well something like that you know the bu got Carri J until you got the notification for my video yeah I mean it only had been reported on Twitter like five minutes earlier like I have the notifications for when w tweets and I was like sitting here right when he tweeted it and within like 30 seconds hit record boom five minute six minute video quick type the title thumbnail takes another like three minutes so really like in eight or nine minutes after the news had first been reported our video was up and it was the only one that was that subscribe they’re being delayed due the woles oh okay cuz yeah was watching this on ESPN I didn’t realize they were on the same court um I was watching this on ESPN and I thought maybe i’ would be able to watch it um it would be on a different Channel but they’re actually going to play on the same court all right well I’ll have this game on as we’re waiting for the buck game to actually get going um Rob Dillingham and Teran Shan Jr the guy the Bucks probably should have drafted in this game man horse finally got somebody who’s almost as good as Dante was why did you yeah you just commented on the on my video um Gary Trent Jr is a better player than Dante D venzo Dante venzo just had his best year and it still didn’t match up to um Gary Trent Jr’s top two years uh Dante D venzo yeah he’s gonna play his absolute best basketball playing with his college teammates but he’s even still not quite Gary Tren Jr so I don’t know what you’re yapping about um I know we have Tyler Smith Giannis Brook and Bobby you think the both should get an athletic center they that’s why I said in my video and a couple people got in the chat mad at me but if I’m John horse right now ideally you would have drafted Teran Shannon Jr whose value would already sky rocketing based off of how he’s dominating summer league and then you would be able to call up teams and say Hey listen we got Gary Trent Jr we might we’re winwin now mode we could give you tered Shannon Jr which we know you want instead we have no young guys that are worth anything so we don’t we don’t really have young guys to offer up because nobody wants any of our young guys despite what you might try and Tuck yourself into none of our young guys have any value best value we might have Bo champ maybe could get us like a late second round pick in return maybe I don’t even think that anyway um so ideally you’d be able to call up teams and say Bobby and Teran Shane and Junior now what do you have for us but we don’t have that so we I would just be calling teams and saying hey we got Bobby but now the centers that we would want in return for that cavon Looney from the Warriors would make sense but I would want Looney and a little a little some sugar with it you know I wouldn’t do a straight up Bobby for Looney deal I want Looney and a little sugar whether that’s a couple second rounders a first round pick um Moses Moody would be perfect for the Bucs even though we don’t really need any more contributors I I would just Moses Moody’s a underrated player that I think Steve Kerr is underrated um make sure you all hit that like though if you haven’t yet eight people only three likes some people hting their hearts only reveal value they have is throwin but I’m saying even our throws aren’t really worth anything like if we had drafted a guy that people like like Ken Shannon Jr we could throw him into that deal and that would spruce up the pot if you will but like let’s say we make a trade with the Warriors Steve Kerr is already struggling to get minutes for a guy like Moses Moody Moses Moody is better than any of our young guys Point Blank period he was getting dmps last year for the uh Warriors and he has shown way more signs than any of our young guys have and like that’s why I say to to Buck fans like people were a couple people was saying like oh I’m glazing about Gary Tren J I’m too excited about the buck saying that we’re the best team in the NBA so like people were some people calling me glazing for that and then some Bucks fans call me hating for this but the fact of the matter is you’re a really isolated bucks fan and you must not watch like a ton of other teams if you really think like oh Andre Jackson is he’s a real gem like he he brought a little energy one playoff series he averaged two points a game last year he was a four-year college player so he was supposed to be the NBA ready so the fact that he showed some signs it’s not like it’s a 19-year-old that shows some signs it’s a 23-year-old so one my the thing I’m rambling about is him averaging two points a game in like bringing a little energy in a first round series is not worth anything to another team only people that are like really trying to convince themselves of bucks young players really are like that excited about that part of the reason Ajax looks so good to bugs fans is because we yes because we’re so like I don’t even think partly we so desperately lack athletic ability but the other part is our young guys are just generally so bad if somebody if we just get a young guy that does anything positive Bucks fans are like losing their minds about it like some Bucks fans got me at me in the chat where I’m like don’t even plan on playing the young guys this year uh because we have such a strong rotation of older guys we know Doc Rivers isn’t going to let’s not get our hopes up for it let’s not expect it because especially the first half of the Year Griffin tried playing the young guys and we realized oh they’re just not good you can make whatever exes you want they’re not good and uh defense got better once you got rid of him and Doc Rivers cut the minutes of those guys and I like AJ Green I do I like AJ Green but I like it for what he is like again he averaged like what three four points a game last year and they were promising promising three or four points that’s why I say we have like the worst young core in the league because if you were a nuggets fan like they had Christian Brown who was averaging double figures he dropped like 15 in the finals made big defensive plays pton Watson who’s great defensively this past year averag like eight or nine a game and then they have dudes on their g-league that are way better than our guys that are getting minutes like Hunter Tyson is a valuable he was like great in the G league for them and like would probably get minutes on worse teams jayen picket is a very promising young player Julian stur these are guys that other teams actually like all of those guys every guy just Nam that’s like Five Guys in the last two years from the Nuggets they’re all worth more than any of our guys at our summer league I don’t think he will stand out so much on a team with Junior Prince and D yeah that’s why I’m saying like if Andre Jackson like does start to look good I’m not saying just keep him on the bench but like he didn’t show us enough to be like he needs to be in the rotation the way some Bucks fans are acting like he was a four year if he was a 19yearold I would say yes give Andre Jackson minutes because if you’re 19 already showing signs year two you’re going to take a leap most likely but he came into the league as a guy that was supposed to be NBA ready and so yeah he showed some signs but you shouldn’t be expecting