we got oh we got Aly and we got Gunner we have two bad boys for the Orioles right here and so uh yeah thanks for joining us by the way of course anytime I G step how’s everything how’s the festivities going so far it’s going pretty well yeah trying to soak it all in it’s uh a lot kind of going on but it’s a it’s fun time right now yeah no kidding uh adley second time doing this second time starter um a little bit more relaxed this time around than last time yeah definitely uh it feels like the whole process feels like a little easier and you know I can kind of like lead Gunner around and uh you know it’s been fun he’s showing you the ropes yeah been kind of he’s been telling me uh what to do kind of how to get stuff signed and stuff and really just uh don’t don’t be afraid to put stuff out there to get signed to kind of commemorate the experience I agree with that because that was one big thing when I made allar team they’re like get everything signed because and then now I look back I’m you know I was moving going through my my attic and I’m like wow all this stuff from guys like that’s memories for a lifetime you’ll have it’s pretty cool well I have all my memories from double A All-Star Game this is Player of the Year in 97 was a big deal they almost got me out there year let’s get right to the Home Run Derby last night harder than people think unbelievable job that you guys do out there because people don’t realize how hard is to hit homers we’re used to kind of the cage and we’re used to hitting million with the and then you do an unbelievable job here and the best part about this stuff is that you got your teammates that are around to help you and Tow you off and give you sips of water talk to us how tiring it is people don’t realize how tiring it is to swing and swing and swing yeah I mean my legs after that time out it felt like I’ve been running for about two hours straight so uh yeah it’s uh definitely a fun experience but uh you don’t realize how tired you get until you actually do it and you helping them out absolutely that’s a big deal yeah yeah I mean it’s like I think you do the practice rounds in the derby and then you get out there and the adrenaline that hits you like those first couple swings you’re exhausted how do you know when to take the time out like was there like a you have a or like as soon as I feel as soon as I feel like I can’t breathe yeah that and uh whenever you kind of get off Rhythm it feel like is when uh when it’s a good time to call it so uh felt like didn’t really get into a good one but uh yeah felt like it was a good time to call it last night why did you go with the Scooby-Doo bat um so as a as a little kid it was my favorite show and then um I’ve been able to do I’m sure everybody’s seen it by now but uh been able to do the good Scooby-Doo impression so um yeah we uh we had that going for us last night so so like if I hold on if I was like zo like hey scuba what kind of bat are you using yeah that’s that’s a good one right there yeah but uh is yours better he does Scooby I mean I I do the Scooby I can’t do Shaggy very well but yeah the is your impression better than that uh probably hey let’s ask one oal question though but your boys man it’s fun to watch obviously I was there we were the door mats of Baltimore 6078 then we finally got some good players there like y’all but talk to us about because the day you stepped on the field the big leagues bro you had that leadership quality I played with Jason veritech who you remind me a lot of switch hitting catcher and just a dude how’s your team oh I mean well were you waiting for a better a question for me no no no no no I sorry I don’t know why I like like froze up no no no it’s not a specialty don’t worry no I I was waiting for the question but no we got we got some really good dudes on our team like I mean you see Gunner here dude’s just polished like great B basball player great human uh the guys on a team like they just care about each other and like they pick each other up and when you’re playing a season as long as we do like you got to have that like day in and day out like guys just like picking each other up uh and we got that and you got a great leader in Brandon Hyde y like this guys just like you guys all coming up together through the minor leagues Haider stuck out the tough times while you guys were developing talk about his leadership because we saw him the other night sticking up in the biggest way possible and I love the guy as a human being as much as I do a manager and you guys have an awesome manager in Brandon Hy yeah he’s been awesome ever since I first came up he’s been really helpful and uh especially in the first part of last year when I was going through that struggle he was really helpful on my end of things just kind of helping me get through it and uh yeah I can’t say enough good things about him he’s been uh really helpful to my development so far I think you got a great trainer too and Brian Eble he was my trainer and I used to kind of butt naked and get there and sit down get my ankles tape I know it sounds weird just after a shower you get your angles tapes here it’s not a big deal I do want to ask you you’re hitting second I Paul sches and uh you have to have an approach going to Paul sches are you ambushing the 101 early thinking left Center or what do we got now what’s your game plan uh I like to say it’s easier said I mean uh yeah everything yeah