In other words, expect minimal changes at the trade deadline and the off-season. The core team that struggled in 2023 and regressed even worse in 2024 will magically get better in 2025… Right?? /s

As bad as they’ve been it’s really the only way to go, blowing it up and starting over would be too dumb
So nothing’s really going to change. The Jays don’t have the value of guys to have a massive return from a fire sale and don’t have the money to sign a superstar free agent (and also re-sign Vlady and Bo).
The right way to go about things imo. If you want any chance of keeping Vlad around you can’t throw in the towel during his walk year