a 23-year-old to necessarily make a massive leap like they’re supposed to be able to contribute right away that isn’t anything you should lose your mind about if we didn’t have Brooke or Bobby what would I have the starting lineup as so if we didn’t have a big man I guess you would have to put Giannis at the five I was thinking about this earlier today like uh vers a lineup that you could put out there with Giannis I would kind of like uh Chris Middleton toian Prince this this is kind of not answering your question but I’ll get to it I kind of want to see the Bucks try a lineup of like just straight up versatility keep uh and let me think Middleton like and jannis sharing the point guard ball handling duties Middleton Prince Gary Trent Jr Giannis and then maybe like Andre Jackson or a moody Stanley Moody don’t sleep on him he might be better than any of our young guys bugs picked him up on a two-way deal um I really liked him in college and his numbers for the Pistons and I think a g- League last year were actually good Stanley Amud might be he’s like 24 or 25 that actually might be something I like him a lot um not a lot but I like him more than our Young G our summer league guys but I would like a to try a lineup from Doc Rivers that’s like all switchable guys one through five like Chris Middleton let’s say Amud Andre Jackson Bo champ like any throw any of those guys out there toan Prince Gary Trent Jr and Giannis like all Shooters all versatility like just try that for a few minutes a game that could be interesting but we have a lot of different lineup combinations is my point though everyone on our I really like that at all times everybody other than I guess kind of Giannis can knock down a three offensively that’s great and I thought that’s what made the Celtics um that’s part of what made the Celtics so good that everybody put it out there can knock down a three um so it makes it almost impossible to help but like a jayen brown driving inside like once for the Celtics once one guy got by their man like you knew they were getting a good shot because either that like let’s say jayen Brown gets by his man either he has a dunk at The Rim because he’s by his man or somebody helps okay somebody help helps you kick out to a three the the help shifts it’s one more pass boom knock wide open three for a guy that’s a good three-point shooter and now the Bucks can do that outside of Giannis it’s tan prince who hovers around 40% from three Gary Trent Jr who’s like 38% of his career on high volume Chris Middleton who was near 40% in his career we know what Damen Lillard does all guys that can knock down a three at a high level not just like J Crowder like they could knock down a three like depending on the year he might knock him down like all basically Shooters outside of Giannis I just wish we had Terence Shan Jr yeah yeah and I didn’t even love him going into the draft I wouldn’t even necessarily want Teran shanon Jr for a rotation it’s just the asset and that’s why for the Bucks fans that are trying to talk themselves into Aj Johnson like if it turns out to be a home R land like I’ll give John horse credit but all the signs for what you should be looking for makes it a bad pick on you know because unless it’s an absolute home run because a he was a guy that was seen as a second round pick so now unless he were to go crazy in summer league which he’s not because he’s not that NBA ready uh unless that were to be the case you you now don’t even have the the option to throw him in a trade which it which lowers our flexibility at the trade deadline let’s say like knock on W forbid one of our rotation pieces gets injured now we don’t have a young guy that’s worth anything to anybody because most teams had Aj Johnson on their board as a second round pick and they’re going to look at summer league and see okay this guy didn’t play well in summer league so like that’s not even a good sign that gets us excited whereas if we drafted Teran Shannon Jr even if you John horse you’re thinking we have enough veterans we don’t need them in our rotation teams we’re seeing T Teran chanon Jr dominating summer league in the way he looks right now and they’re thinking like I’m sure teams would give up a little bit to get Teran Shan and Jr now that they’re seeing him out there in summer league and getting a guy like that would just make it easier to make a trade either a to move off of Bobby poris to get upgrade defensively or if Bucks fans are desperate to move off of Pat conon if that’s something that makes your heart happier you could package him and now you can EAS get off of Pat content’s contract because without throwing another asset in there you’re not getting off of Pat content’s contract AJ had 13 points and eight assists go go watch another bucks Channel Dog I’m sorry uh thanks for top tapping in but I’m good if AJ I’m good on the rage bait if Aj Johnson does do well give John Ho’s credit but as it stands he was a bad selection I I just don’t see it man I don’t see anything there but like best case scenario he’s good in a few years and at that point I guess I will give him his credit if it works out the second hit pick had 12 points okay you glad you watched the box score I actually watched both full games I’ve actually watched both of them play full games in G League uh I didn’t watch full game of AJ Johnson because he never played overseas uh warning sign he never played overseas didn’t get minutes but uh he shot 50% from the free throw line in Australia he shot about 20% from three he barely got minutes and coming out of high school he was ranked 47th in his class and in the uh g-league mean in the G league in the summer league he’s having terrible numbers on the worst team in summer league so far um watching him play he has he does not have Vision most of his points have been on transition layups he’s taking terrible shots he’s pulling up for deep threes one of his threes that he hit was a deep pull-up three early in the shot clock that banked in from straight on one of the luckiest shots I’ve ever seen to help stat pad his stats and even still he’s shooting 20% from three so yes if he turns out to be good I’ll give him give him credit I’ll give John horse credit but there’s nothing that you could point to that is positive for AJ Johnson so far other than the fact that he runs fast wasn’t Gary Trant Jr’s father drafted by the Bucks yes I actually think Pat conin is underrated I agree he’s not like great I wouldn’t even say like he’s a like above average player he’s not I would even say he’s good he’s just like he’s playable he was he played a role on our championship team and he actually played pretty well so like the hate that he gets from BS fans is too much that’s the problem though that’s why I get mad about these young players Aman like you’re you’re just living in la la land if you think that’s possible and like another Buck that’s why I said like rage you should go on another bucks Channel because there’s other bucks channels I I channels I I dabble around and like there were other bucks channels that will tell you yes that’s what we should do because it’s easy and all fans will be happy yeah we’re excited we can do that but let’s be real well I’ll be real y’all probably won’t