Shout out to whoever posted it on instagram but these are the odds of who’s gonna land aiyuk. I know we have no money realistically, well at least enough to pay him and I also know we really have no chance to get him but what is everyone thinking?
Do we want him and if so how realistic is it that we actually get him?

As much as I want to believe that Joshua Palmer is ready to breakout and Quentin Johnston will figure it all out and Ladd McConkey will be an elite rookie WR, on paper this WR room is not very good.
I would be so stoked to land Aiyuk.
As appealing as Aiyuk is I’ve been thinking a lot about the cap implications if we got him. We’d likely sign him to an extension and I’m not sure if new regime would want to make their first big signing until next season
For starters, we’re going to have a ton of space next year once we get JC, Mike, Keenan, Kendricks, Linsley, and SJD off our books. And despite us not having a headline receiver, we have a ton of depth and I feel like they’ll want to see how guys like QJ, Ladd, Rice, and even Chark play out. I doubt that mix is the long term answer but who knows, maybe it works and we can spend money elsewhere
Regardless, excited for the future
It would elevate the WR room from lower tier to high tier. The rookies we have may turn out to be great, but that’s all smoke at this point. I would feel much better about our offense with Aiyuk
