I don’t get optioning Sosa. He was playing well in this 2nd stint
I have no idea why Sosa isn’t playing the rest of the season. He’s actually looked like a starter and this is the perfect chance to see if he’s worth keeping around since he gets to play everyday on this shit team.
Why did they do this to Sosa?
Lenyn finally shows a solid string of performances at the MLB level. So what do we do? Send him down naturally.

Did they even need to sign Senzel to a major league deal?
Dropping Sosa to AAA after finally showing up to let Moncada get back on the field at 3B is so dumb. And while it matters less on a baseball sense, why the hell replace Mendick with Senzel? He’s an absolute bust who’s contract is up at the end of this year, is represented by Boras, has career -2.2 WAR and 79 OPS+, and doesn’t have a fun name or any connection to the team.
They could a converted Mendick to a fucking reliever with the way the bullpen is going. Him and Senzel are basically identical statistically, and Mendick gets paid less than half what Senzel does.