be some of y’all won’t be but I promise you no team in the NBA will give up a good asset for Pat conon and marjon Bo champ I promise you no team wants that package if you call up name the team and name the solid player that you’re thinking of and they and you say Pat conon and Bo champ for your our and then they’re going to say for our good player um a first round pick to throw in there because you’re offering us Pat conen who’s getting paid 9 mil for two more years and every bucks fan wants him gone why do we want him you’re get you’re offering us Maran Bo champ who’s still in the summer league going into his third third year has a first round draft pick and he’s not even playing well in summer league and you want us to give you something good hang up the phone hang up the phone and that right right there is why I am so critical of the young guys it’s not to be critical of them it’s because for John horse it just lowers our flexibility you want to get Pat conton get off Pat conton we can’t because we don’t have young assets even a team that hasn’t drafted well like the Warriors drafted James wisman second overall but B aside from that there’s been Warriors Warriors have drafted well but like they’re not known for drafting crazy well they’ve got P jimsky who’s way better than any of our young guys Moses Moody is the guy that can’t crack the rotation he’s a better asset than any of our young guys they got Kingo those are higher picks so let me be a little bit more fair than that really the Nuggets is the best comparison the Nuggets second round picks late first round picks they have like four of them in the last two years that are better than all of our guys if the Nuggets were to call up a team and say uh who’s their worst player that they might want to get rid of uh let’s just say Pat KP was on their team and they were to call up say the Pistons and say uh we we’ll give you Payton Watson and Pat conon P Watson I’m listening but if we say uh Pat conon and Maron Bo champ hang up the phone I don’t care about no stinking bow champ that’s what a GM is is telling the Bucks I promise you I promise you B jimsky is tough you are a casual Watch What Happens this year I’m not always going to be right with young players but on my main CH I’ve been doing it for a while to know I have a good success rate I will tell you when I’ve been wrong I’ve been wrong about some guys um I’ve been wrong about some decisions in the NBA but for the most part my draft reactions you could go back I called search on YouTube Barrett L show Tyrese halberton called that steal of the draft why is this guy falling in the draft um one of my first controversial videos was saying Obi toppen wasn’t a great pick he’s actually kind of worked out well um I don’t remember a lot of my takes on draft I’m going to go back to Draft Bar L show draft I want to find some of my older takes I’m just saying like I feel like I’ve got a decent sense of some stuff and I know when I know something like I don’t know AJ Johnson’s bad but I know and it’s not a lot of good signs go back and look at jannis no no no see here’s the thing I could go grab my Giannis Jersey I have the Giannis Jersey has red on it you know what that means that was the Bucks uniform when they were in their rookie when he was in his rookie season they left that that Jersey um in his second year you know what that means I had his jersey his rookie season I actually bought it before the season you know why I read stories on that man he wasn’t 6’7 you’re wrong he was 6′ n coming out of of college he grew up to he grew to be six coming out of college coming out of Greece he grew to be 611 he was never 6’7 uh Aj Johnson is 6 foot4 that’s a 5 inch difference there’s no similarity that’s your name is Rage I guess you’re trying to get me to rage I respect it you it’s working because there are people that have actual similar beliefs to this but there’s no similarity between Giannis and AJ Johnson AJ Johnson went to one of the top um Basketball in United States was projected should be 47th went to a top um what’s it called top uh professional team in Australia couldn’t crack the rotation when he got minutes he couldn’t even knock down free throws free throws is one of the biggest predictors it doesn’t matter what team you’re on it doesn’t matter what league you’re in free it doesn’t matter who your teammates are who your coaches free throws or free throws and when you’re a point guard that shoots 50% from the free throw line that is one of the biggest predictors of NBA success and it sounds stupid because it’s like free throws but you could find a lot of guys that this is something that I’ve learned um from predicting rookies coming out of college a guy that I got wrong Justice Winslow I thought he was going to be great coming out of college because he had great passing ability for a Ford he was athletic he made winning plays on a national championship winning team but you know why he didn’t work out injuries but he shot threes well in college but he shot 66% from the free throw throw line and what happened in the NBA he didn’t shoot well free throws are a predictor because three-point shots especially in college where it’s like a 30 Game season low sample size you don’t always know how well they’re actually going to shoot in a bigger sample size 82 games with an NBA three-point line free throws they’re usually pretty predictive of how somebody shoots that’s why you know you might have said like 10 years ago Brook Lopez can’t shoot threes but if you looked and saw he shoots free throw like 80% it’s a pretty good predictor that if he wanted to take thre he’d probably be able to turns out he’s able to so um I’m just I’m just kind of rambling off the fact that Aj Johnson stopped getting excited about him if he does something good I will be right there with y’all in excitement but he has done nothing decent yet he hasn’t shot decent he hasn’t passed def decent he hasn’t defended decent at any level other than maybe high school but even then even then in high school it wasn’t like oh this is going to be a top pick in the draft he was 47th in his class give AJ two years B okay why why why because John horse draft picks work out that’s why oh no that doesn’t make sense because he was good before he came to the NBA no he was terrible overseas oh because he’s looked good in summer league no he’s looked awful in summer league keep it real if he starts to look good I will be excited but he has not looked good anywhere so when things are good people might call me a Glazer because I’m ding near in tears of excitement of how stinky good a pick up Gary Trent Jr is I’m I’ll give youall one step for Gary Trent Jr to get yall more excited about that too I’m a Duke fan so I also I’ve been following his career a lot so anyone that doesn’t really watch a lot outside of the bugs haven’t watched them a lot you could drop any questions you have because Gary Trent Jr he’s not just numbers he’s like that uh he’s one of four players to record at least 500 made 3s and 300 steals in the last three seasons the other three players who do that are Anthony Edwards halberton and then Fred vany not a big fan but still I do disagree with me saying he’s awful in summer league with only two games what do