everything’s fun everything’s really firm so it’s uh GNA be a tough match up but uh one that I’m looking forward to so and ATL you to get to catch for your teammate Corbin Burns what is the game with him obviously you’re going to go uh Marte Otani Trey in the first so you’re just going to it’s going to be a one two three right that’s what we’re going for that would be like ideal situation uh if that doesn’t happen then we’ll get the next guy out um he’s I mean obviously a phenomenal pitcher and uh It’ll like it feels very comfortable catch him so I’m looking forward to just C hey was that a little extra special like you know like you get to start the All-Star Game and you’re wondering we didn’t find out till a couple days ago that you starting like you fingers crossed obviously and hoping and then what did that feel like when your own starter is going to be the one throwing to you oh it’s like the best feeling cuz I know we’re going to go out and like do like our normal routine like it’s just another like another game uh so I’m really excited for that and um yeah how nasty is this cutter oh it’s I mean it’s I would say the word would be grotesque grotesque would be the word I would use I like that description there we go it’s a it’s very it’s hard to catch hard to hit you know so uh I think that’s how you know it’s good do you keep a thesaurus around just in case no no I what they teach at Oregon State yeah that’s just hey that’s premier right there yeah it’s just my beavers don’t just build dams you know what I mean they can speak well they build books too you guys uh you hit the red carpet and let’s take a look at your outfits we we need to know the inspo behind that I like what adley said he said I went bold you know like weren’t sure but then you knew it was going to look good stepped out of your comfort zone a little bit correct yeah yeah I’m I’m having a tough time hearing over here but like talking about red carpet red carpet absolutely yeah I think that’s what it’s all about just trying to you know trying to shake things up and have something that looks interesting on pictures so yeah you can just kind of see me you know Meandering about there not really knowing what to do and like sneaky hot Meandering about you talking about me or she came in second I was talking about you early all right I mean I would agree she there’s nothing sneaky you’re sneaky hot there would the shades and kind of a little risky business oh thank you I appreciate it where was the outfit from um so had a designer melie B and she did a great job kind of just you know showed me showed me the ROP a little bit and uh picked it out and turned out good yeah hey adley last year he goes to the All-Star Game in Seattle his first time all the family and friends that come you got a lot of family and people here with you or you keep in a pretty small group yeah I got my uh my family uh my mom dad both brothers and then uh my fiance’s here and then uh my grandparents and aunt and Jake pe’s here by the way Jake PE that’s part of the family right there right that damn Going H I tell you what now he can play rot you got that right we love Jake P around here oh yeah Jake’s awesome love Jake I think I think you ask him one question about a secret about themselves I’m going to let them go back to the show what do you think yeah you guys got to get busy so it’s time to do Secret SOS but you guys have to share a secret about each other oh yeah nice I like what’s a secret about Gunner that nobody knows besides his mustache is awesomeness um gosh that’s that’s a tough one like his food ises he kind of picky or is he simple spill the tea adley let him know let him know oh my gosh I’m I’m thinking I’m thinking way back I think I got one for you though you want go first you go first secret all right uh rut has always wanted a corgi and he wants to name it Cornelius go Cornelius the corg Cornelius the Corgi do you love the little Corgi butts well I just love corgies I don’t know why you know what I’m saying can someone tell me what that is like I mean a corgi like mixed with anything okay thank you I didn’t know you got Uncle Kevin over here acting like I knew what a corgi was but I’m in um I don’t know why this one just came to mind but Gunner golf’s right-handed that’s a good secret and I can not really like is that crazy you kind of assume that Mark katat I was just G to say yeah hit her and Stripes it from the right side at least he throws right handed CS us left left left and hits right hand it’s crazy yeah I don’t know I feel like I don’t have any like really fun ones for you just just like mostly like sports related like he’s really good at bowling like weirdly good Mooky bets you have your own ball and Gunner no I do not uh Cen cower holds up that end of the deal he he has his own uh ball bag and bag for shoes and stuff he’s got everything you have another one this this one this one’s like late night if looking for like some Nostalgia good feels go watch Gunner’s high school basketball highlight tape yeah I mean this is like up there with like Tavon Austin like football highlight tape are you just a dude bowler this dude is absolutely isack packing it on Alabama High School there you have it guys unbeliev some kicking highlights good it’s not going to be as fun but thank you guys for coming dude I know you guys got to go we are so happy sneaky hot by the way your wife’s hot you’re sneaky hot it’s all hot