you mean only two games yeah you could say somebody he’s awful in two games what do you mean you can’t so if somebody has an awful game you can’t say it’s an awful game until it’s happened five times I’m talking about the two games he was and I didn’t say awful in summer league I don’t think I said awful I said he hasn’t been good in summer league I I even think I went as far to say awful I’m comparing a 23 I didn’t teren Shan Jr yes you should compare them because that was a guy that the buck should have TR could have drafted and yes the book should have looked for a guy that was more NBA ready or if not if you’re going to take a project at least take a project that um other teams are going to Value so that you could then throw them in a trade but nobody wants AJ Johnson so we have nothing that we could even throw in a trade to sweeten the deal what’s going on Boogeyman best bucks Prospect in your opinion is CRI said no no no no no no no this this is what I’m saying I know and I know something I might be wrong on some things Aj Johnson there’s a chance he could develop I don’t think it’s a high chance but at least he has NBA speed Chris Livingston I think this is a casual take this is and I’ve had to learn this watching Summer League over the years I remember watching Jackson Hayes dominate summer league and then you know what happen he got to the NBA and it’s like oh there’s a lot of guys that jump high you actually have to be able to do more than that in the NBA and like Chris livon he looks good out here but he’s like 6’6 and moves like a big man he doesn’t really handle well he doesn’t make decisions well Tyler Smith had multiple cuts when he had the ball top of the key that he missed him um he he if he could keep shooting the three maybe but I don’t really believe in it he knocked down two wide open ones I need to see it more he shot like 40% from free throw in the g- league Chris Livingston is like he’s going to fool you because he’s stronger and more athletic than gie and then summer league guys but get him with NBA bodies I no no no I don’t think so I don’t think so so that’s why I’m saying don’t just look at numbers like Tyler Smith his numbers might not look that great but his role would be as a fifth option guy that’s just out there to make some defensive plays knock down an open three and hustle and just make smart decisions and if like if people I’ve seen in the comments before like this guy’s clearly never played basketball before like I’m not like the best basketball player ever clearly I’m not in the NBA but I played in college and anybody that’s played enough like can see when somebody like is sing the game and is making the right reads and for the most part what I’ve seen Tyler Smith actually has good instincts in terms of cutting in terms of when to help defensively something that Bo champ doesn’t have and those are things that have been undervalued both by Bucks fans and the Bucs front office um so that’s why I’m not just looking at numbers especially in summer league do I like anyone with upset I don’t like any of these bucks here players in like in a nutshell uh no I don’t but but um in comparison to every like who do I like the most Tyler Smith especially when I see that he was taken in the second round I made a video talking about who the Bucs should draft I wanted the Bucks to stay away from him with the first round draft pick because there were other better prospects but getting him in the second round I actually do like that I like him for a second round pick there’s a chance that he could be something thing that being said the nuggets have two late first rounders in the last two years and like four second round picks other than maybe Hunter Tyson I would take all of them over anyone on our summer league I’ll take jayen picket if any of these guys were on the buck summer league y’all would be going crazy telling doc to play them Jaylen picket Julian Str Payton Watson Christian Brown that’s four guys that if they were on this Buck summer league team oh y’all would be glazing you like Ajax when he plays as normal a I kind of like him too I kind of do as well but we also we need to be um clear with expectations though we need to like all rookies aren’t created equal is what I’m trying to say when you draft a four a guy that play was in college for four years on a national championship team the expectations are that they’re closer to their Prime than most rookies so like the fact that he look decent when he was out there in um in the NBA last year that was kind of to be expected and to me he was actually a little underwhelming defensively uh like just in terms of uh Mis assignments um miscommunications off screens overplaying uh guys getting blown by he got blown by way too much for a guy that young and athletic he did do fairly well and limited minutes against the Pacers so like there’s good signs there but he is also I think 2 now 22 23 so like there should be good signs there should probably be more than he actually showed especially seeing Griffin gave him good opportunity and this I had I was talking to to another bugs Channel and they were and he was like that’s how you get young players better you got to give them chance to develop them and maybe I would say that with like a 19 20 yearold that showed like flashes but Andre Jackson was supposed to be ready to play day one and he wasn’t he wasn’t good when Adrien Griffin was coaching now when he got minutes come playoff time he was better defensively he was much better especially in comparison to guys like Bobby poris that were out there for the bucks on defense but um but I just I generally Bucks fans have too low expectations for the young guys but the great news is right now the Bucks don’t need any of these guys I said this at the very beginning of the stream uh at the beginning the first Summer League game My Hope was just one of these guys one just one guy at this summer league uh show me something to get me excited that we could put you in the rotation now I’m like hey if one of y’all takes a leap next year nice but we don’t need it we don’t need any of these guys to be able to contribute it would be nice if you could get your value up so we could trade you or if we see oh you know bo bo champ is ready to get minutes now we could go trade this guy um and go get a different need or something like that um but we don’t need that make sure you hit that like if you haven’t yet we great appreciate Adrian Griffin coach te y’all will find a problem with any coach I don’t get out of here you probably wanted Boot and holes are gone that’s the thing people will call me a a hater for like criticizing John horr’s draft picks and then they’ll say fire Boer oh Adrien Griffin was the problem Oh Doc Rivers also Stakes every coach Stakes our players are amazing our young guys are great it’s just all these coaches that have won coaches of the year that have done this and that like give him a chance but I don’t know we already have plenty of shooting he’s got to be good defensively which I did see good signs defensively from last year I actually thought he was pretty decent he was our best young Defender which you wouldn’t expect to be the case but he actually was our best young defender in my opinion in the regular season um and so I like him but at best is our eighth man I don’t like him better than obviously Dame Chris Giannis Brooke Gary Trent Jr or toan Prince or Bobby so like as our eighth man maybe I think he should be fighting with d Wright for eighth eighth man minutes I think a Andre Jackson Bo champ Delon Wright um and AJ Green should all like fight for eighth man minutes and Pat conton it was time for Bud never made adjustments the adjustments y’all want weren’t wouldn’t even be good adjustments like y’all wanted him to double Jimmy Butler instead of having Drew holiday guard him Drew hard is the best Premier defender in the NBA like most times when teams come back in a like let’s say something isn’t working most the times when a team let’s say come back comes back from a 3-1 lead it’s not even like a major coaching adjustment it’s just like guys start playing better they start making shots and if you’re boen Hooser and Jimmy Butler is frying Drew holiday what should you say to me I I can understand him saying as a head coach Drew holiday um made big defensive plays on a championship run Jimmy Butler isn’t one of the top 10 scores in the NBA so it’s not like I’m asking him to guard LeBron James out here we’ve asked him to guard Kevin Durant before so the size difference is not that significant it’s like 64 versus 67 that’s not that big of a deal um uh I I understand him continuing to go to that because adjustments should be made when you’re giving up something that’s a problem Drew holiday versus Jimmy Butler is not supposed to be an issue when an adjustment is supposed to be made is when you’re doing a strategy a tactic defensively that is um giving the other team looks that they’re not supposed to get so for example an adjustment I actually wanted in the past that ended up not being a big deal was when we played the Nets in the second round when Brook Lopez was guarding the pick and roll and he was sticking to the drop coverage that was a pro something I had a problem with because Kevin Durant was coming off the screens getting to the Elbow Brook Lopez was sitting under the rim and he was getting open mid-range jumpers Time After Time Again PJ Tucker was not very good at fighting through the screens and Brook Lopez would not get up to contest so I was saying put Giannis at the five so that way he could defend the pick and rolles and he could be more Nimble and not just guard the rim so that’s an adjustment that actually makes sense but most Bucks fans adjustments are like uh play him more or like don’t let Drew holiday guard Jimmy Butler and it’s like that’s on that’s a player issue that’s not a coach issue Jimmy Butler frying Drew holiday you’re supposed to put Drew holiday on Jimmy Butler that’s the right coaching decision I’m sorry just because it didn’t work that doesn’t mean it’s the coach’s fault that’s that’s Jimmy B having a great series and Drew holiday being a let down as Aj Johnson gets to the rim misses a layup or as Bucks fans would probably say in the chat he just showed us a lot of potential right there bronny plays like Drew yeah he’s trolling where would I rank our depth across the lead um I mean I love our rotation but depth I wouldn’t say very high it’s better than like the Celtics but um depth it’s not like as good as the Knicks this is what I’m saying about our bucks fully healthy we’re the best team in the NBA I believe as Aj Johnson crossover crossover crossover goes to the rim lays it in see there is actually a good play there actually is potential he does that’s what I’m saying he does get to he has that NBA skill he has the speed to get to the rim that’s why I’m saying there’s a chance with him he hasn’t shown us anything good outside of that he hasn’t actually performed well anywhere but he does have that NBA ability so there’s a chance apart from the underwhelming draft picks I think John horse did a decent job at fixing the I mean this was a great offseason as a bucks fan amazing B offseason I’m really not giving a lot of credit to John horest because I doubt John hor was the reason Gary Trent Jr decided to come here and every GM in the entire NBA would have assigned Gary Trent Jr on a minimum deal as a turnover here from the Bucks Jordan Miller to the rim for the Clippers he’s been balling out in summer league and he lays it in and there’s another example right here right so Jordan Miller a guy that didn’t get any mids for the Clippers last year was a first- round draft pick played great uh played well in the G League he just dropped 36 in summer league like that’s not even like a top 10 guy that the Clippers are are expecting as part of the rotation and he’s already showing like way more than any of our young guys are but Aj Johnson did just get a three to go listen if he turns out to be good I will be the F not the first but I will loudly give John horse credit for going against the grain even when he made made a bunch of bad decisions to go and do something that nobody thought was a good pick in Aj Johnson and he’s off to a good start today if you continues to play like this I will drop a video saying I might be wrong on AJ Johnson you might you don’t keep Drew hard and Jimmy Butler and Jimmy Butler’s watched him and I was like whoa he looks like a different he looks like a different level athlete than everybody’s on the floor with he stands out when you watch him but I should have realized hold on he stands out when you watch him he’s so much bigger in athletic than everybody and yet he still didn’t produce that much so so I think I was probably wrong on him already and another thing I I think I was bad on this draft I didn’t really love Reed Shepard as a third pick I think that was a clown take for me I thought as Corner 3 is good off the timeout for the Clippers of course I thought um you just because I love him so much and I think he’s been just absolutely phenomenal every time in the playoffs and doesn’t get a quarter of the credit he deserves even despite how much I personally love him and think my own opinions on him uh even if you’re low on Chris Middleton you’re not going to get better value in return because he’s older he’s had injury issues um the Bucks are in such win now mode that any team that’s trading for him would be also be a win now team that wouldn’t give you anything better in return I don’t know if I’m saying it right but like you’re just not going to get anything better than Chris Milton with the flaw with the flaws that other teams would see which is his older age and his injury history you’re just not going to be able to get like an amazing pack return even if you were a Chris Milton hater so that’s why even even for the Chris Milton haters like he just has to be Untouchable thinking realistically um same with Damen Lillard even if you think like oh the buck should be open to trading him he’s older and but like what do you think the Bucks are going to get for him You’ get You’ get something back but not something that improves the Bucks I’ve been saying about Aj Johnson we don’t have to act like he’s playing well when he’s not because if he does does turn out to be good we will start to see him play well and he’s playing well today he’s got 12 points he’s five of 10 not perfect some a couple bad decisions couple bad passes but he’s actually doing positive things out there and when he is I’m getting excited like I’m hyped about this I’m loving seeing it and I don’t really remember my reaction to that draft pick that well y’all could go back and look and comment on it let me know but I don’t think I was everone that killed John horse for that pick because I was saying like it didn’t make sense to me but there was nobody I really like was desperate to get after Mei got drafted in Don Holmes put him with the big boys and he’ll be good in two years I’m much less sure of it than you are but today’s a good day if you are an Aj Johnson believer today is a good day all start by Year s is who’s a big body SF footer with amazing Rim protection that reliably hits threes that’s a tough one um moom Moomba on paper is all that but not matching s he just got picked up for a minimum deal by the Clippers Mo Boma is a guy wanted the bus to take a flyer on for a minute now I feel like with buen hoser moamba could have been something I don’t think he works I don’t think he’s that good but like with bher schemes I think bomba could have been something for the bucks there’s not that many of these guys meles Turner but the Pacers would never give him up well they would have but it’s too late now AJ ha is weird to me sense to most people he reason why he averaged three points shot 50% from the free throw line 20% from three you could believe in them and I said that when I reacted to the draft like there have been guys that didn’t put up big numbers overseas that play well in the NBA you can believe in him but like same way me as somebody that’s skeptical I’ll still say I don’t know but I do know he can get to the rim and he has that NBA ability he has NBA level speed and athleticism so he has a chance if you’re a Believer don’t act like there’s not reasons to be skeptical AJ shown some great flashes but would have been ideal for Horrors to draft a big man yeah but that’s why I wasn’t that mad at it because there were no great big men left at that point point I wanted him to draft Mei got drafted right before or Don Holmes got drafted right before or CLE we he took him at like 15 so since those guys weren’t available Johnson wasn’t who I would have drafted but I’m not like I wasn’t Furious to it I said there have been guys that have played in Pro leagues um they’re tough to get minutes in um that come in the NBA and they play better porzingis averaged like six points a game I think or seven and um a similar league so I didn’t kill him for that but it’s just the fact that even in his minutes limited minutes he didn’t hit free throws he didn’t hit Threes And the fact that there have been plenty of guys that were able to get minutes in that League that guy drafted that’s what should make you hesitant but it’s possible he could still be great as he gets to the rim again can’t make the layup but that doesn’t honestly matter to me he’s getting to the rim at will and bassen Bassin cleans cleans it up with a tip back Aj Johnson yeah the fact is he has he has 12 points on I think five of 12 now but like he’s missed three layups which doesn’t matter that much to me as he Ys around a Defender at transition and lays it in and one wow see I’m always keep it real with y’all great game one I said like his numbers aren’t very good and honestly he played worse than his numbers because most of his points were just transition layups any way and he made bad reads that don’t battle training camp preseason early in the season who wants to be our eth to nth man does Pat conon start shooting the ball better and show that he’s a more winning player than the younger options does Delon Wright does his a veteran decision making outshine our young players or does AJ Green’s shooting and ability to defend out um shy should be the eighth man personally if I had to yeah I would say AJ for me I would start the season on paper with AJ Green as my eighth man and then ninth start of the season I i’ probably say Bo champ gets some ninth man minutes some like spot minutes see what he could do with them as like a last chance type of deal but most likely come playoff time we’re going seven deep and then eighth man honestly playoff time maybe Pat Conan I hate I know B fans hate him but maybe pat conon pat fell off bad man yeah yeah but I still know that he can make winning decisions as the fifth best player on the court it looked worse than it was towards the end of the season when Giannis went down and the fact that Chris was out for a lot of this season and the fact that in the playoffs he was playing on the floor at times without Chris Dame or Giannis and Bobby that one game so uh he looked worse than he actually is I think as a fifth option he could be it’s like almost as controversial as it is to criticize Bobby poris to say anything good about Pat Conan with Bucks fans but like he was in our rotation he was getting 20 plus minutes a game pretty much every game when we won a championship not that long ago he’s a solid Defender he makes the right decision with the ball usually he’s a really good at backing down loose balls he gets offensive rebounds very well for a guy size if Giannis Chris and Dame are on the floor with him don’t lose your minds but he might be eighth man level I’m not saying great I’m not even saying like he’s a very good player but he might be an eighth man as half court shot to end the quarter is good for the Clippers to put them up 12 going into the fourth half quarter yeah Tyler Smith will be traded after his rookie contract expires for poo very realistic oh we need a three-point shooting no we oh are you saying on offense which you can do both yeah all you need is a guy that can not be an idiot what I mean by not be an idiot is if we’re switching he’s going to switch every time he’s going to talk on defense he’s not just going to let his man blow by him he’s not just going to fall asleep and leave his man wide open when there was no reason to help that’s stuff that you got from Buck fans don’t Year ninth man give Bo champ those minutes see what it looks like but come end of the season and might end up being Pat Conan because Conan for all of his like lack of ability to like make plays with the ball in his hands he could stand in the corner if you’re just asking him to shoot wideopen threes and you have four scores out there he can be a non-liability hitting a wide open shot he could get you loose balls and he can do the right he can be at the right place defensively Beasley was so bad no he wasn’t I I don’t agree with that beas was good for the bucks oh defensively yeah he was pretty rough all if we talking defensively yeah he was rough yes he was rough and he was doing what the young guys were doing our biggest problem defensively this is why I I think it’s kind of a casual take for people to say play our young guys will be better defensively our biggest problem wasn’t that we weren’t long and athletic defensively that was an issue for sure against the clip the Pacers where Brook Lopez guys were running around him Bobby poris too but our biggest problem was our communication not knowing what the heck we were doing and then also guys trying to overplay to like pep Malik Beasley I think it he set too high of an expectation for himself defensively and made him a worse Defender he went into the season saying like he needs to focus on his def defense and become a lock down Defender and I think him going into the season with that mentality caused him to overplay so much and guys to get easy looks that’s our problem was defensively we didn’t communicate off screens guys by throughout the entire season didn’t know how to handle the new form of screen which is the touch screens where it’s not a full screen so you don’t really know whether to switch or not most teams figured that out the Bucs never did and then not even on screens just off of inexcusably like overplaying getting back doored that would happen a lot with Beasley Andre and uh Maron I’m not even going to stunt I think if honestly Dame were healthy we might have even swept the swept no we were not good enough last year to sweep anybody not anybody but that Pacers team was good we were not sweeping them I don’t think I think we would have won in six let’s like we had problems going into the playoffs when fully healthy we were not sweeping that Pacers team that was a good Pacers team that’s why like we have to be disappointed that we can’t stay healthy but without Giannis and Dame the fact that we without Giannis and Dame and the fact that Bobby poris got himself ejected in the first quarter of one of those games the fact that we took that Pacers team to six that’s kind of impressive honestly as Aj Johnson drives to the inside and hits a cutting Chris Livingston nice dime right there from AJ Johnson for the L we beat them game one without jannis yeah and we beat them game five without Yannis and Dame yeah we Lo yeah we had lost to bad teams and it was the regular season I think I think we could have won a championship potentially I don’t think we would have we could have I don’t know there’s we could have won a championship if we were full healthy I don’t know if we ever got clicking enough to win a championship regardless I don’t know if our defense was good enough I definitely don’t think we would have swept the Pacers they were too good offensively our defense was way too flawed for us to play Four good enough games to go four for four four out of four I don’t think that was happening that Pacers team barely got past the Knicks with half the rostered out injured that’s one way of looking at it it wasn’t wasn’t it a six games Ser or was it seven was it six or seven I might have been they blew him out the last game Jaylen Brunson was healthy most of the way way and a lot of people most people picked the Knicks to win that series even still sure they barely got by them but they still got to the Conference Finals and it was the best offense in the league All Season the Pacers were so that was a good playoff team wasn’t a championship level playoff team but it was a good Young playoff team that I don’t think we would have swept over 25 teams historically to pair up Superstars only three of won their first year but a decent amount of won their second that’s why I’m saying I don’t we probably wouldn’t have won a championship even if we were fully healthy last year we could have we could have but defensively we were probably like our communication was just so bad defensively I don’t know if it ever could have been good high school based off of his great athleticism and I think he performed well in g-league because not in g- league in um summer league because he’s bigger and stronger than most 19y olds but then when you get to the NBA and they’re like every most people are very athletic and pretty strong and you need a little bit more to your game Cliff Alexander didn’t work in the NBA and I kind of see that with um Chris Livingston I could be wrong I could be wrong but I don’t see Bruce Bruce Brown um was a strong guy that had great ball handling abilities Chris Livingston can’t really handle the ball BR Brown is a strong guard that could always knock down an open three it got a lot better as his career went on but he was always very tough on both ends of the floor which Chris Livingston is but he doesn’t have an offensive skill like Bruce Brown always had with ball handling and passing I haven’t seen any playmaking from Chris lingon he shot 40% from the free from free throw in um G league so I just I got to be real like not every second round pick is going to be an NBA player that’s just the reality of it it’s not even hate that’s why AJ needs big boy man Aj Johnson or AJ Green you talking about Aj Johnson n he’s 19 let him play 30 minutes a game in the g- league all year let him develop in that way the G league is getting better and better to where it’s like actually you could get good development there g- league is where he should be all year is nothing like Bruce Brown yeah just in the fact that he’s strong and like not that tall Tyler Smith steps into a three bricks it Tyler Smith clearly not capable of hitting like difficult threes like he has he has bad misses but I’m not going to judge him too hard because like I said in an NBA situation with our team if he gets minutes he just needs to be able to hit a spot up wide open one which he’s not going to get in summer league with this team the Angel Ball was in the g- league for two years now he’s doing podcast so you think if the Hornet started him he would be like an NBA star now you think that’s why he wasn’t good or just because the Angel Ball was never really an NBA level player which one do you think people put a lot of people put the the chicken before the egg when that’s not the way a lot of people will say young players don’t work because our development’s bad or they don’t get the opportunity well are young players not getting the opport are young players not good because they’re not getting the opportunity or are they not getting the opportunity because they’re not good I think it’s more of the ladder I think if you’re going to be good my I think development programs and coaching plays a big role but for the most part if you’re like that you’re going to find a way if they put you in out there and give effort he deserves all the slander all the conversation if his father was at a coffee shop he wouldn’t have even made us yeah I don’t know but I don’t know I don’t watch High School basketball so I can’t tell you what he was doing in high school I could tell you wouldn’t have gotten drafted which I didn’t even care to talk about because it’s like it’s not his fault you know like if you get hired because of a connection what are you going to say no like that I didn’t want to hate on him because of the position he was put in that’s why when he starts not giving effort okay now I can hate now I can hate because that’s a choice not to give when there there’s somebody spot somebody would be in the summer league right now if you weren’t there somebody would be getting more minutes and even a bigger deal than that is all of those other Lakers summer league guys now are so much less likely to get two-way deals off of this because they’re all playing four on five a guy like Colin Castleton who looked really good last summer league doesn’t now because he’s catching the ball in the paint getting doubled and bronny doesn’t know where to go he doesn’t know to cut he doesn’t even get to the open spot on the three-point line for him to get kickouts so it’s really detrimental um him being out there and the fact that he doesn’t even give effort is for people that care about basketball it can be hard to watch as Aj Johnson throws the ball to the corner to Bo champ driving Baseline muscles Defender out the way lays it in there we go Bo champ still a seven-point thought maybe he would be like a g-league level player that like yeah probably didn’t deserve to get drafted but oh well the most 55th players aren’t going to be anything anyway but the fact that he doesn’t even give g-league level effort and he doesn’t do a single thing at an NBA level is and then like JJ reck wants to Gaslight us talking about I see him being a l Dort level player I’m telling not like a professional basketball player maybe like semipro like in my city I grew up in there’s Rochester razor sharks like playing like small like courts and stuff like he could do that but like he’s not good enough to play in the Euro league or like the league Aj Johnson was playing in JJ who’s JJ oh he talking about JJ re what he said maybe the buck should look for the next po draw just go higher spola what are they doing why haven’t they thought of that just go hire the spola you’re so right I mean I think they probably hoped AJ Adrien Griffin would be something like that but like I don’t it’s not you can’t just go higher the next bolra if you could every team would do it every year yeah no today I’m trying to think of the last time I’ve been this excited about a move as a bucks fan as the Bucks getting Gary Tren Jr on a minimum deal Daman Lillard trade yeah the Daman Lillard trade they don’t really have a big Brett the Bucks basically play without a big they had baji before I think he’s hurt or for whatever reason he’s not playing under size how do I feel about Joe pry I don’t know he’s been an interim coach team didn’t look that good but he was an interm but it wasn’t that bad it’s probably like fine as an assistant I you can’t evaluate an assistant coach like you don’t know what the heck they’re you have to be coached by them to really know that’s true with every coach for the most part you really don’t know how good of a coach somebody is unless you’re getting coached by them but you could just kind of like assume after seeing them more and more as a head coach random but just talking about coaching somebody that always got way too much hat as a coach that I think is one of the best coaches in the league and still doesn’t get enough credit the guy that just won the championship the Celtics coach I think is great uh that’s another one of those situations where people just look to blame the coach like when they lost to the heat people were like calling him a clown I think because he just like looks a little funny and I think that played a role with bden hoser getting criticized as well because he would look like crazy sometimes at Big moments his face would just look funny um but just random I think the Celtics coach from day one has done a great job who doesn’t give him credit a lot of people especially when they lost to the heat Joe maula like Celtics fans across the league like people were like oh this is if they had what’s his name that they got rid of the dude that’s coaching the Rockets adoka I think he’s a better Coach than adoka you never know for sure until you’re getting coached by them but I think I think he’s a good coach I like the stuff he says I like the I think the way his team plays the sets they run I think he’s an elite coach I think he could be like the next postra I literally was wishing that adoka would come to Milwaukee until Houston snatched him up because Missoula is just running his system and he’s not like I’m I’m not going to throw any insults your way but he’s not the offense changed tremendously he’s not okay the Rockets offensively don’t play that play style because it’s not a system that he was running and it’s not even necessarily system based it’s a lot of sets that they run that they didn’t run under adoka um they didn’t run as much five out offense they played way more through the post under adoka they put Tatum in the post a lot more under adoka and played off of kickouts more it’s way more off drive and kicks like so many NBA fans are such casuals I’m not even saying this to you because you know this might have just been a bad comment or whatever but like there are some comments that I’ll read and it’s like I know you don’t actually know or watch basketball like that you might there might be some truth to what you’re saying I guess but like one example where I know you don’t follow basketball like that is if you say like Steve Kerr took over Mark Jackson system it’s like no as somebody I was watching The Warriors they completely changed and they would not have become the dynasty they were without Steve Kerr and it’s similar although not as extreme with uh adoka to Missoula yeah and he he a little goofy goofy about it too sometimes Dominic he’s like he said uh how does it feel being the first uh finals where there’s two blackhead coaches and he’s like wonder how many of them were Christians just the way he said it was mad was mad funny yeah I’m not like hardcore into that but I respect I respect that he’s uh he’s he’s about what he’s about he’s about his religion he watches that same movie like 30 times a week he has very funny kind of good quotes too about basketball seems to relate to his players that would be absurd to say k is much more like you could see his PG history in his coaching career not even that it’s when Mark was playing they were running heavy pick and roll with Steph that’s why Steph was averaging like eight assists a game they weren’t running off ball movement at all um Steve Kerr made huge changes moving Iguodala to the bench the entire system completely changed from Steph pick and roll they were even having Klay run in picking rolls under Mark Jackson and they went to much more bul movement Spurs style offense you really could see his Spurs influence um having played under papovich um when he coached the Warriors and there’s so many people in the National media that run with the narrative like he took over markk Jackson’s team and like he ran Mark Jackson system Mark like no Steph Curry would not be Steph Curry we see today if he was if Steve Curry was not his coach and I love Steph Curry Steph Curry’s my favorite non buuck player but like Steve Curr definitely changed things over there and same thing with Missoula he did not take over DOA system he made big changes and I think good changes not as big of changes but still big changes yeah and it’s not as big of a difference Derek missou adoka might have been a better defensive coach than Missoula that’s why I’m saying they’re different though because adoka was more defensive focused offensively it was a lot of post up Jason Tatum one-on-one or if he gets doubled you kick off and you play off that the Celtics barely posted up last year they posted Jaylen Brown more but really what it was was we’re moving we’re swinging the ball around we’re having some off ball screens but mainly we’re relying on our athletic guys to get get Blow by and then we’re just playing off of kickouts all right um so that is going
